Woof. Probably the worst Mexican we have had in a while. We were passing through and stopped for a quick bite. My quesadilla was served cold in the middle with canned, not fresh, spinach. My husband's meal consisted of dry, tough beans and overly chewy rice. Ick.

Michiganders just passing through. Wanted some Authentic tasting Mexican food. My wife and I and 2 boys loved it. Kids were very happy with their meals. My youngest son is not crazy about Mexican food unless it's Taco Bell. Instead he found what he says are the best wing dings ever. LOL!

I am writing about Fiesta Mexicana as a traveler who often uses my "Nearby" Yelp tool. The restaurant is just off Exit 25 on I-75 near Corbin, Kentucky. Fiesta Mexicana was very good. The portions are ridiculous, but everything we ate was fresh and delicious. They even have a separate menu with oil-free, lighter recipes.

There are a few Mexican restaurants in and around London. None of them as good as this one. Fast service, clean tables, and excellent atmosphere. The price is very reasonable and the portions are very filling. The chips and salsa are some of the best. This is where I take my family and even business meetings there is room for everyone.

Was excited after reading the other reviews, unfortunately it did not live up to the other reviews I read. Food was luke warm at best and had to ask for a drink refill. Hope it was a one time bad experience.

Very generic. Food gets a 3. Chile Rellenos were quite good, pepper par-boiled before frying. Fajitas were just so-so. Margaritas right out of the bottle. Limited tequila. Good portions, fair prices.

been coming here for years with both family and friends. The place is Family owned and family orientated. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out to you super fast. Great prices and great food. If you're ever in the London area and want Mexican food, defiantly give this place a visit! Best Mexican food in London hands down!! Has been voted many times as the best Mexican Restaurant in Laurel Co by the newspaper for several years!

Good food. Big portions, even during lunch. Very friendly staff and owner. I go there for power lunches and they are so good. I love their chiles rellenos. They are very prompt to refill your drink and the place is always clean. :) Ah, I forgot to mention the good prices...

The husband says it was pretty good, but nothing like California Mexican. (Plus, they kinda burnt his tamale.) Then again, nothing around here really is. But I'd have to say, this restaurant is better than the last one we were at. The last one was called Eldorado - not as good as Fiesta Mexicana. This is why: The chips dipping sauce at Eldorado was like ketchup, not as good tasting or as thick with more substance as Fiesta. I ordered a chicken burrito with enchilada, and it was real good, because the red sauce on top wasn't all watery like Eldorado was, the shredded chicken was all white meat, and the burrito wasn't all flat like Eldorado. No complaints on the enchilada. And I also got beans and rice. The service was nice, although when the server came with our plates he gave mine to him and his to me. But it's okay, the server wasn't our waiter. They have a lot of food, so I would like to go back and try some of their other dishes. Overall a pretty good meal, but not as good as California. The food, the restaurant, the service was all incredibly good.

I second the previous reviewer, definitely the best Mexican restaurant in a town overrun by Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff, some even speak english well, and good quality fresh food and cheap beer. Can't ask for much more than that.

This is the best Mexican place in that entire corner of Southeast KY. They serve alcohol (in a former dry county in a state full of dry counties, that is significant!), their staff is friendly, and their food is good. The atmosphere is comfortable and fun. They have amazing taco salads, entrees, and deserts. If you're going to be in London, and you want Mexican, don't consider eating anywhere other than this great place. Make sure you get a tequila or Martguerita while you're there, they make good ones!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
