I drive 25 miles to eat at this Moe's. This location is the best I've ever been to. Moe's honors my bariatric surgery "card", meaning I can order from the children's menu.

I love Moe's. But this one in particular I've had 2 bad experiences. A few days ago I ordered the John Cocastan with rice and a cup of queso to go. The rice was so hard, i had to scrape it all of when I got home. Sour cream was very watery. The girl put my chips in a to go box with my quesadilla on top. When I got home all the chips (there were very few) were all crunched up and broken. And then my cup of queso was only filled up half way!! When I was paying, one of the teenage boy said to the girl ringing me up "did you see what so and so did to the salsa." She walked over to the salsa and started laughing. Which made me nervous so I didn't get any salsa.

Horrible experience! My rice was hard as a brick. They didn't even offer to replace my meal.

Great meal, unnecessarily confusing for those that don't know the lingo. What's wrong with saying: burrito, it has to be Joey Bag of Donuts, or something else besides burrito. Of all the different salsas none really stand out & say I'm great & the chips are too thin for my liking, I prefer the Mexican restaurant chips, little thicker. It's a good atmosphere & the BURRITO was good, maybe just not my thing. It's a 4 star because of the atmosphere & the burrito was good.

Good burritos, but.... Sadness. They changed the $5 burrito meal deal. It all day now, but it doesn't include a free drink. :( I find this lame. I'm sure it only cost you like 15-25 cents a cup.

Let me start by saying I typically love Moe's service and food quality. However, the 1617 n Dixi hwy, Elizabethtown Kentucky location is under the worst management. In fact it seems at any particular time there is no management on shift. About 2 months ago my husband and I went in for lunch during the week, around 1230, and they served him what was left of the steak which was very little and dry and chewy. They supplemented with other meat because they hadn't even started cooking the next batch of steak yet. There chicken was almost gone And it too was dry and chewy. They also were out of lemonade and I asked for it to be refilled and they never got to it while I was there. After that experience we were turned off by the location but tonight we tried it again for dinner figuring there is no way it would happen again. Wrong! There was just a little scoop and that was dry and chewy again. My son already had his power wagon made before I noticed the quality of the meat. When he went to eat it he said it was only good for dogs, he is 3 yrs. I refused the meat on my home wrecker because there was so little and got the pork which was flavorless and watery. I asked if there was more steak almost done and they said no we are cooking chicken right now and then we will get the steak on. After the meat nonsense I asked for black beans, no black beans, so I got the pinto beans which they didn't drain enough before they put it on my burrito so the end of my burrito was very watery. I guess I got the last of the chips because I just got a bunch of broken pieces. The trash cans were full and the bathrooms were dirty. This store is poorly maintained and run. There were a bunch of young boys working and no one really seemed to know what was going on. I don't think my family will be eating at Moe's again anytime soon if this is the type of quality we can expect. Maybe one of the other burrito places in town actually has manager on duty at all times.

A great place for lunch. I usually get a pork taco salad. Comes with chips. There is a selection of free salsa, and of course the cool soda machine where you can mix in flavors. I come here about once a month and have never been disappointed.

Yum!! The menu was a bit overwhelming but the food was incredible! It was like that other fast food Mexican restaurant that is open late and is always questioned on where their ingredients come from but when you are hungry at 2 am and you only have couch change that's where you go... but Moe's has plenty of various fresh really fresh ingredients, you can actually taste the freshness! I liked having all the different choices of toppings, meats or vegetarian, mix & match how ever you want it! that was awesome! The portion size is pretty good as well. I got two tacos and some nachos and ended up taking half the nacho's and 1 1/2 taco's home with me. Plus I was able to take home a little cup of all the different fresh salsa's they had to go with my chips that were actually NOT stale. It was nice...yes they are somewhat thin but I rather have fresh chips than stale old ones no matter their thickness. My fiance got the steak "crunchwrap" and it was an inch thick with whole bunch of toppings and he really liked it. We both got large drinks and it came with a side of chips and we spent $27 for the both of us. Not too bad for all that we got. I highly recommend eating here!!

Moe's is one of my favorite places to go for a burrito. Whenever I am in E-town and don't have a lot of time for lunch Moe's never fails to deliver something fast and delicious. The restaurant is kept clean and and the crew there is friendly and when they say, "Welcome to Moe's" they still sound welcoming. Other Moe's locations I have been to when they say it it just sounded like the crew was barely awake or could care less about saying. Is it corny? You bet, but if its one of the things restaurant chain is known for just do it like it your getting paid too. Enough soapbox. Overall this place does things right. It is right off the highway and has a good amount of parking out front. That's why this particular Moe's gets 5 stars in my book.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
