Awesome. The best fish I've ever eaten plain and simple. The service was great friendly fast. Restaurant was very clean and nice.

Roxie's is a small cafe/restaurant with standard American food. Soup/salad/sandwich combos for decent price and a full breakfast menu. We went in a group of 4. Their hummus and pita was excellent. The Justice Burger is a hit. My sandwich "the club" had some amazingly delicious candied bacon on it. Why not 5 stars? My 'Pepper Gouda Soup' kind of tasted like pizza sauce. My friend's pasta was also lukewarm and needed more time to heat. I ended up enjoying the soup even though it was odd, and they made a brand new pasta in minutes and reserved it fresh. Staff was very friendly and cool.

Great food at a reasonable price. The wait staff is wonderful. It can be a little noisy at peak times but otherwise a good choice.

Everything was excellent!!! It was a little hard to find (because I drove passed it lol)...My advice is to park behind the justice building. Justice burger with real deal thick cut bacon!!! Baked mac and cheese was super cheesy and the sweet potato casserole was awesome. Before you leave you must get the Kentucky bourbon pecan pie...heavenly

So I went there for the first time last week. Had the Justice Burger, wife had a flat iron steak. Pretty good - concur with the wife's earlier 4 stars.

My bf and I were in town to meet halfway between Michigan and Georgia, staying at the LaQuinta on Commerce Drive. We had a Cracker Barrel right next to us but didn't want to eat at a chain. We stopped at Roxie's for breakfast, and despite being short a hostess and having an ENTIRE girl's soccer team in front of us, we got our food at a good pace and the waitress was SO friendly--always smiling! As for the food, I got the veggie omelette which came with toast and hashbrowns, and the omelette was HUGE!!! Loaded with good veggies and cheese! Soooo glad we didn't go to Cracker Barrel! My bf got one with meat and he was equally impressed.

I am a repeat visitor to Roxie's and have to admit, I come back for the quality of food. The portions are definitely on the overly generous size and the food is always fresh. The service is always a bit on the slow side, but the staff is always friendly.

I stopped here based on the reviews from Mammoth Cave back home, and I had to say it clearly was going to be a 5 star experience, but there was just two minor things that personally didn't bother me, but I know could have taken away from other's experience. Let me first off say the staff at this location is extremely friendly, and they clean the tables as soon as people leave. They kept my drinks filled, I never had one ounce of issue with the service, they were always aware if you needed something. The place is amazingly clean. And there was a steady stream of folks coming in out. I ordered the Deluxe Justice burger medium well, all the trimmings and a side of the french fries. The waitress advised me that the birder was done, but it would be 3 more minutes on the fries, and asked if I would like to get started on the burger or wait. I opted to take the burger now, and she went and brought it right out, it was delicious! Everything seemed fresh and it was a good size. The fries came out in about 2 to 3 minutes, they are of what I almost considered a battered fry, they were crispy on the outside and nice on the inside, they were good as well. Now this is where I thought I would take ,maybe .2 or .3 of a star off cause they did not time the fries and burger perfectly. But I appreciate total honesty and giving me the option to take the burger ahead of time to start enjoying it while it was hot. So I don't think probably would have bothered many.... However, I did order the bacon on the burger, which was the best cooked/flavored bacon I had on a burger in a long time, but the menu said to add $1.50 for the bacon. But I had noticed on the bill I was charged $2.00 for it. I questioned it and they corrected it, but I know some people would have been upset to find that they were overcharged. They apologized and appreciated me bringing it to their attention. Like I said this may have upset somebody more then it did me. But these two things were the only reason I decided to go for 4 stars. Friendliness, cleanliness and Food taste, 5 stars all the way. I am sure I will revisit someday, and if things are all well that visit, I will be happy to bring up to 5 stars!

Everything about this place is awesome but just be prepared for a long wait. The servers are really wonderful, so friendly and high energy. The group I went with ordered a wide variety of dishes- big fresh salads, the burgers, and chocolate chip pancakes. We like going here and they are very nice to our children, but again, the long wait time will keep us from going more often.

While in Elizabethtown for a soccer tournament, we tried Roxie's based on other reviews I read on Yelp. My family and I were not disappointed. I had the Grilled Chicken Ciabatta sandwich with corn nuggets, which were both delicious. My son ordered the kids' pancake, which was huge, and my husband had the Justice Burger with Mac and cheese. The topper, however, was dessert. My husband and I shared a piece of the Kentucky Bourbon Pecan Pie, and it was amazing! The service was also very friendly and quick. Highly recommend! Roxie's will be a must-stop the next time we're in town.

Hands down, terrific. We were traveling for a soccer tournament and wanted to try something local. The high ratings Roxie's has are well-deserved. My 10-year-old son really liked the spaghetti with meat sauce and I had the veggie omelette with a side of bacon. There's something for everyone here and the staff is VERY friendly.

WOW! On our road trip from IL to FL and back, we have two dining missions: *try not to eat at chain restaurants, instead favoring local businesses (unless it's a chain we don't have at home) *try a milkshake every time we have dinner and see who has the best We found Roxie's via Yelp after facing the prospects of having to violate mission #1 as there were only the typical off-Interstate prospects near our motel. It was an easy 5-minute drive from said motel, and soooooo worth it! Two of the kids had the "justice burger" and gave it a double thumbs-up. One kid had a pancake with chocolate syrup - another YUM review. One had the baked pasta and said it was particularly tasty, and that the bread was terrific. I had the fried chicken (so I could satisfy MY personal mission to have fried chicken in Kentucky...ha....haha...) salad; the ingredients were very fresh, the spicy pecans were a great twist, and the chicken was as delicious as I hoped. As it is the first milkshake of the trip, I don't know yet how it compares. ;) What really won hands-down was the fruit lemonades....we tried the strawberry and the hidden menu item, blueberry lemonade. Oh. My. Word. We have NEVER had lemonade that good, with REAL fruit and no artificial flavoring. Ask for Windell - best customer service ever. If he doesn't manage to coax a smile out of you, you have a cold heart indeed. Go to Roxie's: eat well, tip well, leave happy. :)

This place is fantastic! The food was awesome. We had a make-your-own wrap, roasted red pepper soup (soup of day), chicken philly sandwich and Mac N Cheese. Food was really really good. Server's name on my receipt said Twalisa. If that is her name she was wonderful. Super nice and really friendly - greeting every customer as they walked in. So happy to find this place after driving all morning from Chicago.

My first time at Roxie's and I have to say I loved it. I was instantly greeted and made to feel welcome. The waitress was helpful in me deciding on what to eat. The food was fresh and I love the mac and cheese! Very cheesy. The place is very clean and the prices are reasonable. I wish I could have had room for dessert but the food filled me up. You won't go hungry here.

I judge this place on the completely ordinary, if not familiar atmosphere that totally threw me for a loop when I put that first bite of chicken philly sandwich in my mouth. Twelve hours later and I'm still happy I wasn't disappointed. Were those two ergonomic, warm, fluffy moist rolls homemade? The chicken-pepper-cheese fillings of both texturally pleasing sandwich halves were neither too heavy nor too light. And the side of fries was perfectly battered and crispy and delightful and satisfying.

Great food! Are there twice while in town. They hosted our baseball team, we took over the whole place and they were fabulous about it. Good variety of food and friendly staff.

I can't believe that this place wasn't packed. Great service, EXCELLENT food. Kids were treated well. My burger was cooked to perfection and seasoned so well I didn't want to put anything on it. Worth going out of our way for.

The staff is ALWAYS friendly and the food is always good! Not far from the house so it's within perfect distance!!! Go there at least 2x a month!!!

The reviews were dead on! The food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. We walked in at 7:30 with closing time being at 8. The waiter did not have an attitude over it at all. I had the 2/$12.00 1/2 gourmet antipasta salad and 1/2 order Mediterranean pasta. Both were excellent. My husband had the dry rub jerk wing ding platter with baked macaroni and cheese. He was well satisfied. A very small town atmosphere in a big city. Would love to have the opportunity to return and try more menu options.

Very friendly staff. Between us we had a pancake, club sandwich, Philly sub, Mac in cheese and sweet potato casserole. It was all good,

The establishment was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I ordered the justice burger cooked medium and it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. If I had one small gripe, it would be with their hummus and pita bread. Lots of hummus. Very little bread. So you're left with a full bowl of hummus and nothing left to eat it with. Overall, I plan on going back and trying their other menu items.

Drive the extra 7 minutes, it's well worth it!! Staff has excellent sense of customer service, the BEST hush puppies and the corn nuggets? Who knew such a thing existed? And it's clean!

All I wanted on the last leg of a long road trip was a tasty soup and sandwich with a nice cup of coffee. Didn't think Elizabethtown would have that. But lol and behold, I got my wish and then some at Roxie's. Delicious homemade soup (red pepper Gouda) and a tasty wrap made to order. My husband had the salmon with a cornbread side that was sweet and yummy. Excellent and made with love all round. Coffee was decent too!

Totally worth coming off the highway for a light dinner. Catfish sandwich was seasoned to perfection. The fried chicken salad had fresh leaf lettuce with yummy pecans. The grilled chicken ciabatta was just different enough to put a smile on my face. Not fine dining, but fine food (as mentioned by another review) is accurate. The service was working hard to please. Will try to come back.

Stopped here on a road trip because of the yelp reviews. It did not disappoint. The fried fish was excellent and the steak was well seasoned and juicy. The real winner was the mac and cheese, very gooey and cheesy. Also the pecan pie was a great way to end the meal. Definitely beats a chain any day.

Needed a quick dinner on the road from Nashville to Morgantown, and randomly happened upon Roxies, in the heart of downtown Elizabethtown, KY. Glad we did! Red pepper Gouda soup, very very good. Grilled chicken ciabatta sandwich was stupendous. Chicken was marinated in something delicious! And the antipasto salad chock full of delicious meats and veggies! Combine that with friendly, attentive service! What a great little spot!

Deluxe Justice Burger w/Bacon is amazing! My wife loved the baked pasta. Sweet potato fries are the one of the best I've had. Great service, nice little place a little bit off the interstate. Good size portions.

Very cute place! Just off the square in Elizabethtown, this adorable justice-themed restaurant has very kind and friendly staff! A great stop on our roadtrip to Nashville, easy to find and parking was no issue. Food was good for the most part!

Very excellent food. Great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very clean and very good decor. Oh their bacon, it was AMAZING. It was sweet pepper bacon that was crispy and decadent. I would recommend this to anyone. They have a large selection and good portions. I will be back

Restaurant was clean and wait staff was very friendly... My boyfriend had the justice burger and I had the baked pasta . I would highly recommend both. Only issue we had was both of us wanted sweet tea and they were out and it was noon, does no one know how to make more tea?

On our way to Louisville we were looking for an unique restaurant away from fast food. Stopped by and was pleasantly surprised. Wonderful food along with great friendly manager. I had the fried fish with hush puppies. The fish was lightly breaded and fresh.

Roxie's in Elizabethtown,Ky is superb! The food taste home cooked. I got the club sandwich which was cooked to perfection. The waitress was friendly and efficient. This restaurant is not a corporate chain. So I'm honored to support it. Go Roxie's

What to say first about the most recent addition to Etown's fairly limited landscape of local independent restaurants?...Even with the learning curve inherent for a new place, a fairly young (and I'm guessing inexperienced) staff, this place legitimately falls between three and four stars with their service and food, a few weeks after they opened. Some things, like how they take out the garbage, the intra-staff conversations that wouldn't ideally happen in the dining area, will hopefully sort themselves out, if Roxie's hopes to be more than an informal coffee and sandwich / brekkie shop. I could start with the obvious: though the dining is fine, it's not "fine dining," not even a little. But that's fine, since it's a lot more fine & creative than you can otherwise dine on in Elizabethtown. And it's not as though there aren't a lot of "fine" facets to dining here over other local dining establishments: fine-r glass glasses, fine-r serviceware, a just fine clean and simple interior aimed at function instead of over-wrought, country fra-fra or inevitably dusty kitsch. A fair amount of thought seems to have gone into planning the space to be just fine to dine. Or that the staff was friendly, helpful, and customer-oriented on all of my recent visits. The sort-it-yourself options (non-grilled panini, wraps, pizza, calzone, for example) are good and able to suit many tastes. More structured menu items also offer a variety of tastes and unique flavors. Also: breakfast all day! Yipee!!! And yummah. Various sides are available for selection with most single meal items, especially when the daily special sides (at least some of which have an upcharge) are considered. Have tried the fries, the rings, and the mac & cheese so far, and would order each again. Food was fresh and not the least bit tasting of canned crap or reheated blah. I can attest to their take-away working smoothly. This is going to be my go-to when I work late and don't have the energy to cook an actual meal - or it would be, if they were open past 7pm. Their pastas and entrees seem (at least from what I've tried and from descriptions) to be real food - not just junk. My most significant issue with Roxie's is a bit...well, ironic, given that the spot is named after the owner, a local lawyer named Roxanne, given the facility (and specificity) with language that lawyers demonstrate. Their menu is in serious need of a graphic designer with menu expertise and a reviewer who can reconcile what they actually want to serve (or let customers know they can request). The whole "Words! They mean stuff!!!" bit seems to have eluded folks sometime between developing the menu and service. In the US, for example, a panini is anticipated to be a pressed / grilled sandwich; theirs (seemingly, at least what I was served) was not. Pasta shapes aren't paired effectively with their preparations (but the pasta is better cooked than anything else available locally). The menu is...well...badly edited, both grammatically & w/r/t word choice (which is not impacting my rating - but SERIOUSLY???? "Artesian" bread, eh? Really? Double face palm.) and in terms of selection / ordering ease. Menu is not easy to navigate, is very incomplete (at least as far as what I gather from asking servers about what options are available for the dishes I'm ordering), and has maddening statements like "pick any sauce on this menu" (???? Gah!!!! Ordering something I will enjoy should not be a "Where's Waldo" experience). Regardless, I look forward to many future meals, take-away or in-house. Roxie's is one fine place to dine. ;-) ETA: In case it wasn't clear, originally, Roxie's was listed as a fine dining establishment. This has since been changed.
