Honestly one of the best hidden gems in Northern Kentucky. I have looked for a non-chain Chicken Wing restaurant for a long time around this area, and these are the absolute best I've ever tasted. Went for lunch the other day and got 6 wings (Spicy Teriyaki), Onion Rings with dipping sauce, and a Garden Salad with Bleu Cheese dressing. First off, I must say, the Spicy Teriyaki sauce on the wings is one of the best flavors I have tasted anywhere. Apparently its their house made Medium sauce mixed with their Teriyaki. One word - Divine. It's the perfect balance of sweet, spice, and savory. I've never tasted anything like it before. The wings that it came on were crispy (I always ask for them well done). I ordered WAY too much food though, once I realized how huge the garden salad was. The wings and onion rings were enough for a full meal on their own, and so was the salad! It definitely is not just a "side" salad that you can get at many places. It was a salad for two almost. All the vegetables were fresh. You can watch them chop up all the veggies after you order. I was amazed at how many different vegetables went on this one salad. From what I can remember, there were carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, and tomatoes (whereas most places only give you cucumber and tomato on some wilted lettuce). TIP: Ask for the dried cranberries on top of your salad. It gives it another dimension of flavor with the added sweetness and tang-ness. I've eaten here multiple times at this point. They are always adding new things to the menu. Their dry rubs are a good addition to their flavors for wings and boneless - my favorite is the Cajun. They recently added homemade soups that change on the weekly basis. I've only been able to try the vegetable soup, and it certainly holds up to the quality of all their other food. I'd love to try some of their other soups or chili's, too. I've tried about 5 different menu items in total and have thoroughly enjoyed them all.
Ordered today at 11:45am online. Called immediately after I placed my order to ask they deliver at 12:45p. I was getting it delivered to the DoubleTree by the airport. My concern is that the wings and French fries may have started cooking already and it would've been delivered cold. BUT, it was the exact opposite. Food was delivered at 12:45 ON THE DOT. Wings were hot and the French fries tasted like they just came out of the fryer. Amazing quality for delivery. Everything was perfect. Good value. And I didn't experience any of these delivery fees I read about. Definitely will order again.
I recently discovered Wings on Wheels while searching places that deliver to work. Up until now, the only delivery wings I have had were the less than stellar pizza place wings. I am a fan of Wings on Wheels. Since first trying them a couple of weeks ago, my co-workers and I have been keeping their delivery folks pretty busy making runs to the Airport. Their wings are priced on par with every other wing joint in town but their wings are huge, they offer a wide variety of sauces and they have by far THE BEST onion rings I have ever had. They offer convenient online ordering and payment and they deliver really quickly. Show this local place some love!

Incredibly fresh pizza and some of the best hoagies I've tasted. The staff will make you feel at home with their friendly attitude and attention. If you don't want something so heavy, try one of their salads, even they seem special and delicious, chopped to perfection.
Pizza is pretty good. Square slices. The papa special pizza is real good. The lady who took my order was great also. Real friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back again. Place isn't real fancy and it wasn't too busy when I was there. They have some domestic beers in bottles.
The pizza was ok. I think that $16.99 for a 12" pizza in northern Kentucky is steep. Like I said, it was ok, but it definitely didn't blow me away.

best chicken sand which ever.
Basic airport Chick-Fil-A. Don't be fooled folks, they are not as good as normal ones. The chicken was dry and the biscuit I had dry and tasteless as well. The little hashbrown bites were good, but greasy. Price is comparable to normal prices. They don't take gift cards though which is annoying. Won't satisfy your Chick-Fil-A craving.
Happy to see that the airport Chick-Fil-A now offers the spicy chicken sandwich! I wish they had grilled nuggets, but it's still progress. They would have received a higher rating but the service was not the norm. No one said "my pleasure" when helping you. The 3 people were very busy but very confused. I saw someone take the wrong order, then my sandwich was given to the wrong person. We straightened it out but it was still crazier than it needed to be.

Bruegger’s Bagels

You're at the Cincinnati airport. You're catching a morning flight. The line for the Starbucks is crazy! Look just past the Starbucks line and you'll see the Brueggers... and almost no line! Great place to get coffee and the bagels are pretty decent. Fast friendly service. You can grab your coffee, some water for the plane, a nice toasted bagel with the cream cheese of your choice liberally applied and other snacks like fruit. A winner - and usually a much shorter line for better food than Starbucks.
It's kind of the worst Bruegger's ever. I mean, it's in an airport, and it's an OK breakfast choice. They open late (seems like management doesn't care much, they were 25 minutes late to open when we where there), prices are high because it's in an airport, and the bagels lack something. The asiago-parmesan we got was light on cheese (normally they have lots of crispy cheese on top), the bagel seemed undercooked, and the 'toasting' did nothing - seemed like their toaster was broken. I'd say aim for one of the outside ones (the one in Columbia-Tusculum has a drive through) before stopping by the airport to get your bagel fix or go elsewhere.
If you ever find yourself at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport and you're in a hurry and are hungry, pick this place. Why? Well, there is nothing else remotely healthy available in the food court (McDonalds, Chick Fil A, Gold Star Chili, and a Philly cheese steak place named Charley's). As for the food itself, it's okay. I had a layover later in the evening and wanted something other than a bagel. They have sandwiches and salads on the menu so I opted for a Caesar salad with chicken. It wasn't bad at all however a small salad really is tiny. The worst part about this experience was the fact that it took 15 minutes for the 3 staff members behind the counter to make sandwiches for the 4 customers in front of me before they asked me for my order. It shouldn't take that long to take orders from 4 customers. It's clear they have some efficiency issues behind the counter which is not what you want when you're trying to catch a flight. The highlight was the delicious brownies they have... If I'm ever back at this airport I'd probably still go there given the poor dining options at the food court.

Not great service. There was no hostess available so we sat ourselves. And we had to stand at the bar for a long time to try and get menus. After a while we finally got a drink and our meals. I had the chicken Caesar which was pretty good, so I was happy with the food.
The steak are badly cut and seated on only one side. I doubt the steak was rested. Complete fail. The vegetable are even worse. Overlooked and limp. The mushrooms were particularly terrible. They were boiled and served in that water. When I was there, they were severely understaffed. Expect slow service. Ridiculousness at an airport. Lastly, the seats were uncomfortable. Yup, I throughly hated the place.
I just ordered a baked potato soup to go and it was awful. Lukewarm (cheese didn't melt on top), watery and overly salty- like I was eating gulps of salt. So disappointing. I don't think ordering in person would have made it any better.

I became a Sonic burger and lemonberry slush lover when I lived in Nashville. For being a fast food place, I choose Sonic above every chain. This seems to be a new location, so there is a learning curve going on. The first time I stopped, I ordered a #1 NO CHEESE, with mayo, ketchup, and lettuce. I received a plain hamburger. Second time I went, I placed the same order and received a cheeseburger that appeared to have extra cheese. I checked my receipt and it does say - cheese. That being said, the food was hot and tasty. I like that they have a drive thru window as well as the park and order.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Ordered a Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese - no bun (low carb) and no fries, plus a bottle of water. Food was hot and delicious!
I pulled in to the drive through and ordered a "#11" (a club chicken sandwich and fries), and I asked the woman at the speaker for a large iced mocha for my drink. She replied, "I'm sorry, but that machine has been broken all day (it was now 1115)." So I ordered a sweet tea. I pulled around to pay and I casually said to the woman taking my money - "You know, I'd been looking forward to an iced mocha all day (heavy sigh for dramatic effect). She said, "Sorry, the machine broke at 0700 and its been down all day; it might be fixed tomorrow." I said okay and paid, then I went to the pickup window. Again, to the manager at the window, I said, "You know, I'd been looking forward to an iced mocha all day." And again, the MANAGER said, "Sorry, the machine is broken." At no time did it occur to either woman that the fact that their machine was broken wasn't my fault. That my expectations weren't being met MIGHT be an opportunity to give great service. Any sort of tangible gesture would have been appreciated by me, a free shake, a coupon, a gift card, a comped meal, ANYTHING. But no. Nothing. McDonald's is apparently perfectly fine with disappointing a guest, and having that guest deal with the consequences. Incidentally, the bun was stale, the chicken was rubbery and WTH was with the "bacon" on the McD's Club? It looked microwaved. Discolored, dehydrated and tasteless. I literally threw half of it away. I don't eat at McD's that often, and by their behavior and the quality of the food I received, it will be a long, long time before I go there again.
hehe

best breakfast in america. everything else is. . . . .well. . . . . .ok. can't ahte on mcdonald's. not as a registered voter in america. sorry, foodie pals.
Oh my gosh. I traveled through CVG on business and this McDonalds has to be the worst on planet earth. Apart from the restaurant being physically dirty and unappetizing...The employees were sluggish and slow, appearing to hate their jobs and life itself. I waited 10 plus minutes for an order of fries. At some point while I was waiting, I saw one of the girls attempt to scoop my fries, only to have another more "senior" looking employee take it from her hand, dump it out, and proceed to tell her that I was AFTER the people who ordered a big order in front of me, and I should wait until they were served first. So sad to see McDonalds go down the drain like this, it actually used to be a normal family establishment for normal people. Now it's just a place where sad people work and where sad people go to eat. Sorry to have to write this.
Run! It's one of the last places open at the Cincinnati airport! Bolt down a #2 with a Coke before you scramble to your 20-minute layover. HURRY!

Skyline Chili

1960 Litton Ln
Hebron, 41048
Reviews:
Tried the Skyline 5 Way spaghetti platter and a Greek Salad. I'm not big on the chili seasonings, but it was hot and hearty. The Greek Salad was chock full of fresh, crisp, and various veggies, and the dressing was spot on. My first Cincy chili experience just average. Next time, Gold Star for a comparo.
Here's a little backstory: My daughter has Kitt Kittredge, the American Girl doll. She also has all her books, including her cookbook. See, Kitt is from Depression era Cincinnati, so a chili recipe was included in her cookbook. I was intrigued by how different it was from our regular chili here in Missouri, so I tried it. It was different, but it was very yummy. The kids loved it. I couldn't wait to try *real* Cincinnati style chili now that I'd had a version from a doll's cookbook. Surely, the real deal would be even better! Flash Forward to July 2013: We had just left the Creation Museum and we were starving. We had avoided all the yummy smelling food at their food court because we had our hearts set on Skyline Chili. When we got there the place was nearly deserted. Not a good sign. It was clean, at least. The waitress was pleasant and helpful with the menu questions we had. Our orders arrived. I got a half order of 5 way chili (that's "the works"). I wish they had used a bigger plate as the spaghetti noodles and chili were spilling onto the table. Still, I dove in. ...wait for it... What?! Ew, this wasn't what I expected. at. all. It was disgusting. It was nothing like the recipe I had tried that was rich with spices, including cinnamon, cocoa powder, and allspice. It was a glob of meat sauce flavored only with cinnamon. None of us could eat it. Fortunately, my younger 2 children ordered plain hot dogs...Lucky! The truth is, Cincinnati chili is an acquired taste. If you are used to Midwestern/Texas style chili con carne flavored with chili powder, onions, maybe tomatoes or cumin, you will be disappointed in this flavorless excuse for chili. If you love it, more power to you. It takes all kinds. There's no hate here. Tomato/Tomahto, as the song goes. The good news is we now know we don't like it and it doesn't matter we live hundreds of miles away. We won't miss it. SO, even though I have given Skyline a poor review, I do encourage you to try it for yourself. Maybe you'll like it, like so many others. Maybe you'll feel sick, still hungry, and lamenting your choice, like us. It'll be like a game!
Gotta hit Skyline at least once while I'm in town, right? It's not for everybody, but I like it. This trip I went with a 5-Way and a Coney. Good stuff. The service was great, and the food was exactly what it was supposed to be: a unique chili on spaghetti with shredded cheese, onions and beans. Belly full.
