1st time eating at Cheddar's. It is a restaurant chain that serves lots of foods for a low price. Service was excellent but I was impressed with the food. I ordered the 8oz center cut steak along with 2 side order of Broccoli casserole and sweet corn. Steak was excellent but I walked away so impressed with the broccoli casserole this side order alone will bring me back next time I'm back in town. Overall, this is great place to come and eat good food, good sweet tea and walked away satisfy.

My husband has a life threatening reaction to MSG. Our waitress asked the kitchen to make sure there was no MSG in his food, and they suggested leaving the seasonings off our salmon, but otherwise everything would be fine. I took a bite of the rice and got an instant headache, and asked the waitress to make sure our rice did not contain it. Unfortunately my husband had already taken a couple of bites by this time, and the waitress came out and told us the rice did, indeed, contain MSG. The manager truly did not seem to care, and we paid for our uneaten food and left. Thanks to their carelessness our romantic anniversary weekend has turned into a nightmare.

Ate here for dinner on 7/15/2015 - ate at bar. Fairly quit but decent crowd. A more sophisticated feel than I expected which was nice. Had a salad which was great and 8oz steak over fried finely cut strips of onion. Bartender was great, friendly and attentive. Beer cold. Food was pretty good. Don't recall the cut but a NY strip would taste better. It was grilled but not great - might have been mine. Guy next to me had a chicken dish that looked great. I had the queso dip and chips earlier and they were great. Would definitely go back - as an out of town traveler I felt comfortable and the food was good - probably great depending on what you order - will try ribs next time !

I must start off by saying that the negative reviews that I read lowered the overall rating of this restaurant, for ridiculous reasons. But to each his own I guess. This location is directly off of the interstate. I'd stopped off the same exit many times and went with the Cracker Barrel every time. This time we went with Cheddar's, good choice made by another in my party. Because I live in Lexington and we have two Cheddar's locations, this wasn't my first Cheddar's experience. I must say that this location is more modern and cleaner than the Lexington locations. For years I thought that Cheddar's was a local concept, but I later learned that they were established in Texas. On to the food... I decided I should get something new, and I went with the chicken pot pie. I was not disappointed. It comes with a side salad and croissant which are scrumptious. You can always add a salad as your side to any menu item that includes a side, but it's $1.00 upcharge. I tasted the potato soup and it was awesome, the perfect temperature. I don't like my soup piping hot, which this one wasn't, it was perfect. The service was top notch and the food arrived quick.

Love Cheddar's food in general. Never had a bad meal there and the decor is very interesting when waiting for food or a table. The employees are friendly and helpful. Love the Dijon Chicken and Mushrooms with extra rice. Broccoli casserole is also good. Only downside is the parking lot is small so plan to go at off peak hours or you may have to park in the back of the building.

I don't understand the low rating for this location. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this restaurant. The salad was fresh the potato soup was good. The service was very helpful and they brought refills, as they should, before we had ran out of water. The restaurant was packed wen we got there for lunch. There was a bus in the parking lot, but we got our food without much of a wait.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but my husband said only 4 because they wouldn't substitute fries for onion rings. . Chicken finger app was awesome and the size was extra large. My husband had grilled chicken Hawaiian sandwich which he highly recommends. We will come back for sure..... very good food and service. ... the price was very inexpensive for the portion you received.

Suppose to hv a #gfmenu. But the waitresses are clueless. Manager sd my only option was the Mushroom Swiss Burger. Second attempt & still issues. Won't come back

On a family vacation and accommodated our large group immediately. Awesome service and great food! Patio was enjoyable. Fountain made it relaxing and enjoyed a great meal.

Great location, fairly new location, service was great and the dining room was nice and clean. Service was good, food was good and consistent with the other locations I have eatten at over time.

This is a great food experience. The wait can be a little long but well worth it. The food is reasonably priced, taste great, and the wait staff is very good. I have to say this is one of the best restaurants in the town. I have been to Cheddars numerous times and enjoyed all of their dishes. If I had to pick one the Chicken and Waffles would be my favorite.

We love Cheddar restaurants overall. On our way home from TN, we stopped at this location. Really nice staff. Dedicated fryer for fries = fries for my son with Celiac!

Although I've never had a pleasant experience at Cheddars I've given them multiple chances to change my mind. Today I tried this restaurant for the fourth and FINAL time. Each trip has consisted of waiting at the table for our food for over 40 minutes, cold food, and a mediocre meal. Not worth the time or money to eat here again.

I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I am a big fan of Cheddars and have had it many times before in different locations. But I will probably not go back to this location. Their "famous" onion rings had a hair cooked in them. My food was not hot, my fathers burger had practically raw bacon on it, and my mothers sandwich was missing ingredients. I will probably not be back to this location.

Poor quality food. Broccoli casserole is broccoli and velveeta. The hostess was rude and the specials were standard items off the menu. Really? Wine pours were less than 3oz and does anyone in the kitchen know what medium rare looks like. No apologies from the manager for poorly prepared food.

This is a good place to eat it is reasonably priced. The wait can be a little long but it is worth the wait. I eat the ribs and shrimp last time and they were the best I had since Montgomery inn. If you are in a hurry you will need to go somewhere else but for a nice sit down family experience you will not be disappointed.

Very slow and unattentive service. It took 27 minutes after I was seated to receive a coke. Food came quicker, but no all at the same time. Not impressed.

You can tell that Chedder's is no longer concerned about customers and the new has worn off. They tell you one thing and then go back on what you was told when it comes to honoring their word. Hope they don't get to comfortable and continue to do this because they could lose a lot of business.
