This place filled everyone up on our drive to Lake Cumberland. The waiter was kind of adorable - he had this large mustache and a good attitude, but the food was what you'd expect from TGI Friday's. Pretty average. After explaining that I'm basically allergic to dairy, I got a vegetable fajita sans cheese or sour cream, and it was alright. The coconut rice that came with it was pretty sickening, though. It was way too sweet. I also got this massive, but brief, stomach pain right after I ate. That can't be a good sign, right? The rest of the party said nothing good nor bad about their entrees, so I can only assume that they had just about the same opinion as me. One interesting thing that the restaurant had was a foot ledge thing attached to the bottom of the bathroom door so that you didn't have to touch the handle after you washed your hands. That's something I've never seen before and that was pretty cool.

We decided to do something outside our regular routine. So we came to Friday's. I've been numerous times and this time is the same as usual. My server was really nice! I have not had any horrible experiences here any time I have been here. When I come here, I'm in the mood for the Jack Daniels burger, cause it's just that good. Though I will admit that this time I went outside the box and got the ribs. Their menu has changed over the years and is much more expensive than it used to be. I also love the Salmon with lobster entree too!!! Let me add that my favorite appetizer is the tostada nachos... OMG!!! But because I got such a massive dinner I decided against getting more food... Ok back to my current experience! Waiter was great, no complaints at all! Great pace and drinks were right on time. My dinner was cooked just as I like it... But that Jack Daniels sauce is amazing and I can eat that on just about anything.

The menu is always changing. Today I ordered the 2 for $10 deal...a select entree and my choice between an appetizer or dessert. The spinach flatbread appetizer arrived cold and bland. The chicken/angel hair pasta dish was ok...very filling.

Don't know what has gone on before here, or in the evenings, but we stopped here to dine around 3:30 PM and everything was done just right (you see we were in town for a medical visit and decided to stop). We ordered a full rack of those Jack Daniels ribs and some fried green beans and also a 1/2 rack w/petite steak, mashed and grilled corn along with another order of friend green beans. We avoid the lime cole slaw like the plague (this stuff is hideous). The food came to our table hot and looking very nice. The green beans, if you've never tried them, are simply addictive as is the wasabi dipping sauce. The ribs were served hot and falling off the bone with that wonderful JD BBQ dipping sauce (you know the stuff with the fruit in it that you could eat a piece of cardboard with). The sides were good as well. The petite steak that was served was the better part of the meal though and it came well seasoned, served medium (just a little pink) and extremely tender and tasty. Our waitress was helpful and always there when we needed something. Don't know where all the love is gone for this place, but they did us right!

One word to describe our dinner here was hilarious. The last time I been to this Fridays was before the remodel, which was about 2 years ago. Now I remembered why. Our server looked like she would rather be somewhere else. I mean who wouldn't? I would be embarrassed to serve the food they prepare too. The sesame chicken appetizer was O.K. That should've been a sign. How do you mess up the appetizer? Well, the main course took 40 minutes to arrive, at a half empty restaurant. At this point we were starting to worry about our dinner and we were right. The BBQ ribs were hard as rock. We had to pull, grind, and use the knife to tear them apart. We suspected it was not cooked all the way through. My supposedly medium steak was extra extra well done. By that I mean it was burned in several place. I didn't have the heart to finish it. Not to mention the shrimp was tasteless and the rice tasted old. We couldn't stop ourselves from laughing at our dinner half way through it. It was hilarious to watch my family testing the rib apart and worry about food poisoning later. Or, trying to scrape the burned steak looking for a part to bite into so it doesn't taste bitter. I felt sorry for our server, she looked like she was too embarrassed to come by our table to ask if everything was okay. We were in a hurry to get on with our day so we didn't bother to take our food back. Needless to say that we will not be back again.

TGI Friday's has been on a roller coaster ride as far as delivering consistent quality food over the years. Their menu is always changing, so you never know what you're going to order when you return. The new york cheesecake comes highly recommended.

Meh is a good way to describe this place. Don't get me wrong, I've been to Fridays before. I know what to expect but this was really subpar. I ordered a salad with dressing on the side and extra avocado. I got it covered in dressing with...you guessed it...no extra avocado. Not impressed. That's not exactly a complicated order. And the salad was freakin 10 bucks with super dried out chicken. Okay fair enough it was a big salad and that's a good enough price but come on...if I'm paying 10 bucks for a salad and ask for the dressing on the side, get it right!! And what the hell is up with their milkshakes?! Once upon a time you got a milkshake from Fridays and it came in a 20oz glass with a little extra in a silver cup. Well I got a FREAKIN 8 OZ GLASS. FOUR DOLLARS AND AN 8OZ GLASS ARE YOU PEOPLE ON CRACK?! Ugh. Even the potato skins were dry. And our waiter did not bring us (party of 6 people) plates or sour cream for the appetizers. Maybe our server was just extra shitty. But a good establishment has good waitstaff...especially if the food is meh. Of course I'll probably go back since it's a good place for a group if you need some hot food after being outside all day. But I was pretty unimpressed. As Fridays go this one was pretty lame.

Food was good and the pricing was fair. A lack of booths meant our party had to sit at a table in the middle of the restaurant which I think no one enjoys. There was a hair cooked into our appetizer but they replaced it quickly and didn't charge us for it. Ribs were a little disappointing due to the small size. Okay experience though

This is my least favorite chain of all time. I know they have a major deal with Jack Daniels but that crappy sauce its on everthing. Im waiting for it to be used as a salad dressing.

Have not been here in a bit, used to be a regular since I lived in the neighborhood. The bar area has the most friendly people even if it does smell a bit of stale beer that needs cleaned out of the bat back area and off the floors. Tried the black bean burger this time. Felt like branching WAY OUT from my normal meat eating self. It was wonderful. It beans so understand that it will crumble more but the seasoning had a little chorizo taste. Wonderful!

Ive always liked TGIFs but this big city girl comes to visit and I cant even get my discount on my check. Don't get me wrong the service was awesome, food came out on time and the waitress was very friendly; when the time came to pay we split the bill in half since it was two couples. Supposedly the only way for me to get my discount was to split my check in two (my husband on one and mine on another) so I could get it. What type of sense does that make?!? The waitress even asked the manager and the answer was the same, but I will believe that small city TGIF doesn't run the same as big city TGIF because i have never had any similar inconvenience before...

If you have an hour or so to sit around and wait on food, this place is perfect for you. The prices are quite high, as compared to similar restaurants like Logan's or Chilis, and the quality isn't any better than the competitors. The servers were kind, and we had no problems with them. They're currently running a promotion for "endless" appetizers, but don't allow two people to share. Why would I buy two different appetizers for two people, and why would we want unlimited of it? Easily the least thought out promotion in the history of promotions. We got the cheese sticks for an appetizer (not with the promo, since it isn't shareable that way), but the marinara was bland and had almost no flavor. My wife enjoyed her burger, but the Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta that I ordered tasted like it came out of a box. For the price and quality, we will not be eating here again.

Not Worth the wait. Stopped in for the first time in 8 years, hoping for the same amazing experience I had the last time I was in a TGI Fridays. No one came to take our order, the manager had to come take our drink orders. The chorizo burger was almost as flat and uninteresting as a McDonald's burger, definitely not a $13 burger. And the French Dip... sigh*. It looks more like a microwave sandwich. So small. Slow service and subpar food. Now we know why they weren't crowded.

I go to TGI Friday's when I want to go out to eat somewhere that's in the same casual realm as Applebees or O'Charley's but with a few more choices. I'm a fan of their appetizers. Potato skins, spinach and artichoke dip, pretzels and beer cheese dip. It's all good. The wings aren't quite Buffalo, New York style but they're tasty and not dripping in sauce, which I like. Their meats seem to be hit or miss. On one occasion, I got a full rack of ribs. They were dry and disappointing. On another occasion, my boyfriend got a half rack of ribs to go with his ribeye and the ribs were juicy and delicious. The last time I was there, I got a medium rare sirloin and lobster tails. The steak was well cooked, but not at all flavorful. I wanted to drown it in A1, but the waitress told me they didn't have any that night (?) I should have known the lobster wasn't going to be up to par but that was my eternal optimism. It was not good lobster. I know Maine lobster and that's my standard so I'm kind of a lobster snob. Another thing...the drinks are outrageously expensive (unless you get one of the specials). You could get cheaper mixed drinks at Drake's or Harry's.

I've been here many times and I still love the place. Casual dining, not to fancy, although sometimes I feel a bit pricey. I always recommend the jack Daniels flat iron skillet but today I tried the ribs and chicken combo. The ribs were a bit dry for me but the chicken was ok. The sides were great and also had the spinach dip which is one of my favorite locations to get it at. Always use your stripe card to add points up because today my meal is free, can't complain about that at all

The Jack Daniel's Sampler is amazing. Our server, TJ was great as well. Very nice guy. Definitely plan on coming back.

I remember trying this restaurant franchise back in California when I was little. Came to this particular location with a friend two days ago. The atmosphere was great, unique things on the walls and such. The food was good. We got the three rib flavors for $10 deal. The coleslaw had really a unique taste compared to other coleslaws I have tried. Unique in a good way though. Lots of onion flavor. Our waiter was great; but if you asked me the name, I would have no idea. Whenever I meet someone, I always meet them in visual, never tag a name. Who cares right? Parents name their kids. It is not like we could not change them anyway. Our physicality defines us, not names (sorry...veering off topic). Anyway, great place. Cannot wait to go back and try their all you can eat appetizers!
