After the last CB experience, I was not sure if we would try again. This location was close to the hotel and worth the stop. The whole family enjoyed breakfast for dinner. We were seated and quickly greeted by Ashley, who was a great server...attentive, professional, and fun. The restaurant was a little dirty and could use a good cleaning. Except for the food, all of it, being a little cold, dinner tasted good. Cracker Barrel has yummilicious food, just need to pay attention to some of the details. But I will pony up a surprising 4 star.

This "Old Country Store and Restaurant" is awesome. The country store is merchandised in such a creative way. The colors are balanced; each section is a theme of some sort. Nautical, sweets, whites, naturals to name a few. With each display section you will find clothing (tops, bottoms) and accessories: bags, hats, earrings, scarves that work together. Today I found 2 bags and 2 pairs of earrings that I love. The shop is mostly for women and children sorry guys but this store is amazing. I love the décor in the restaurant as well. Old country tools and paintings, rustic appeal really beautiful to look at. I ordered one of the specials BBQ ribs half rack with 2 sides (fried okra and green beans) with sweet raspberry tea. The ribs were very tender and the okra and green beans had a nice flavor, the tea was delicious and refreshing. The prices were very reasonable and our waitress was wonderful, attentive, helpful and courteous. I would love to eat and shop here again and again. Not only were the salespeople friendly the customers were friendly. I had several conversations with other wives shopping while all our husbands sat outside rocking in the chairs and enjoying the view.

Went for lunch with my wife after a weekend get away....the service was good and was able to have a nice conversation with our waitress about the area. Overall the food was typical of a Cracker Barrel so expectations there were meet. The only real complaint was I did observe one waitress use her hands to pick up a dirty broom and then touch a customers food, but it was at the patrons request so because he didn't like the temp of something......

We have always had good visits here! A great, friendly staff. The food seems to always be fresh & tastes great. I always spend more time in the store than in the restaraunt. Love being able to find unique treasures here!

Started to write a negative review about this particular Cracker Barrel location 2 months ago, but the manager begged me not to and gave me and my kids a free meal. Yesterday was a repeat of the same awful experience. Three groups seated in front of us. Drinks arrived after food. Silverware brought after drinks, after waitress was asked what we are supposed to eat with. Two out of three knives were dirty. Drinks never refilled. Two out of three meals served incorrect. Waitress, Emily, was short with us at all times, be them far apart. I live local but will never waste another dollar at this place. STAY AWAY!!! Rats in the Cobb Salad!!!!

I had gone nearly 30 years of my life without eating at a Cracker Barrel. I was brought here by my (then) girlfriend, for a meal with her family. I thought to myself, "oh great, this will be swell" and looked forward to the event. First time at a Cracker Barrel, first time meeting her family (after a funeral they all attended), and first time driving past the Snyder to get to a restaurant. Win-win-win. Unfortunately it didn't turn out so swell. The place clearly works for families of a specific background. It seems to be doing well, financially, and I know these places are popular across interstates all over America. I just.... don't know why. Service was OK. Food was bland and cold, sort of like the atmosphere. We didn't even have to wait to be seated. I couldn't imagine waiting for an hour to eat at a place like this. At least I learned a valuable lesson that Sunday - a family that chooses Cracker Barrel stays together (and those that have never been to one before, don't stick around for too long).

The wait staff held it together well when I65 was stopped and backed up to Louisville. There was a reasonable wait, considering the unexpected crowd. My rainbow trout was perfectly cooked and seasoned and my husband loved his country fried steak. Kudos!

A pit stop at Cracker Barrel is the quintessential sign that the Smith family is on a southbound vacation. This is one of the few occasions when you won't hear me nagging to find a local spot. There's something about the rocking chairs out front, clusterf*** front store, checker and table side games and hash brown casserole that keep me coming back for more. My recommendations for newbies: -opt to have your sourdough bread grilled and don't miss out on the blackberry jam -the blackened catfish is delicious (and comes with low-cal versions) -if breakfast---and you feel like porking out- give the old timer's breakfast a whirl-grits, meat, casserole, eggs, a side of heart attack garnished with an orange slice to lighten up the guilt -lastly, this place is super budget-friendly

I love eating at CB. I do so about 50 times a year. I have to say this is the worst service I have ever gotten at one of these stores. They are not that busy either. The good is fine but the service very slow. I wonder if it is just my server?

This particular location happened to be exactly like every other Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. Standard "mock southern" cooking and packed to the gills with travelers. My visit here was the first time I had something other than breakfast and I was actually surprised how not awful it was. I ordered the catfish dinner. The Mac & cheese was dry like it had been sitting too long under a heat lamp, but aside from that it was all delicious looking and tasting. I might actually order dinner again on another visit. Also- I love that they offer Stewarts bottled diet & standard root beer as a drink option.

Ewwww, Franken-chicken alert!!!! While I still enjoyed my dinner of fried pork chops with country "vegetables", my hubby's order of Chicken Fried Chicken was pretty close to inedible. I did not believe him when he told me the chicken was chewy and rubbery. So I tried it for my own sake...OMG...it was the weirdest piece of chicken I have ever tasted. It was rubbery with a bouncy squeak when I chewed down on it....such weird texture...I even pried away the outer fried shell to make sure it was chicken meat. It appeared to be chicken meat. But I am unable to confirm it. Stay away from that fried chicken! Everything else about our meal was good as usual. The service was friendly and efficient.

Chicken fried chicken was terrible! I've had TV dinners better than this! The portions were a joke. Service was prompt but not very friendly at all. If you're not on the verge of blacking out from starvation.....keep driving!

Junk, Junk, and more Junk. I really am not a fan of this mock southern style restaurant. My only reason in going was because my mother said so. Although I can protest on Yelp, I would never protest to my mom. The place was crowded as usual with no room to move because everyone was surrounded by Better Homes memorabilia. Our service was fine, I do not blame the people that work there for the restaurant quality. The food was perfectly bland and tasteless, even for eggs and bacon. I will not be checking in anytime soon for an update. The motto for this restaurant/store seems to be over portion is fine if it is at a cheap cost. They may be known by their fans as the country home store with rocking chairs out front, but to me they will always be known as the southern embarrassment.

Food: 2 stars. I used to love CB, but I feel the quality has gone downhill. It is possible that, because I have been going to more and more local joints that focus on colorful tastes, I'm just now noticing bland flavors at CB that were always there. Service: 1 star. Service at this location has been dry to cold. Not rude, but without any smile, or friendly dialog of any kind. On my last visit, I ordered a sampler that came with several side dishes. I had to ask for a side that was missing when my food was served. That wasn't horrible, but I just now noticed, after checking the menu, that a second side item was missing that was never serviced. Too late now. Store: 4 stars. The Old Country Store portion of this business is a really cool place. It is full of all sorts of nostalgic goodies, candy, shirts, toys, gifts, etc. This is a great place to swing by and shop, even if not visiting the restaurant. Last minute birthday or Christmas gift? A quick stop here may be the right thing to do. Of all restaurants, a CB is one of THE best places to wait. Browsing the store quickly eats up all those minutes and if there are a few minutes to spare, spend those one of the many rocking chairs on the front porch. Average: 2 stars. The bland food and poor service carries the most weight because, after all, this place is a restaurant.

This place is hit or miss. I have had an equal amount of good and bad experiences here. Had terrible service with cold food, and great service with fresh hot food. It is kind of like a playing russian roulette for your meal. If you really want some Cracker Barrel, it may be worth driving a little further to one of the other locations.

Ok if you want standard franchise food. Is not bad for breakfast, but it ain't your mommas cooking. Rather stay home and cook.
