I had to try the 6 inch meat ball sub they have on special this month for $2. So I tried it for lunch yesterday. It was very good as most of their subs are. The fresh baked buns are excellent especially the cheese. I've always thought Subway was the best and this time they did not disappoint.

Everything was on point! From the greet, to the service, food and manager/owner table visit! Even the food runner was happy and you could tell everyone loves their job. 2 top with margarita's, an app & meals... $31 I'd pay twice that amount for the overall quality we just experienced You just created a return guest! We thank you Gustavo's!!
Great food! even better price!!! The lunch special are great! The personal was great with fast service
Ate here today during lunch at work. Huge lunch special selection. Around 20 meals to pick from. Priced between $5.99 and $8.99. The free salsa was ok. I've had better at El Nopal. Everything else was great. My coworkers' meals also looked good. The employees were super nice and friendly. If I'm near here again, I will eat here again. Wish one was in Louisville.

This is a favorite dinner spot for my family and I. My husband and I love the brisket nachos. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey and caters towards families by providing coloring books and tins of crayons. My daughter likes the BBQ sauce so much she puts it on top of her mac & cheese. We will continue to be regulars as long as it's open!
Parking was easy. Lots of seating...even outdoor patio. I tried smoked bologna and baked potato salad. I totally cracked up at the size of the bologna (see pic). Huge. I ate 1/4. The potato salad was the best I've ever had. I tried boyfriends ribs....mmmmmmm. fell off the bone, taste the smoke, juicy, and delicious. Thats why they are a barbecue place. They know how to do it right. Restroom was very clean. Price was reasonable. Server was friendly and did a good job. It was all good.
Amazing food and great service! Driving thru the area and saw great reviews for this bbq on yelp so we decided to try it! I got the pork bowl and loved it! My husband got the brisket nachos... Very delicious! Clean bathrooms too! Will definitely stop here again when in the area!

Serendipity Cafe & Ice Cream Station

Amazing chocolate confections and treats. The chocolate dipped cookie dough bites and the salted chocolate brownie bites are worth driving many miles.
A very eclectic store that suits that heart of La Grange perfectly. Lots of a little rooms each with own little theme. Candies for sale, ice cream, lots of seating, and lots of random gifts strewn about. They tend to stress that they have five additional rooms upstairs, but we were kind of in a hurry, so we unfortunately had to skip. Very intrigued by their gourmet food products however.. Habanero Jelly, Carrot Cake Jam, Apple Salsa. Very tempting, but we had to scoot.
What a great find! We got off this highway exit because there was a sign for a Cracker Barrel = There has got to be more dining options other than a truck stop. Serendipity is like a Catching Fireflies (Rochester, Berkeley, MI) or Shine (Royal Oak, MI) with tables and a lunch menu. While you dine and after, Serendipity is full of knickknacks and jewelry. I ordered an iced tea and a chicken salad sandwich with a side of asparagus and pineapple. I'm not sure if my asparagus and pineapple is a Kentucky dish. A little strange, but delicious non the less. The chicken salad sandwich was amazing! Very fresh, light and refreshing. Oh, I almost forgot about the scone. Oh, the scone! The waitress brought us over 2 scones as appetizers. YUM. Expert tip: Do not shoplift! Per the homemade and frequently updated sign, they have busted 15 people this year!

I tried this place again and this time I was not as pleased. I got a BBQ pork order to go with two sides. When I got home I was disappointed. If there were separate ratings, I would give the pork a 10 for the great hickory smoked flavor. And the spicy sauce was just right and delicious. However, the sides not so good. Beans were not very tasty and a very small portion. The also small portion of slaw was dry and the cabbage was in chunks, not grated and not tasty. I also got an extra order of onion rings and they were mushy and not crisp. The worst part of all was my bun. The grease from the meat had soaked into the lower half and it was so soggy I could not even pick it up to eat. I'm only about 10 minutes away so the order didn't sit that long. I'll go back but, I'll make it a point to tell them about my displeasure.
What can you expect from a barbecue place located in an old car wash across from a high school? "Sheer tastebud delight" is the answer! The barbecue from Bully is nothing short of fantastic. I have had the pulled pork (the blackened, smoky edges are the best), brisket, pulled chicken and ribs. All have been uniformly delicious! The sides of potato salad and green beans can't be beat, and the cole slaw is fresh and delicious! And friend pickles, you say? Sign me up for a double order! Did I mention the bourbon barbecue sauce? None of the meats from Bully need sauce as they are stand-alone awesome, but a tiny drizzle over the top just adds a little extra something! And to make this even better? The prices are incredibly affordable $7 to $9 for a pound of delectable, scrumptious meat? I was floored. I got enough for at least 8 meals for under $40! Will I be making the regular trip from the Highlands to Bully? YES! And you should, too! Go, go NOW!
An old car wash site turned into what BBQ should be. Food was great and the sauce amazing.

It's been a while since I've been here so I decided to try it again for lunch. When you walk in the door you are immediately greeted by a friendly hello. They have an extensive menu for lunch that will make it hard to choose. You can eat-in or take out. I chose to eat-in. This time I selected Szechuan Chicken. Comes with fried rice and egg roll, $5.05. For an extra $1.95 you can order a pt. of Hot and Spicy Soup. The serving is very generous and if you can't finish it they will give you a to-go box. I will go back again.
We were in the Louisville area and wanted Chinese. Red Sun took orders online and we did a pick up 15 minutes later. The food was plentiful. That's the good part of this experience. The egg rolls were smaller than normal and over fried. My husband ordered his szechuan chicken extra spicy and it was barely spicy at all. A 4 out of 10 for spiciness. My Hunan beef came with a piece of paper in it! Also who puts green beans in either of these two dishes! They do! Too weird!! Let alone the beans weren't cooked thoroughly. Not impressed at all with Red Sun.
Stopped here while traveling. Great prices and excellent food! Plenty to share and we even had some left over to take with us.

I really enjoy going to DQ. They have some of the best tasting treats you can get anywhere. My favorite thing to get there is just a good old ice cream cone. I get the chocolate and vanilla swirl. The ice cream is so soft, smooth and creamy. And it has a special taste that is so good.

The cheesesteak sandwich that I had here was one of the best I've had in a while. The bread was good, the steak was tender and the peppers were fresh and cut in large chunks. The whole thing was smothered in stretchy, melted cheese. I got the 6 inch version and it was a good quantity of food. The picture I took kind of makes it look small, because you can't tell how much stuff is underneath all that cheese. The fries were okay. The wings were good by pizza place standards, but not as good as what you'd get at a wing place. Some of the wings were slightly crispy, not as much as I'd hoped. Some of the drumettes had tough meat. The sauce was okay. I asked for hot, it wasn't, but it tasted fine. I'll go back sometime later and actually try something Italian on the menu next time.
Cute place loved it!! Clean and neat. Our waitress was really nice and service was great. We only had salads and appetizers but it was all really good. Cant wait to go back and try all the different pasta dishes. I'll let you know how that is next time.
Group of 7 stopped in randomly and had a great meal. Yum. Also met Steve-o. A local hero and great guy. Try the key lime pie.

It is good and the Mon-Sat lunch prices are great, especially for the amount of food you get. It isn't my go-to place for "real" Mexican, but I can't complain about the quality of the good. The shredded chicken and shredded beef that are in a lot of the items are both juicy and flavorful. I'm pretty sure I've had a least 5 bowls of the tortilla soup this month between this location and one in Louisville. Service is friendly and fast, plus no one bats an eye when we come in wearing riding clothes and covered in hay and horse hair, sweat, and yuck.
Our waiter had a few problems with getting drinks wrong but we went on a Wednesday night and they have an Elvis impersonator there on that night. He was hilarious and made eating there a ton of fun!
Everything is always delicious. The queso dip is outstanding! Their chicken burrito's have the best flavor. Their sweet tea comes in nice sized glasses and is very good. I would highly recommend this place!
