Reviews:
This restaurant was recommended to us so we gave it a try. It was a nice change from the fast food and pizza we had been eating on our road trip. All the sandwiches sounded really good so we opted for the mini sliders so we could taste a bunch of them. The steak sandwich was the best but they were all very good. We also had the antipasto plate and a bourbon flight which both were great as well. There was an error on our bill which was fixed quickly once brought to ourservers attention. I would differently eat here again if back in town
Restaurant was clean and attractive in design. Great music playing at good level. Food was OK- not the best but not the worst either. Rare steak was undercooked n closer to raw. Brisket taco was juicy n pretty good n chips were good. Best part of meal was the bread pudding- absolutely delicious and super big portion for the price. Portion sizes over all were generous. Service was a bit slow and place was not busy at the time. Overall a nice alternative for dinner.
I ran across Hudson Hollow on Yelp - realized it was a restaurant - and decided to check it out with the hubby. If it wasn't for the obscure location and signage I would have spotted this restaurant when it opened late last year! (So thanks for your reviews fellow Yelpers.) Inside the ambience is cool. Very clean, bright and open bar/restaurant. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday we both were off work. We were the first to arrive but a solid lunch crowd soon formed. We sat at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered WOODCHUCK Gumption hard cider on TAP ($4.50). Sam Adams seasonal was $4.00 on tap. Nice bar - but if you are into Spirits try not to be too deterred by the bottle displays behind the bar. On one top shelf was Kahlua and Buffalo Trace was top shelf on the other side. Knob Creek was nestled onto the middle shelf so I'm thinking they must be placing the taller bottles on the top just for spacing. (Of course Buffalo Trace is just down the road.) Woodford was top shelf as well but in the heart of Bourbon Country I assumed they would have more variety. *Hudson Hollow also offers well priced bourbon flights.* Our bartender/server, Sean, was awesome! He provided solid recommendations and was just chatty enough. He raved for the Reuben so the hubby opted for the Sliders which included the REUBEN, Cuban and their burger. He agreed the Reuben was one of the best he'd ever had. I ordered the burger and sweet potato which also proved to be a good choice. We will definitely return to Hudson Hollow SOON. In fact, we may have just found our local bar! POSITIVE: FINALLY a moderately priced, good independent/local restaurant and bar in Frankfort! We can now give Serafini's a bit of a break. The food was FRESH and of GOOD QUALITY. On two occasions I'd noticed the Creation Gardens food delivery service in front of what I now know to be this restaurant. (First hint there may be a restaurant behind that truck! HA!) The bar area has a multitude of seating options and TVs to catch sporting events. It is divided well so you don't feel like you are necessarily eating in a bar. Too bad we didn't find this place the night before or we would have been there for the Women's World Cup Finals. NEGATIVE: Again the signage/front advertising. It's a bit hard to tell if Hudson Hollow is a restaurant or knock off Porter Paint. Apparently the 'Open' sign is a new addition. The location isn't the best but who knows... maybe it will revive the area and become a cornerstone of some new Frankfort foodie row. (I shall dream!) RECOMMENDATION: How about offering breakfast on the weekends? Oh how we miss having a good brunch place nearby. (And Rick's White Lightening is completely overrated.)

LongHorn Steakhouse

Reviews:
Just had lunch at 1pm and it was the freshest food I have ever gotten here. Wait staff was a one star in personality but the food quality made up for it. Most of the time the food is Applebee's quality reheated crap. But today it was great
Steaks are best in comparison to choice or select cuts from grocery stores, Definitely not prime like your upscale places. Been here two to three times due to work and the steaks are less then an inch think. To mask the average cut in meat they drench their steaks in butter, chives, and other weird sauces. If you're looking for an average steak at decent prices then this is the place to go along with outback or Texas land and cattle.
Excellent food. I keep asking myself why I would spend $75 for a steak at Del Frisco's when I can have this good of a ribeye here. OK, it may be the wine list and ambiance at Del Frisco's and it may also be that my clients at the time would have been nearly as impressed. My steak was perfect. Medium Rare and so tender. The baked potato was awesome. I know, a baked potato, right? It was fluffy and tasty. We had the wild west shrimp as an appetizer and it was very good. I have always liked The Texas Roadhouse for a budget steakhouse but this was better.

This Starbucks rules!!!! I called (long story) at 7:45am asking for 11 traveler boxes of coffee by 8:30am. Even though it was their busiest time of day, they said they would make us as many boxes as possible before 8:30am. Each box contains between 8 and 12 cups of coffee. I expected three or four, the same amount the other location promised. I was stunned when we arrived and found they had made seven traveler boxes! They exceeded my expectations, were super friendly and helpful, and saved the day.
The staff is friendly and they have a lot of knowledge when it comes to ordering speciality drinks. I always have a wonderful experience when I go there.
Great service when taking my order but then they forgot to fix the sandwich I ordered. I waited 20 min before saying anything just in case. But casting that aside the Bacon Gouda egg sandwich made a nice light lunch. The Artisan bread was very fresh and crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy bread on inside. Great combo bacon and Gouda!!! Went perfectly with my double latte

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I'm a local and I go here all the time. FAST SERVICE AND YUMMY FOOD! EVERYTIME. I choose this place over any other foreign restaurant in town. Pineapple chicken is my fav!!!!!!
First, let me state clearly that I am a Thai food enthusiast. Every time I find a new restaurant I start with the Pad See Ew then move from there. Good Pad See Ew is not as easy to make as it would seem. The perfect Pad See Ew will have noodles that are firm but not "al dente", a rich color, a smoky flavor that seems a little burnt, crispy broccoli in bite-size cuts, small slices of carrot, and liberal quantities of egg that is not overcooked to crispness. This is just like, my opinion, man, but there it is. But on to the review. The store resides in a nondescript, decaying plaza with great potholes and empty storefronts. The interior is very dimly lit, perhaps to hide the threadbare decor and less-than-sanitary conditions. No worries, mate, it's a restaurant in a strip mall, so what do you expect? A very unenthusiastic staff member seated me at a table that could use a good cleaning. There were rings from drinks glasses and something a bit sticky at my setting. I ordered the pad see ew as you might expect and asked for the spice tray, as I am wont to do (does anyone actually use that word? I felt the need to be erudite and well spoken...did it work?). The "spice tray" consisted of a bowl of Chinese chili in oil, nothing I would consider putting on any actual food anywhere, anytime. I began to have my doubts. I asked for some dry chili pepper and received some standard italian red pepper broken, not crushed, with lots of seeds and stems. A "fresh" spring roll arrived shortly laden with enough oil to lube an Abrams tank. I left it on the plate, untouched as I am not through using my coronary arteries. Definitely I began to feel some concern about the approaching meal. It arrived promptly. However, even at first glance I could see that it was not well made. There were four or five borderline raw, full-sized broccoli "florets" that I had trouble cutting. They were as warm as a kitten, but I don't eat kittens and I like hot food. The noodles varied in consistency between dissipated mush and clumps of pasty goo. The sauce was terribly sweet and had the consistency of simple syrup with a touch of soy, which I suppose it was. There was no flavor at all other than sugar. I asked for fish sauce to kill the sweetness and received about one half teaspoon in a small stainless cup. I added the entire contents to about one-fifth of my meal and got it down. I immediately regretted my decision, asked for the check, and hit the door. Now, I am reluctant to declare that a restaurant is "bad" or "good" on one visit. All of us have or days of varying success. This is why I added the second star. The staff were prompt and followed the forms of courtesy, albeit with no enthusiasm or cheerfulness. Again, I cannot judge on a single visit, but I report here my experience. If you choose to visit, I hope your experience is better. I cannot give my recommendation that you try it, but maybe they just had a bad day so, use your own judgment based on all the reviews, not just mine.
I've had pretty awesome Thai food in my days and as you may notice, I might try a place a few times before I give a final verdict. This place gets crowded with the locals during lunch rush. The locals like it a lot. Personally, after visiting four times and ordering four different things, I've concluded that this place serves salty and bland food that doesn't have much aroma. My meat arrived as if it was pan boiled and neither it nor the vegetables had sauce covering it. The food didn't seem to be cooked with the sauce. I tried, but no thanks. On a positive note: Staff and service were nice. Thai tea was good too.

Reviews:
This is such a local gem! I had my wedding at Buffalo Trace and the next morning 20ish of my friends from Chicago and other cities joined us for late brunch/lunch. This restaurant handled our large table with ease and the food was fantastic! All my friends still rave about this place! It's so charming, wonderfully decorated, and the service is great. I had the pimento cheese sandwich which came topped with bacon. Bacon! So so good. Everyone in our party loved the food. Thanks for a memorable lunch with our closest friends!
Sage is a fresh cafe done right! I have dined here several times, and carried out when I couldn't stop, and I have always been happily surprised by the fresh ingredients and careful preparation. I love the space - open and inviting - and I love the food here. I have eaten delicious chicken salad sandwiches (where chicken was the true star, not the mayonnaise!) freshly made on thick, fluffy slices of house-made bread. I have eaten delicious angel hair pasta with a sundried tomato pesto that was so good I asked for the recipe. I have eaten a salmon sandwich with beautifully moist and flavorful fish, perfectly seasoned, and, more than once, I have grabbed a bag of hand made garlic crackers and eaten them with fresh pimento cheese and a perfect piece of fruit. Sage is well worth the extra ten minutes it takes to get here from Midway or Frankfurt, and I can't say enough about the quality of the food. Their menu offers salads and desserts, as well as fresh soups and sandwiches, and they do boxed lunches for groups and events. Sage is a healthy alternative to miles of fast food offerings, and my new go-to place for lunch :-)
Delicious sandwiches, real ingredients. In the midst of all the greasy, fried offerings of Frankfort, Sage fills the gap by offering sandwiches made with fresh produce (Sage Cafe is part of Wilson Nurseries) and bread made from scratch. I recommend any sandwich made with their sourdough bread - it's AWESOME. It is so fluffy and flavorful. They sell it by the loaf, which I may try one day. Everyone I work with loves the roast beef sandwich. I don't eat meat so the caprese sandwich and a tomato soup is good for me! The tuna sandwich is good too. Also, unlike a lot of non-chains in Frankfort, Sage is open 11-3 to on Sundays! Food on the weekend - yay! The only drawback I'd say is it's not as cheap as getting that other aforementioned fried stuff Frankfort has, so it's a little too pricey to go to all the time. And it can get crowded during lunchtime. You can call in orders to pick up though, which is nice. It's located on the East-West connector, away from Frankfort's other clusters of restaurants, but I highly recommend venturing out there and giving it a try.

My family loves Pizza Inn! We order delivery more than fine in, but it's great either way. Delivery and pick up is always timely and the pizza has a unique flavor that we all enjoy. The service is great and the owners are so friendly.
Every time I come to Pizza Inn, I am always happy. They have a nice salad bar, always two soups to pick from, pasta bar and of course a pizza buffet. They keep about 12 different types of pizza on the buffet and will make any request you have. I love the pizza but the crust could use improvement. It is one of the better pizza buffets I have been to. There are 5 different dessert pizzas to pick from as well. State employees get a discount.
Pizza buffet is delicious, there deserts are heavenly I especially love the cinnamon treats and chocolate chip cookie pizza really good food and wings. I would recommend eating here
