Was in town for the night, went here because it was right across the street from the hotel. Wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing. The service was friendly and the fresh bread was epic! Couldn't ask for more!

Must admit a personal fail: this is my second Tim here and only one check-in! I was slacking last time! I failed to check-in as I was so distracted by the best marinara sauce in KY or the amazing looking dessert cooler. This is a nice and neat Italian mini-chain. They've got quite a few restaurants in the south east. Its a bit cookie cutter on the decor. The bar is nice and welcoming but the white walls with bare minimum coverage leaves some to be desired. But....this is a small town. Its very impressive when you take that into consideration. You walk in the door and you're mouth instantly starts watering as you pass the dessert cooler. Check the pics on Yelp....you'll see what I mean. You're greeted at your table with delicious warm bread and some of the best marinara one can find. Perfect balance of chunk to sauce ratio. I typically like my sauce extra chunky....but this is great to dip with. Vegan options are of course scarce as with all restaurants in the area. Yet, you can modify one of the many vegetarian options to easily accommodate. I don't think they have many GF options.

Mediocre Italian. Appears to b popular w/ locals. Bread was warm, soft but not tasty. The marinara sauce very thin and not tasty. Chicken parm was good per husband. Baked rigatoni was only warmed ....but waitress very nice about taking it back to b "rebaked". The dessert opportunities looked AWESOME ....but I did not want the calories.

I've traveled all over the country, this is close to where I live, I love the service , all servers are nice and prompt, the managers really take pride in this restaurant. The food is more Greek Italian than anything, big portions and excellent taste. This might sound funny but they do have some of the best French fries I've ever had, hands down. I'm a big fan of the gyro , egg plant Parmesan , and all of their pizzas. Decent beer selection not huge, but for small town , it's a great overall restaurant, I highly recommend.

Nice atmosphere & service, but not bad food! Have been multiple times and have yet to get anything good. The marinara sauce they bring you with breadsticks tastes like weak tomato soup. Not worth the trip/money in my opinion!

Huge menu and dessert selection! We were very pleased with our meal and dessert! Both were excellent! Great service, pleasant atmosphere. Will be back when in the area!

Horrible tasting lasagna! The noodles were mushy and gross. The meat was like the filling you would have in canned ravioli. Service matched the food unfortunately... Our waitress was never available to refill our water (not even once!), it took her literally 20 mins to bring us our check and that was AFtER she passed by us twice WITH the bill in her hand.

Excellent food! Friendly service. Had lobster ravioli, which was awesome! Delicious handmade breadsticks. The best desert selection anywhere. A must try. 4 stars. Baklava was superb.. Yum Yum!

The good thing is. The service was really good. However, the baked lasagna was not. I'm pretty sure it was a frozen meal. The meat inside was the same meat in a can of ravioli. Not good....

Who would've known in Glascow Ky? Canneloni w/ meatballs - awesome! Homemade bread & salad. All for $13.95!

Environment and food weren't great. The decor is pretty average, but the problem was really the proximity to other customers. Everyone is so packed together in the center area that it just felt uncomfortable. As for the food, it was pretty meh. My boyfriend and I ordered salads with a soup after losing our appetite for heavier meals from the guests right next to us. My salad was alright, very colorful and clean, but hard to mess up. My boyfriend's tuscan salad had old peppers and tough chicken though. Both our soups were kind of oily and tasted pretty bland, so we passed on them. Overall, I can't speak for their main entrees, but from our experience the salads seem to be pretty hit and miss, and they really need to spread the people out a little better.

Wow! We have now frequented this restaurant three times and have had not only excellent service, but the food is fresh and delicious as well as plentiful! Always great lunch specials, i.e. yesterday was a choice of three paninis with soup and fried for less than $7.00! We both wound up taking a "to go" container home. And the deserts! These are the BIGGEST slices of cake and pie we have ever seen! We love this place. I notice some people think it's a bit crowded, and the tables are close, but not any more so than most restaurants.

I went again the other day during lunchtime. The waitress was very forgetful or not around at all. I had a question about an item - for some reason she couldn't figure it out herself - brought over the manager/(owner, I believe). AND. HE. WAS. A. COMPLETE. ASSHOLE. TOTALLY DISMISSIVE AND RUDE. I WILL NEVER, NOR WILL MY FAMILY OR ANYONE ELSE IF I CAN HELP IT - patronize this restaurant ever again.

Okay, here is the real test of a good restaurant. My entire family is vegan. The staff went to the max trying to accommodate our special diet. They even took me in the back to show me the ingredients and even made a special spaghetti. Thank you!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
