The place is a little shady at 1:00 am but the service was nice and the food was filling. You can also sit outside and eat which tonight is a good night for that and they refilled my drink at the walk up window which I'm always a big fan of refills. I will come back on a nice day outside and try it sometime.

So I know this is a "fast food joint" but come on... The food here is edible at best (sometimes). The service is probably the worst I've seen at any place here in lexington. My wife and I went and we got a couple meals for us and 2 kids meals for our kids. My step son has autism and is very very picky about the food he eats (mostly the texture) so it has to be a certain way. I always get the big bufford with no tomatoes and no mustard. When I got home it thankfully didn't have tomatoes but had mustard literally dripping off the sides. My wife ordered the spicy chicken and it was pretty much still frozen. The only saving grace was the fries. They were perfect thankfully. Now back to the service. While I was ordering my step sons food I could hear the lady or should I say little girl shewing and huffing. I am extremely nice but If I'm going to pay for food I want it done the way I ask. That's kinda the point of ordering out right!? So when I got to the window I wanted to make sure she got it right so I asked if she minded to read back how I ordered his burger. Of course she shews me again and went as far as shutting the window without a single word and goes and gets some guy (whom I later see making my food) who asks if I could tell him how I wanted the burger. So I go ahead and repeat everything once again 2-3 times while one finger pokes the register to death. He was a lot nicer then the girl by the way. So he gets the order in and the girl comes back and tells me the price and rudely holds her hand out the window and rolls her eyes while I'm getting the money out of my wallet and just for fun I counted out 36 cents in pennies from my cup holder that where really nice and sticky lol.. But after spending a good 5-8 minutes sitting in line we get our slop and head home. My wife ended up just eating fries, I had to take a bull dozer and scrape the 5 pounds of ketchup and mustard of my burger and took maybe 3 bites. The boys ate there chicken and burger just fine but made a mess with the sloppy 5-6 pounds of the ketchup and mustard soup they put on all burgers. Anyways I've not been back to this location since and the only way I can describe the lady who waited on us is ghetto.. She will more than likely spend the rest of her life saying do you want fries with that.. I will never go back to this store and the best advice I can give is just go somewhere else!

When you get fast food from most any place you pretty much know what your getting, you don't go to Rally's if you want a classy, high brow experience with food cooked by Michelin star chefs. Rally's, like most other fast food, is there for immediate satisfaction of your hunger pains, caloric intake and atmosphere be damned. I love Rally's fries, they are right up there with McDonald's at the top of the list. The fries are really the main draw as the other food is merely average fare at best, nothing special, and that's perfectly acceptable considering the establishment. I purchased a Big Buford combo and it was adequate, pretty much what I expected and solved the hunger problem without being memorable. The food was served fairly quickly and the foods temperature wasn't warm, not piping hot, but fine. The fries were great as usual, the burger was okay and my ice tea was cold and unsweetened just how I like it. So, everything being said, the two stars are for the food, one and a half for the fries and half for the burger. Let's talk about the service, while I'm sure the young lady who took are order is probably a pleasant person in everyday life, she certainly wasn't much of a treasure tonight, no "Hello, how are you all?" no "please" or "thank you" just a "tell me when you're ready to order" hollered out of the window while we looked at the menu. I don't expected a lot from a rally's food wise but I do expect a pleasant staff, it's just common courtesy, that's all. To her credit, we did get a have a good night as she shut the window but that was the only pleasantry and it was at the end. Because courtesy goes a long way with me I can only give this establishment stars for food.

Likes: Went to this place for a first time visit after seeing the ad for $1 Lil Phillies and $1 Garlic Swiss. Try them right now and they are pretty good. More or less, I think the quality is lacking because it does taste kind of cheap, like White Castle hamburger cheap. Still good, but cheap. Makes me wonder how they have so many good options though. $1 Waffle cones and $1-16.9 oz Dasani Water? What a steal! Dislikes: This particular location does not have a good way to move traffic through the drive thru, nor does the two drive thrus placed on either side of it help. Imagine pulling through the one on the left and then you're in the driver's seat. You have to reach all the way through the window. *sigh*

I've been coming here since moving to Lexington. I usually come for a late night snack. Well so far everyone who has attended us is AWESOME! They are great, great costumer service! It's pretty empty usually when we go- no reason why, it's got the best fries!!!
