We have tried a lot delivery places but this is our favorite!!! Always friendly and amazing food especially the Crab Rangoon and general Tso's shrimp !
As far as Americanized "Chinese" food goes I usually steer clear, with that said wok and roll is pretty decent. I've been here twice so far, both times the food was made sufficiently quickly. The food tasted fresh, I didn't feel the need to drown my meal in sweet and sour sauce, because it was good enough on its own. I wasn't overly impressed but certainly wasn't disappointed, this was above average as far as generic "Chinese" goes and I'll definitely be coming back in the future.
This place has the best FRESH Chinese food in NKY! Love it! The Kung Pao Chicken is DEEEEELICIOUS!!!!

I followed the waitress' recommendation and ordered the gyro nachos. The meat and toppings were all good but fried pita bread does not work as the chips. They are too thick, tough, and chewy. I just thought it was a terrible idea for a dish and was confused that that was what was recommended. My wife had fish sandwich and said it was nothing special. Service wasn't great. Waitress was a teenager and her phone started going off while taking our order. One time and it's a little comical. Second time it happens when she's bringing the food and you're now certain she just doesn't care anymore. What really had the wife and I talking was the location/decor. The inside is really nice. Very open layout with vaulted ceilings and nice big booths. It feels like a nice restaurant but then they have all of these markings of a diner like having the waitress station with the drink machine out in the open, cheap condiment holder on the table, the style of plates, etc. The sign sort of leads you to think it's a greek restaurant but it's more like a diner with a little greek food. Most of the decorations on the walls are more rustic/southern but then there are two pictures of Greece. The place just seems really unsure of what exactly it is.
Angelo's has a pretty simple menu with good food. My wife and I each had the gyro dinner and it is a lot of food. The kids had cheeseburgers with fries and both enjoyed it, but neither were able to eat it all. I had a bite if the burger and it was pretty good for a kids dinner. The gyro meat was good and flavorful, the wife couldn't eat it all and brought about half of it home. One of our friends had a double decker sandwich and it was huge! They don't have their liquor license yet but we were told any day now. They've only been open 5 days and seem to be running smooth. I do think they could be a good spot once they can open the bar, but they'd need to be open later than 10pm.
They close their doors they are out of business was the best homemade food around they have a place in Walton now

Not a bad spot for suburban Independence. The actual restaurant itself is really inviting and decorated lovely. There is also a pretty cute patio area and an interesting bar area. The staff was friendly enough when my very pregnant sister and I dined in. My first thought was that I was happy to see that there was a "Vegetarian" section of the menu. That always reassures me that the beans and rice are made without animal stock or animal fat. I ordered veggie fajitas without sour cream or cheese and my sister ordered a steak quesadilla. My sister enjoyed her steak quesadilla and my veggie fajitas were pretty okay. I expected the veggies to be grilled or sautéed but they seemed to have been steamed then lightly sautéed just to mix them together. This really reduced the flavor of the veggies and gave them a kind of soggy texture which was not super pleasant in fajitas. However, it was not bad for the vegan food desert that is Southern Kenton County.
This is owned by the same people who run the eateries in Newport & Florence, and the food is just as amazing. The grand opening was son Cinco de Mayo at 5pm, where patrons could come in and sample the foods on a buffet style table for free and only pay for their drinks. Starting 5/6/11 the restaurant is open for business with full menu offerings, but I found it to be very clever to offer the best dishes for free to entice future business. As always, the salsa is as amazing as the Newport location (not a fan of the Florence location's salsa or service). Now on to the nom nom nom... The guacamole and pico de gallo are also very fresh and authentic, with just the right amount of heat and cilantro. As for the typical offerings (chimichangas, fajitas, tacos) all are very good and portioned quite large with a reasonable price. My personal recommendation, however, is the carnitas, which is the BEST thing I have EVER had there. Ever. Imagine deep fried chunks of tender pork roast that are oh so crisp on the outside yet flavorful and moist inside, giving to the slightest pressure from your fork. Combine this with the accompaniments of pico de gallo, beans, rice, cheese, and tortillas, and this is a sure fire winner. Not sure where to take your in-laws for that first time awkward "meet the parents" meal? Go here. Here's your ace in the hole-fish bowl margaritas. No skimping on the tequila. Comprende? They'll be calling you mija/mijo by the end of the meal! Got kids? No problemo. The kids menu is sure to please, with the ever popular french fries and grilled cheese for picky eaters (my lil man was a fan), and the wait staff are all very kid friendly. The free chips and salsa is also a great busy tool for most little ones.
Rio Grande's newest addition to the growing Northern Kentucky family of Mexican restaurants, located in Independence, lives up to the standards set by the others. Tasty, generous portions of both food and drink are the main draw here. That's not to say, though, that the service isn't just as good; it is. Waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. I've never had to wait for a drink. As an Independent resident, I was particularly happy that a non-chain sit-down restaurant finally moved out our to the cultural wasteland. Frisch's and Buffalo Wild Wings may have there place, but it's much nicer to finally have a place that is, indeed, independent and a little bit unique. Oh, and this location also offers $2.99 Margaritas every evening, which makes me very happy since I'm within walking distance of my house.

Independence location is a good operation in my experience - food is consistent - service is good. You get what you order, generally hot and seems freshly made. It's Wendy's so if your familiar you get what you expect. I really like Wendy's chili, its supposedly made out of the burger patti's - I've heard rumors that it's Wendy's practice to use leftover or overcooked patti's to make the chili - rumors you know but it still tastes good. The spicy chicken sandwich is one of my favs too - Burger Kings version just put some spicy sauce on their sandwich that was a bit disgusting. Wendy's actually has the flavor and heat in the breading and sandwich itself - it's got a little kick and is quite good. Had only 1 issue in a number of visits over the past few years where I didn't get a burger I ordered from the drive thru - managed to catch it before leaving the parking lot. Went back in and the manager apologized and tossed in an extra cheeseburger for my trouble. I doubt that is standard practice but made a happy customer and shows service and the customer experience is important to them. I have not had really any other issues.
I rated this Wendy's with 1 star because of their lack for customer service. I applied for this store online and when checking on my application by calling the store I was told how wrong it was of me to call. On top of that I was told to especially not call on a Saturday.
A good menu. The restaurant is kept clean and the service is friendly and prompt. The food is the standard Wendy's. My favorite is their chili. The chili is good and at a good price

I live in Independence, so the location is close, but there isn't too much good I can say about this McDonalds. One morning I went through the drive thru and ordered a sweet tea. When I got to the window there was no one in sight. Finally someone walked out the door and took the trash to the dumpster. She saw me waiting and then when she came back in she came to window. Not another worker in sight??? Other complaints: - I agree with another review... I've gotten cold fries on several occasions. - Sweet tea is inconsistent... sometimes its sweet, sometimes its not - My order has been messed up more than once and I usually don't realize it until I get home. On the plus side, my dog loves cold McDonald's french fries!
This is by far the worst customer service of any place I have ever been. Restaurant or any place, worst service. They consistently get your order wrong . Something wrong every time I go there . They are slow and then get your order wrong. They need some serious training in how to run a fast food restaurant . It took over 7 minutes for someone to take my order when I was there today and after a 5 minute wait for my order they got 3 things wrong . Time to boycott
Food is not consistent. I have been disappointed to many times and now I am boycotting this place.
