What can I say that hasn't been said before? We Love Gold Star Chili! The Chili is spicy and meaty. They give you lots of Shredded Cheese on your spaghetti and coneys! The food is always fresh and hot! We go to the Crescent Springs location. Everyone there always has a smile on their face and says hello and goodbye. Gold Star Chili is #1 for us and we could eat there every day LOL.
I'm not from the area but I love eating at Gold Star. Grubbin' on a burrito right now and it's mighty good. Check this place out especially if you're from out of town.

I love stopping in here! It has a nice small town feel, and every single member if the staff is very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches and dinner entrees are very good, just call ahead for the dinners or there won't be any left! If you're a person that likes to cook or host parties, you could do your whole grocery list (food items) here and you'd be getting good quality items. Some things may be a bit more expensive than at the larger box stores, but not by much, and in exchange you get more personal service and better quality products.
Great sandwiches Lunch and dinner to go Homemade fudge See pics Salami spread, cajun crab spread very good too
Kremers Market! I would describe Kremers Market as being the ninja master of deliciousness! They have everything you heart, stomach and "inner fatty" wants to eat all the time. Every time I go there, I spot something new, that I have to try. Last time I found ALE8 soda, who knew that the KY has their own soda plant, since 1926. I normally go there for my lunch and usually get a sandwich, which is awesome, does not matter what you get it is good! They also have a daily lunch special, which is almost always sold out when I get there. If I was a little more independently wealthy than I am today, I would probably shop all my groceries there and forget about Kroger. But for now, I am just happy this place is not in my neighbourhood because then I would be fat and slightly poor... ;-)

Love this place! Have eaten here about 10 times. Have had saag paneer, vindaloo, curry, and Tikka masala for entrees, all of which were fantastic. Tikka masala is probably my favorite. The Nan bread is very good, with the paneer Nan being my favorite. Dipping the Nan in the saag paneer is like heaven. The chicken always comes out tender as well as the lamb. Service can be slow sometimes but they are friendly. Highly recommend this place
Great food, fast service. Lunch buffet is a great value and you can try out new foods you wouldn't necessarily order a whole dish of. Never had a bad experience here.
Coming from New York, I was apprehensive about getting Indian food in the Midwest. I was pleasantly surprised to find a place where the quality is just about on par! Having only been here once I can't vouch for consistency, but it was definitely a top-notch experience. (They do have a few dishes with beef, so I'm not sure what that means in terms of authenticity or regional specialization. There's probably a reason for it that I don't know about.)

Clean, neat, fast, friendly service! Despite how busy this place is, they got our order right! That alone is impressive for a McDonalds. Their bathrooms were clean and neat and as we were just gassing up next door we came here to stretch our legs and were NOT disappointed. We ordered some snacks and let the kids run around in a busy but clean playroom.
I don't usually eat at mcdonalds but i was broke so i thought i'd try here. I ordered some new smokehouse burger that was supposed to cons with grilled onions and a small diet. I got a huge large pop, they messed up the burger and it cost over $7 fpr just that. When i asked if the pop was small i was told it was large and got the window shut on me. I ate it 20 min. Ago and now I feel sick. Never again!
Say what you will about McDonald's, but I have a soft spot for Egg McMuffins (and it's not my stomach). The drive-thru line is usually long here, but you'll be surprised by how fast they can get you through. I've tried to beat the long line of traffic several times by going in to the store itself, but have managed to best the drive-thru only once. The employees are courteous and the food quality is consistent.

Great service! As soon as we sat down they brought chips and salsa and took our drink order. Food was delicious and so were the margaritas. The food came out fast and hot and they have a great kids menu. I will definitely be going again. The bathrooms were even spotless.
I am SHOCKED by the negative reviews. My boyfriend and I go here almost weekly. When my parents are in town from NYC, they always want me to take them here. The service is fast. The food is great. Try the tamales and the Chilaquiles...great plates. The staff is alway so sweet. Occasionally, they have a Mariachi band that walks through the restaurant and stops at the tables to play great music. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Great food, great prices....oh and the Sangria is amazing.
This place is fantastic. If you see negative reviews check the dates like I did. Then go! I noticed the negative reviews were from a while back. Who knows, maybe they had some problems in the past. I absolutely LOVED the food and the service. The waiter was attentive. My food, veggie fajitas were piping hot and beautifully presented. The chips and salsa was great, as was the margarita. I have been to every Mexican restaurant in our area and this one is now the best so far and my new favorite. Lots of different veggies in the veggie fajitas without having to pay extra. GO!!!

We have been eating here for years and its always been a fantastic experience! The new digs over off of Buttermilk (across the street from where they used to be) are really nice! Very swanky decor in there now with a lot of space, which is nice because it was apparent for a while that their customer base had outgrown their space in the previous place. We have never had bad food or a bad service in this establishment. Their food is excellent! Some of the best sushi in NKY for sure!
Oh Sweet basil! If you're a fan of Asian food, looking for a new spot to try or want a quick lunch/dinner option check out sweet basil! Fresh, high quality and a great value. We tried the ginger chicken, beef/broccoli with curry, tom yum chicken and mushroom soup and the fried gyoza. All were prepared perfectly and the spice level of 7/10 on the entrées absolutely hit the spot! Highly recommend if you are in the area or if you are looking for an alternative to downtown/NKY lunch options.
They do a nice job taking care of you, but the nori was very dry, and the tuna was not firm. Only one sake in hot or cold. Order one of the more exotic rolls, they show they deficiencies with the basics. Better than grocery store sushi, but lacking in something. Had four rolls and none were very powerful. There's a better place down the street.

You know, i'm not really a big fan of chain restaurants, so I usually overlook this place, because I fear it will be boring and predictable, but seriously, this place doesn't disappoint. After being given a gift card for this restaurant group (Outback, Carrabas, & Bonefish are all available in our area), we opted to use it for Bonefish. Being new parents, the rare occasion for date night is a big deal too, and this place far exceeded our expectations. First of all, our server, Mike, was awesome. He had great recommendations to offer without being pushy, and we took them, because he seemed sincere, and really friendly, and they didn't disappoint. From the wine selection to the (off the menu) Razz topping for my Grouper, each recco he gave was stellar. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, which was awesome. A bed of greens with fried shrimp on top dressed with a perfect spicy mayonnaise-y sauce that'll make your nose run and leave you wanting more. My husband ordered the monkfish, which was a first and loved it. Mike said they feed on lobster, so they kind of taste like lobster, and it didn't disappoint. As I mentioned, I ordered the Grouper with the "Razz" toping, which included lump crab meat, tomatoes and spinach. It was a little piece of heaven. In between courses Mike brought us some complimentary Crab chowder, which was just fantastic, and oh-so nice of him. We'd definitely recommend going. We'll be back. And we'll definitely ask to sit in Mike's section again!
Always great! We got salad and three different appetizers, all amazing! Our server(mike?) was great! We needed a late night snack and they knocked it out of the park! Thanks guys!
Bonefish Grill is like a fancier Red Lobster. Here are the pros: 1. Nice, solid fish selection with several options for preparation. Pan Asian is my fav. 2. Food always tastes great and the specials are always interesting. 3. Excellent appetizers - especially the bang bang shrimp. Even the lettuce is great in that appetizer. 4. Great service - I've never had bad, unprofessional service here. And I've been here many a time. 5. Bathrooms are always clean - MAJOR PLUS! You can always tell the cleanliness of a restaurant by how clean their restrooms are. Here are the cons: 1. Sub-par non-seafood selection. Yes, it's a seafood place but... if you go there with friends and you aren't that into seafood, you have really limited options. Really limited. Like you have 3 things to pick from. And they aren't that healthy. 2. Parking is a pain in the butt, but you can park at the neighboring 5/3rd lot. 3. The revolving door is terrifying - it's completely blacked out and it feels like it's swallowing you alive for a brief few seconds. 4. Smallish dining area which means longish wait. Even if you go in the middle of the week. 5. They don't give you crayons anymore to draw on the paper on your table. Major bummer. The servers used to write their names on the end of the table on that paper and leave the crayons for customers to doodle with while they waited for food. I've never sat at the bar or had a drink from Bonefish so I'm not sure how that service is there. I have dined with people who have ordered drinks, though, and they always seemed very pleased with their choice and noted that the drinks were a little strong - which means a good value at least. Overall, if you go, I highly recommend doing call ahead (you'll probably still have to wait though) or get a reservation. Just stick with the seafood since the non-seafood choices aren't that great and definitely get the bang bang shrimp.

Frozen yogurt so close to home?! This could be a very bad thing for my waistband. This place just opened, and though I was skeptical at first, I'm pretty happy with the place. It's pretty much exactly like Orange Leaf, you walk to the back of the store, choose a cup and fill it up with their many flavors of frozen yogurt and toppings. You pay by the ounce and it ends up costing way more than you think. I had cappuccino, pecan praline and maple bacon donut flavors. The maple bacon donut flavor was my favorite! So good! My only beef is that they don't have the cute little spoons like Orange Leaf does. I guess it's not a complete deal breaker though.
Had a great experience here just the other night with the family. I admit I am more on the "vanilla" side (not the flavor) when it comes to toppings. NY Cheesecake flavor with graham crackers sprinkled on top. I know, not very exciting, but I enjoyed it! Liked listening to the contemporary Christian music playing across the Sirius radio too. My family also enjoyed their picks. The owner was there to greet us and talk a bit about the company. Nice fellow and I admire him for starting up a shop like this in our area. Place was very clean on our visit and had plenty of seating even with folks coming and going while we were there. We look forward to our next visit.
My frozen yogurt strategy is to try a handful of flavors, usually at least five, and leave off the toppings. My attitude is that good frozen yogurt is good enough that toppings are unnecessary. Also, when you pay by weight, toppings are an extravagance anyway. I've visited Sweet Frog twice now. The first time, shortly after they opened, I wasn't sure that I like the taste of the yogurt, but I assumed it was just me or I had chosen flavors poorly. I had been in a fruity-flavor mood at the time. On my second visit, 2 years later, I was in a richer-flavor mood and went for cheesecake, Dulce de leche, peanut butter, and fudge or chocolate (I forget which it was). Again I was unhappy with the flavor, especially the cheesecake. My conclusion is that the frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog is more tangy than other frozen yogurt. This could indicate that they're using higher-quality ingredients, or at least that there's actual yogurt in their recipes. Or perhaps the product was a little off? I don't think so. But in short, it's not my preferred frozen yogurt.

It may be a chain, but there are only two in Northern Kentucky. I have been to this location 5-6 times and it's always packed. Strange traffic pattern getting into it; you pass by it then turn in between a gas station and a fast food restaurant to get there. Anyway, it's good food. Generous portions and seems consistent in quality. I never quite understood why you tell the restaurant employees what you want by name because they still ask you...black beans or pintos, chicken, beef? Anyway, doesn't keep me from going back (nor does that circuitous path to get there)!
This place is just your typical Chipotle - the people are nice enough, the food looked fresh. The place isn't as clean as it could be... might be nice if there were people out there cleaning up the tables on occasion. The other irritating thing is that when we paid, the computer crashed. So they came back and told us that they didn't charge us. Well, then get home, and the credit card statement says that we were charged twice. I'm sure that it will get taken care of, but it's just one more unnecessary irritation.
This place is so inconsistent. I can order the same thing and some days it will be decent others it's cold and bland. Giving it a rest for awhile.

Dropped in to watch some NCAA action on a Sunday afternoon. Sat at the bar and ordered a water with lemon and asked to see a menu. I started with the Saratoga Chips. I thought they would come out quick; they didn't bit the wait was worth it since they were warm some crunchy some chewey, but all good with the accompanying BBQ sauce. Great value at $3. Then for $4 I got a hardy and thick bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup. More like a chili than a soup and garnished with three jalapeño slices. Very good. Expect smoking at KJ's. They allow it. I saw a pizza come out for a guy down at the end of the bar which looked great. Next time I'll try that.
Went here the other night to order some take out. I had always passed by this place so I decided to give it a try. The bartender who took my order was very unfriendly. I'm in the customer industry and I always tip when I get carry out, but now I'm wishing that I hadn't. When I got home the containers with the condiments were open and had gotten all over my bag. The food was not that great either. Even if the food had been amazing I probably would not go back again because the service was not good.
Locals kind of bar. Nothing to shake a stick at. The food was typical bar food but after seeing the bathrooms I wish I would have not eaten there.
