Great food, service and prices!!! They make all of the sauces in house. Best Chinese food I have had in a long time.

The first time I had food from here I called to see if they delivered and I don't think they actually do, but the owner said he would drive the food over to my house. Great service! Food is great, I had the General Tso's chicken and for once at a chinese restaurant the chicken was all white meat and the vegetables(mushrooms, baby corn, water chestnut, and onions) were very fresh. I'd say the price is a little higher then your typical chinese restaurant but it's totally worth it.

I went here for a banquet, so if you're looking for somewhere to host a banquet they do have a nice area with about six large round tables. The food was served family style at each table with several options...service was great too.

Wow, who would know that you have to travel to tiny Georgetown in Scott county, Kentucky to find some of the best American Chinese food anywhere. The place looks like a dump, but don't let that scare you. The cars in the parking lot are decent and it reflects the town. Inside, eh, nothing special, but not dirty. I suggest you visit soley for the good food. The menu was rather large, I enjoyed the sesame chicken. The true test of a good Chinese restaurant--their entrees, and Plum Tree doesn't disappoint. Perhaps the best take on sesame chicken I've enjoyed in the US. Their sauce was just right...not too heavy, not too light...and it was on the sweet side. Too many places tend to over-spice their sesame. Service was a little overworked, but we were never ignored. Very thorough and correct with the orders. I can't wait to return.

This was my favorite restaurant during my years at Georgetown College. I ate here recently and was reminded why I loved it. The menu is full of superb Asian options. Each entree is made with fresh ingredients and a good amount of care. The owners and waitstaff are lovely people who will engage you in a friendly chat. The atmosphere is pleasant and calming, and changes seasonally. I recommend General Tso's chicken. Also yummy is walnut shrimp with the white/clear sauce, not the brown. The add-on options complete a meal with appetizers, rice, and soup. This place gives a great deal for high-quality Asian fare.

4 out of 5 stars. The service and food here is excellent. You really couldn't ask for better in those departments. The music that plays in the back ground isn't the pan flute or lap guitar that you would be use to in an asian restaurant, but instead it was....Pat Benatar...WTF? lol The atmosphere here is nice calming and very quite. They could use from a nice makeover/ facelift. The decor is BAD and the little tables and the old school chairs need some TLC. But it is a great joint to go to. I think it is my new Asian place to eat in Gtown. Stop in and give them a chance, but ignore the decor. LOL

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
