I've heard of some talk of this restaurant but have yet to finally go. Well I finally did and it was definitely worth the jump to try it! Now it was a Wednesday morning so it wasn't busy but the place is small and I could see it getting busy on weekends. Server was great and attentive. My mom ordered the Surf and Turf Egg Bake and I got the Goetta Grilled Cheese. Surf and Turf was similar to an omelet and included bacon, crab, and avocado. My mom said it was delicious. My goetta grilled cheese was delish too and came with a grilled egg and a side of potatoes. It also had their own bacon jam, which I'm told people put on the sandwich. I passed but it would be great on just toast. Overall we spent 25 bucks with a coke and oj, food was yummy, and we had plenty of leftovers. We will be back!

Good place for brunch. Seating can be limited but you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you wait. Or better yet get their mimosa / screwdriver hybrid (only $4) and relax. I typically get one of their skillet options which is a series of breakfast items covered in gooey melted cheese served on a cast-iron fajita skillet. It's a place i always tend to forget about as being an option but I am never disappointed when I'm there. If you've never checked them out I do recommend it.

I am only giving it 4 stars based on their coffee. We split the grilled cheese and it was delicious. Plenty to share. The potatoes were also delicious. It was quick, the atmosphere is nice, the food is great and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

The goetta grilled cheese -- goetta, egg, cheese on a delicious toasted bread with a side of potatoes and the real kicker a delicious bacon blackberry jam! Tell me that doesn't sound good and I will tell you that you are nuts! The 10$ price tag on this sandwich is in my opinion a little high, but I will pay it again. Cute little place, it was not crowded when we went Friday after Christmas for brunch. Service was a little slow, I think she was probably doing other jobs in the back too.

We went for breakfast. Everyone at our table ordered the goetta, eggs, and potato meal. It was just okay. The potatoes were greasy and the goetta was overly dry. It's a cute place though. I'd go back and try something else. It's probably not fair since we all got the same thing. Funny we did that since there were six of us!!

BB has a creative menu, offerings you won't see around Greater Cincy. Good coffee is one prerequisite fora positive breakfast experience and BB serves a nice blend. I ordered the Kentucky Hot Brown, based on the friendly waitress's recommendation. I found that it was undercooked. It should have stayed in the broiler another five minutes or so because the turkey was barely warm and the food was watery under the melted cheese. I also detected an unpleasant fishy scent. As I ate, I realized the fishy taste was coming from the iron skillet on which it is cooked and served. I really want to like this place and I plan on returning so that I can try one of the goetta dishes. (That was why I came here, but I tend to go with wait staff recommendations.) This place could easily be a 4-5 with only a few corrections. I shall return!

Bellevue Bistro is one of the only places in the area that does a daily brunch. You need a brunch, they've got it going. That is something I really enjoy about this place. It's a small cafe ... and when I say small, I mean a one room restaurant that's not a big room to begin with. Still, they take reservations and they can accommodate a group. I had a morning round table meeting here with seven people and it was great. The decor is quaint and comfortable. Nothing that's going to blow you away but nice. The food is about the same - good but nothing that's ever made me go, "Wow!" I'd be very willing to come back and try again though if there was ever a "must have" recommendation. Food is reasonably priced. I think I spent about $10 to $12 on my breakfast, which was fine for the atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. Service can be a little slow from time to time depending on how many people are in and how many people are working, but it's a great spot to sip on a cup of coffee and enjoy. Enjoy!

The food here is very hit or miss. I've had the goetta grilled cheese which was very tasty and the salmon Benedict which was subpar at best. Also we never received our cinnamon toast that was supposed to come with our meals. My real problem with this place is the service. Waitresses take no interest in the clientele and the food always takes forever to come out no matter how busy it is. My coffee wasn't filled without me getting a staff members attention. When we were done eating our bill never came out so I had to walk up to the counter to get someone's attention to pay out. The staff looks very lost and uninterested in their jobs. Don't waste your time with a frustrating and disappointing brunch. I know I won't.

I live a mile away from here and am ashamed it took me a year and a half to finally get around to coming in. To make up for it, my second visit was just one week later, and I expect to come back many times in the future. I took some out of town friends here for Sunday brunch before they headed out of town. When we got there at 9am there was only one other patron seated, but the place filled up by the time we finished. Upon entering we noticed the cozy atmosphere and selected one of the window seat tables for optimum snowfall and people watching. Everyone really enjoyed their dishes and was pleased with the price points (about $8-10). I was surprised at how much was on the menu. My personal recommendation is the Turkey Conquistador. The service was on the slow side but we weren't in a hurry at all. The server offered to split our checks right at the start, which is always appreciated. Loved the cuckoo clock!

I've enjoyed brunch, lunch, and dinner here and the best by far is their brunch. Their Benedicts are so good--a range of different options served over biscuits on a sizzling hot cast iron skillet so the melted cheese gets a bit crunchy where it hits the pan. I like the Kentucky Hot Brown Benedict (sans bacon), but have also heard good things from dining companions about the salmon and the pork loin versions. For lunch, I've tried their coffee-rubbed burger which is served on a pretzel bun. It was tasty and I enjoyed it, but it's not something I would specifically come back for. I also tried the chopped coleslaw as a side last time ($2 up charge vs. standard side of potato chips) and didn't care for it--just roughly chopped cabbage with a sweet/vinegary dressing. All meals are pretty reasonably priced, but again, I think brunch is their best value. The space is quite compact so while I've never had a long wait here, I wouldn't recommend coming with a large party.

This place is delicious! If you're looking for brunch in Northern Kentucky, especially during the week, this is the place to be. They serve brunch 7 days a week, and that is tough to find in this area. They also have a pretty great lunch menu, but brunch is where the most delicious menu items are. Unfortunately, brunch is only served until 11am on the weekdays, but you can order it until 2pm on weekends. You are seriously missing out if you've never tried their goetta sandwich. In fact, my friends and I have turned "goetta sandwich" into an adjective describing anything wonderful, thanks to Bellevue Bistro changing our taste buds forever. Their skillet potatoes are the best I've ever tasted. And you can also order these with lunch instead of chips! If you're there for lunch, I'd recommend the tuna asparagus salad. I'm really not a salad person, but this is one of my favorite meals ever. The breakfast salad is pretty awesome too. They're both hearty enough to be a meal instead of just a side salad. Basically what this review comes down to, is that you really need to go to Bellevue Bistro. It's important.

Went there last Friday because a friend's art is there for the month, they always have local artist's work hanging that you can buy which is cool. I got a Schlafly for 3.75, and they had many other great beers for that price so no complaints there. To eat I ordered the Cape Cod Reuben, which sounded a bit weird, but oh man did I make the right choice. The cut of Salmon was nice and big and prepared right, topped with hearty asian cole slaw and on a good pretzel bun (and of course 1000 island). There was a little acoustic act in the corner and the atmosphere was good. If you're looking for a small local coffee shop with good food and beer, this is your place!

Bellevue Bistro has some good things going for it...and some bad. The boyfriend and I arrived on a Saturday around 10:15. Almost all the seats were filled--only one or two were open. We had to asked to be seated, which I'm never a big fan of. But the waitress cleaned off our table quickly and we were ready to go. And then we waited. And waited. About 10 minutes later, after helping almost every other table in the small restaurant, the waitress returned. She did apologize for the wait and it was clear she was the only waitress. But later on during our meal three additional waitresses came in and our service never improved. Others who had arrived long after us had their food before us, and our check would never have arrived without us asking for it. On the plus side, their food is great. I had a spicy potato scramble and the boyfriend had a turkey conquistador bake (his was much better--definitely go for a skillet bake). Both were hot, and the portions were large. My presentation was a little lacking, but that's not a huge problem in my book. The coffee is outstanding! And the prices are perfect. I'd head back to Bellevue Bistro just to try some of their other food choices. Honestly, all their options sound amazing. I'll just hope the service this time was a one-time-thing.

Delicious! Service was slow (we were the only ones in there for the majority of our visit on a Friday morning for breakfast) but the food was amazing! I got the Double Decker breakfast sandwich and shared it with my 21 month old (he can eat! But there was so much that there was plenty for the both of us!) and my husband got one of the other breakfast sandwiches (came with amazing bacon jam!) Super impressed by the food- would stop in again while visiting the area!

I really wanted to love this place because it is right around the corner from my house. The breakfast bakes were delicious and atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. The menu had a good variety, interested combinations, and the portions were generous--I definitely could have split something and still been full. The service was painfully slow for not being busy. There were only a few tables yet we never got refills, check took forever, and I had to get up to ask for ketchup because no one came by. Will definitely give this place another try for their food but hoping I get a different experience.

You have to check out the brunch offered at Bellevue Bistro! My friend and I were looking through the menu, reading off the options that sounded good to us. We quickly realized that we were basically just reading the menu aloud...really, everything they had to offer sounded so good! In addition to all the great food offerings, they make some delicious coffee & have a solid beer selection as well. Was definitely amused that they offer a bacon and beer pairing on the menu. The bistro itself is a great, cozy place. Loved their music selection, and the food did not disappoint. Looking forward to my next trip to the bistro to try more of the menu!

Been there like five to six times. I love this cafe and the food there. Simple cafe food and friendly staff make this perfect I would recommend the turkey conqotidesier ( I am off with the spelling) but please do try it. Ask them to ether add sweet potatoes or replace Rosemary potatoes if you are diet conscious. Also ask for a side of goetta ! Their house coffee is a regular Nescafé but it is yum for a brunch !

Words can't explain how good the food is. I work 3rd shift so I am usually hungry when I get off. I recently moved to Bellevue/Dayton area. So I been trying out all the little eating spots around town. I seen this place in yelp. So I wanted to try a couple things not knowing how big the portions where... I ordered the Goetta sandwich and the French toast. I could write 8 pages to explain how amazing both were but just order them. Don't forget to try the BBQ bacon jam.. It's heavenly!!

This was our first time in historic Bellevue and our first time at Bellevue Bistro. I was delightfully surprised with the variety of the brunch menu! The veggie breakfast bake was excellent. My sister got the French toast and it was good too. The food came out hot and quickly! The atmosphere is very eclectic and fun. It was busy this afternoon when we had lunch, they seemed to be low on staff because it took a while for us to cash out. Overall, an above average breakfast joint in a beautiful historic district. We will be going back soon!

I've been eating at the Bellevue Bistro since its inception several years ago. It's been through quite a few ownership changes, and unfortunately, the only thing that seems to be consistent with these changes, is mediocre service. The food: it was just ok. The menu looked enticing, lots of options, all things that I eat and would love to eat to get out of the "lunch meat sandwich" options around the courthouse, but my order, the Tuna Asparagus salad was just....odd. The portion was lovely, but there was a flavor...can't place it--maybe tarragon(?) that was just totally overwhelming and made the dish almost unbearable. Also, the "warm" and "cold" thing was offputting. I kept trying, but sadly, couldn't finish my lunch. The service was really chaotic--one server, who seemed to be frantic, but really, there weren't that many people. She was rushed when speaking to me, rushed when taking my order, rushed when giving me my food, but couldn't be found when I wanted to get my check and pay....then, when I did, couldn't figure out how to make the receipt tape work.

Looking for casual breakfast? The Bellevue Bistro will hit the spot then! It's said that the menu changes for each season but the breakfast menus stays pretty consistent as far as I'm concerned. This may be because I always get a breakfast sautés. It's enough food for 2 so bring a friend or be sure to grab a doggy bag! Be sure to arrive early (before 10am) if you're looking to get a table on the weekend!

This is my favorite brunch place in Cincinnati. The food is amazing and well priced. It is a small cafe that seats about 25 people, so on the weekends you may have to wait for a table. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, and the staff is always friendly. I originally discovered this place after trying to go to Virgil's for brunch on a Saturday (they weren't open), and Bellevue Bistro is now hands down my favorite place for brunch. I usually get the surf and turf bake - it is AMAZING and the portions are really big (which could be a pro or a con), but everything I've had on the menu is fabulous. The prices are great with most breakfast items between $6 - $9. Another plus for me is that they have Highland Grogg coffe (my favorite) which I believe is roasted locally. Everything about this place is great - I've been coming for a few years now and I love it!

Great brunch options at Bellvue Bistro. It is a small cafe with an intimate vibe. Customers look happy as they chat, and he staff always hasa smile. Locals may enjoy the fact there are some goetta dishes on the menu. If you are interested in an adult beverage, they do have a liquor license. I opted for one of their non traditional hot browns. It was a little too non traditional for me, but still tasted good. I am really happy I stopped in for the Bb experience.

WOW! How have I not reviewed this place yet?? I tell every new person I meet about this place and how excellent they are so now I need to shout it from the rooftops! BB, your food is incredible! Its so gourmet without being pretentious. You have BACON JELLY- how awesome is that?!?!? I have never ordered a bad thing there and the mimosas are huge and priced at a reasonable $3.50. The restaurant has a cute local art feel with a subtle star wars vibe.. it might be a wait but its well worth it. The only thing I have to complain about is that the service is slow sometimes but the food makes up for it :) BB, I will continue to recommend you to everyone who has never tasted your greatness. Thank you!

I went to Bellevue Bistro to just try some Goetta. I am new to the area and always like to seek out local dishes. I like German liver sausage and was hoping for something like that and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Bellevue breakfast bake. It was a very large portion considering the price, so even though the bistro has kind of that cutesy girl decor, the food is substantial. The Goetta comes from Meiners Meats, which I believe may be one of the owners of this establishment. The only reason I say that is the magazines that are put around the restaurant are from someone with the same last name. It had a nice seasoning, heavy on thyme, but after I got used to the oats in it, I really enjoyed. It reminded me a little of boudin sausage that you get from Louisiana. My fiance had the bistro french toast, which was also a nice portion with generous amounts of berries, and she finished it all, so I think it had to have been good too. When we went it was almost 10AM on a Tuesday and it was fairly empty, so may have been a great time to go.

At first glance of the menu I thought this place would be great! My co workers and I love trying out new places in the Newport/ Bellevue area. I ordered the Cleveland salad with chicken and it was FOUL. Lets see, the chicken smelled like hotdogs and was flesh colored. It appeared to be under cooked, or came pre cooked frozen but wasn't prepared correctly. By the smell and taste I picked all the chicken off. I tried the bread that came with it....stale. Salad was gross. Waste of $8.53. Thanks for wasting my time and money!

Mom's lunches with a modern flare. Bellevue Bistro is a quaint, small town sandwich shop that's always bustling at lunchtime. The bold, inviting walls are covered in local art. The polished hardwood floors compliment the turn-of-the-century architecture that still hints inside this restaurant. The potato soup here is fantastic: hearty chunks of potato and a creamy broth that's just right! The soups rotate daily, but potato seems to be a regular. I've had several sandwiches here, all were enjoyable: - chicken salad sandwich, with grapes and alfalfa sprouts - turkey cranberry sandwich - Tuscan (turkey, swiss, avacado, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, onion, mustard) - Reuben on a pretzel bun (this was a little salty, but I still ate every bite) Bellevue Bistro's upscale sandwiches average around $8.00, a person can expect to spend about $12-$15 in a meal. A little pricey, but worth a quality lunch.

I used to frequent Bellevue Bistro a lot under its previous owners. It had great food, great coffee and a very nice atmosphere. Since changing owners, I've been back twice. The first time I think was shortly after the change because it wasn't very well organized and the service was kind of slow. Additionally, the tomato basil soup my mom ordered had been peppered like 20 times or something because it was so spicy she practically coughed up a lung. The second time, my husband and I went there for an early lunch and the experience was much better. The menu is actually pretty much the same from the previous owners. The food tastes a little better, though. As an added bonus, the current owner loves Star Wars so there is a lot of Star Wars memorabilia around - some of which is like a scavenger hunt to find, so that is fun to do while waiting for your order. I'm very happy that there doesn't seem to be a price change at all - every little Main Street area needs a middle-of-the-road cafe with good food and Bellevue Bistro fits that bill really nicely. It isn't pretentious, it has good food and it's a pretty relaxing time as well. On top of that, free wifi!

I live a couple miles away and frequent the Bistro, from the breakfast bakes to the sandwiches you can't beat it. Love the variety the menu offers and the food is reasonably priced. Only knock I have is that you may find yourself waiting on a table due to the small, intimate layout.

I went here for brunch with a couple friends and I'll say that this is a nice quaint place. The place is not a large place with many small tables so it's perfect for a small group. The atmosphere is very friendly as well. As for the food, I ordered one of the breakfast bakes they had on special, which was definitely a nice change from normal breakfast foods. It's essentially a breakfast skillet and it was quite delicious. As I'm a big brunch person I had no complaints from this place and plan to try other foods when I have the chance.

It pains me to write this review. I'm a big proponent of Bellevue. Heck, I live there so why not? I use to hit the Bistro all the time under prior owners. It was a great coffee shop. Regulars gathered in the morning. There was always a guy quietly playing guitar. But that owner sold it to her son I think who then sold it to some guy that the last time I was there was decked out in sports regalia, playing music too loud, and offered just plain bad service. But that was then and today I thought I'd give it another chance. I had a meeting and the other guy suggested the Bistro. Sure I said. Why not? The meeting was set for 8. I showed up at 7:55 and while the OPEN sign was lite the door was locked. The sign said they opened at 8. I peered inside. Dark. So even if they did open at 8 would they be able to serve us, I thought. Isn't 8 a bit late for a morning place on a weekday? So I texted my guy to meet at the place across the street. I'll review that later. As I sat down I did see people heading into the Bellevue Bistro. But mostly what I saw was a Pabst Blue Ribbon sign on the window. How's this fit? A breakfast place with a beer sign? It doesn't. It's cheesy. I'm guessing free from a beer seller. Also, it makes Bellevue's main street look crappy to have a neon beer sign up in a place that isn't even a bar. Is it fair to review I place I didn't get into? Maybe not. The food may be great. The service may be great, but I won't be heading back anytime soon.

I just had my first Bellevue Bistro experience, which is sad considering I've lived in the area for over a year. I went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning, and had a pretty great experience. The service was somewhat slow; I think I showed up right at the peak of the morning rush, and several waitresses arrived for their shifts about halfway through my meal and I noticed service got better. I got the Surf n Turf breakfast bake, which was fantastic! I have never had a surf and turf breakfast, but it was great. As a potato lover, I was especially impressed by their rosemary potatoes, and how fresh all of the veggies tasted. My boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy, his favorite breakfast meal. He seemed to really enjoy it, and I tried a bite and thought it was good. Nothing earth shattering, but it tasted good, and homemade, not like it was made from a box or mix. If you think sometimes-patchy service is o.k. as long as the meal is great, I highly recommend Bellevue Bistro. I will go back again and again, but may think twice if I was in a hurry.

Bellevue Bistro is a quaint diner-type place with coffee, breakfast, and lunch service daily. On a Saturday around noon, the tiny place was crowded and the service was a little slow, but the sandwich and salad we tried were both tasty. Each day brings a special; recently it was chicken alfredo pizza. The bistro also serves homemade soups. Nice place for girlfriend lunches or to grab some coffee and breakfast on a leisurely weekend morning. Bellevue Bistro also opens on Thursdays and Friday evenings; call ahead for hours.

The waitress was rude about telling us what they didn't have. You are out of pretzel buns, you don't have breakfast and you have no idea what kind of beer you have? Fine. Just don't make me feel like I should have known. Also, we were there two hours before they were supposed to close, but were made to feel like we were ruining their day. I really wanted to like this place and I think I would have if the servers hadn't made us feel so unwelcome.

I love the atmosphere & the menu options were really interesting. I only wish the execution was a little tastier. I had the Kentucky Hot Brown benedict which was a bit too dry for my taste, so I was somewhat disappointed.

I wanted to provide an update to my original review for Bellevue Bistro. I have been back since for lunch. I ordered their Burger and it was very good. They seem to have a well-rounded lunch menu.

Being gluten/dairy free and a vegetarian I had the highest hopes for this little restaurant. However I left very disappointed with my $9 breakfast in a styrofoam container, later fed to the dog. I was thrilled that they had dairy alternatives, such as chocolate almond milk for my three year old but was not thrilled that it was servered to him in a styrofoam cup. I guess it would have been my interpretation that a restaurant who markets their vegan menu options would have also taken environmental considerations. Then my Americano was brought to me and mindlessly placed right in front of my three year old...the Americano I was unable to drink as it was prepared with entirely too much syrup. The server was quick to offer a replacement though and the second one was much better. Then came breakfast; The Veggie Bake. The menu states it is served with Tofu but I received polenta. None the less this could have been really good had it been completely cooked. The squash was nearly raw. Being I was with my impatient toddler and this was just going in a downward spiral, I chose to simply leave rather than wait for the situation to be resolved. The menu gave me some great meal ideas to make at home but needless to say I doubt I will return.

This place is superb. I had the surf & turf bake, and my girlfriend had the pollo Benedict. Both were delicious and just about as much as we could eat. The coffee was great, and the service was just right. The atmosphere is well done, and I love the little Star Wars figures hidden around the establishment. The only thing that would make the place better would be Bloody Marys. They already serve alcohol, and a Bloody Mary bar would be the perfect Sunday brunch treat.

This charming little bistro's menu changes every three weeks, which I think allows the chef to make use of in-season produce. On our first visit, my bf and I wanted something light, so we ordered two apps (calamari and lettuce wraps) and two house salads. We were the only two people there (it was still pretty early) but we were a little surprised that it took a fairly long time until our food appeared. The breading on the calamari wasn't as crisp as I'd hoped, but the sweet chili dipping sauce made the dish acceptable. However, the lettuce wraps were very good and freshly made with big chunks of chicken breast nestled in wedges of iceburg lettuce. Our salads were also super-fresh and were comprised of a bed of field greens, red pepper rings, delicious roma tomatoes (my bf commented how good they were and he never eats tomatoes) along with a side of balsamic vinaigrette. In addition to the better-than-average food, I was impressed with the artwork and handy-crafts on display by local artisans. The art was very reasonably priced, which would explain why many were already sold.

Biscuits and gravy were good. My husband had the mediteranean bake which was very under seasoned. After a bit of salt snd pepper was tastey. Variety of coffee options was nice. Place is small but the wait was not bad.

The food here is SO GOOD. I have tried a few different dishes for breakfast and lunch but my standby is the Bistro's version of a KY hot brown. Tasty! The service can be a little slow but for me, the food tips the scales in the Bistro's favor.

Bellevue Bistro is the only coffee house in my neighborhood. I usually show up an hour after they close since they have limited hours. The space is nice, kind of small and quaint and the drink menu is pretty typical of local coffee shops. Located on Fairfield Avenue, it sits in the middle of an area that has been revitalized over the past few years. Parking can be difficult since the Avenue has moderate traffic during the daytime.

I have been to Bellevue Bistro on numerous occasions, and I thoroughly enjoy dining there each and every time. I would consider this place one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in NKY. My usual order is the Goetta Grilled Cheese; I would highly recommend this meal to any lover of goetta and/or breakfast sandwiches. The Goetta Grilled Cheese consists of a whole wheat toast sandwich filled with goetta, fried eggs, and cheddar jack and American cheeses. The sandwich is served with a generous helping of potatoes and bacon jam. Delicious! Your meal at Bellevue Bistro won't be the absolute cheapest, but the portion sizes and the quality of the food are well worth the few extra dollars. Bellevue Bistro is a great little spot for a hearty, tasty meal.

Seriously Bellevue Bistro has the BEST food! It is so fresh and delicious at an affordable price. My most regular meal there is breakfast and I almost always get the veggie bake but the French toast is so good and any of the Benny bakes are awesome too! Today is the first time I've had anything off their lunch menu and I had the Brie Grilled Cheese. Hands down the best grilled cheese! Brie, bacon and green apple slices? Heaven! My friend had the veggie stack sandwich (and she was nice enough to let me have a bite!) and I almost wished I had gotten that! I have to say, I am not sure there is anything on the menu I wouldn't enjoy. Do yourself a favor and eat at this place, you won't regret it!

Just wow. I came here for brunch with the guys before we started work. The food is so good! I wish I had a place like this back home. It doesn't have a lot of seating but you should try it. I had the Kentucky Hot Brown benedict with some small modifications and it was excellent. I hope we get a chance to come back before we leave.

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day, and there is no better way to start off my Saturday than stuffing my face with a deliciously unhealthy meal from Bellevue Bistro. They've got a nice assortment of menu items so even the pickiest of eaters can find something they want to eat. Now for some of my personal favs: The Goetta Grilled Cheese: Apparently some Debbie Downers are complaining about the goetta, but I don't have any idea why. I am not a Cincinnati native and am far from a goetta fan, and I have too many dreams about this sammich. I'll admit that I will eat just about anything if you throw a fried egg on top, but this sucker is good. And that bacon jam on the side is like a gift from the gods. Cinnabread sandwich: Folks, every place has their signature whatever that looks like it could be iffy but ends up being a game changer. This one is it. I have never actually ordered it myself, but I always end up munching on it when someone else orders it. It sounds completely ridiculous but for some odd reason, everything goes together soooo well. Ugh, it's making me hungry even thinking about it. Just be prepared to take a nap afterward. Breakfast burrito: I haven't gotten this one much BUT I also tend to eat a lot of vegetarian dishes for some reason. So if I happen to wake up on Saturday craving some Bellevue Bistro but I do not want to feel like I ate a mack truck by the end of the meal, I order this. It's got eggs in it....sold. The benedicts: They've all got two fried eggs on them ...do I really need to say more? The bakes: I've ordered several of these bakes and I can never remember which ones I've had but I've always been happy with them. The only one I tend to avoid is the surf and turf, but only because I didn't feel like there was enough protein in it to justify the expense ...but perhaps I just hit it on the wrong day. The moral of the story is ....ignore all those people complaining about this place and just come. It is first-come-first-serve (which can be annoying), but just don't come smack in the middle of a rush. This places is great and a MUST for breakfast.

My wife and I love this place. We've been going here for breakfasts, for the last few years. The menu has evolved and expanded over the years, but all of the staples have remained and the quality of the food has stayed very high. The portions are very generous and is almost always more than we can finish...even though I try! While it sounds simple (and it is) the Goetta Grilled Cheese is so well done. We've tried most all of the breakfast bakes and haven't had any we don't like... The Bellevue being our favorite. The potatoes served as a side to most dishes are probably my favorite thing on the menu. Their coffee is great, and I think is still from local roasters Lookout Joes in Mt Lookout. There's typically always a couple of different roasts and a highlander grogg. You will want to get there early, because it is not a huge space... I think 9 tables, with 5 of those being a 2-top. Very cool vibe with local art and photography on the wall. This should be a definite add to your weekend breakfast/brunch rotation.

My goal is to try everything on Bellevue Bistro's menu :) Weekend brunch is my favorite meal of the week and this place over delivers. Each hearty breakfast meal will leave you full for the rest of the day at the right value. One of my favorites is the pb&j French toast with bacon jam and skillet potatoes. #todiefor Support local businesses and give Bellevue Bistro a try!

Cute and cozy little breakfast and lunch cafe. I liked it, my husband LOVES it. For weekend brunch, I am NOT a latte-and-scone kind of girl, I want a big, flavorful breakfast that I can really hunker down and and get lost in. I was initially a little disappointed in the coffee-shop atmosphere, but my low expectations were unfounded since Bellevue Bistro serves up HEARTY, fresh-tasting plates of hot, reasonably-priced food. (Again, the place is small with two-tops and one unisex restroom, so definitely not an ideal spot for large groups). I debated between several options on the pertly imaginative menu and settled on the Spicy Potato Hash Cake, add bacon. My husband ordered the Goetta Grilled Cheese, and we both had coffee - which was very good. Service was friendly enough and adequate. The place wasn't busy on Sunday morning, so our food arrived pretty quickly. My husband described mine as looking like "a pizza omelette", which was pretty accurate: a huge portion of piping hot, chunky potato hash, smothered in melty-browned cheese with a dollop of cucumber pico de gallo. I liked it but didn't love it. The cheese was perfectly stringy with chewy golden edges (I picked and ate it all, yum). However the potato layer was under-seasoned; I was disappointed in the "add bacon" part - almost unnoticeable pinkish bits speckled throughout that added nothing by way of flavor or texture and only to the bill...suspiciously like "imitation bacon-flavored salad bits" (those things are of the devil). The dish wasn't spicy at all, and while the pico de gallo was fresh, I wasn't a fan of how sweet it was. My husband loved his crispy Goetta grilled cheese sandwich, and appreciated that the potatoes were real honest-to-God spuds (he has never recovered from Mokka's disgusting deep-fried cubes of frozen atrocities). The bacon jam tasted like raspberry preserves - we didn't understand the hype around it. Neither of us were able to finish the generous portions. The check was reasonable for the amount served: 2 coffees and 2 entrees for about $23, before tip. BB wouldn't be my top choice for my weekend cheat treats, but I definitely don't have a problem returning if the husband joneses for that breakfast sammich again.

I had the goetta grilled cheese sandwich, and oh my gawd was that the right choice! Everything about it was perfect. It was one of those sandwiches that is rarely returned to the plate for a rest because it's so darn good! The potatoes that were served with it were outstanding--perfectly seasoned and cooked. Paul had the Hawaiian Bake. He liked it but felt that something (a sauce of some kind; it was dry) was missing. Because I read the Yelp reviews prior to our visit, I was aware that service might be an issue.. We waited for about 10 minutes for a seat, which is ordinarily no problem, but because the place is so small, there is no place to stand and wait without feeling awkward. There's really nothing that can be do about this, as they only have so much space with which to work. Service was friendly but slightly disjointed. When our served tried to deliver another table's drink order, I was afraid we were in for bigger problems later. Thankfully this was not the case. It took forever and a day for our order to arrive, but the food more than made up for it. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and are likely to return.

Great food!! Found this gem while visiting Cincinnati for the weekend. I had surf and turf breakfast bake and my friend had the muffuletta. Both were good but my bake was excellent. Great coffee too! Super quaint environment. We would absolutely come back the next time we're in town.

I went here for brunch on a Sunday morning with four friends and overall, it was a good experience because (most of) the food is great! Here's the rundown. Service: Meh. Not the worst, not good either. We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait, which actually ended up being half an hour. Not the staff's fault though, the table they planned on sitting us at were all cashed out when we put our names in, so that was a pretty legitimate guess. The group just sat and chatted with empty waters for 30 minutes while we awkwardly waited next to them (the space is pretty small inside). Our server wasn't really that great either, I think she may have been new through because she seemed like she was super overwhelmed (she only had three tables though...) and didn't do a lot of the standard things a server should do. For example, we had to go up to the counter and ask for refills of our waters/teas. When our food was delivered, it was delivered by someone else - and one girl's entire meal was missing - and she didn't come over to check and see if everything came out okay. We had to stalk her around the restaurant to tell her. About 20 minutes later, when the rest of us were almost done - her food came out. Also, our server failed to tell us that you're supposed to pay at the register so after sitting at the table with our cards out for another 10 minutes staring around the restaurant, we finally pulled someone else aside and they let us know that we had to take our checks to the register and pay there. But you have to memorize what you ordered if you go in groups because they just lump it all together on one. Food: MOSTLY great! So good that it made up for the lack of service. Three of us got Breakfast Bakes, one got the French toast, and my sister got the Goetta grilled cheese. Here's the good: EVERYTHING but the Goetta. I personally had the veggie breakfast bake which came with homemade polenta cakes (omg I love polenta cakes!) that were nicely seasoned. They use Old Bay on their potatoes so those were deliciously loaded with msg haha. (That is not an insult btw - they were so good!). My friend who's food took an extra 20 minutes... She got the French toast. And after it came out, she didn't even mind that much that they forgot about her. We all had a bite of it - and she was right, heavenly! The bad: their house made Goetta is disgusting. Three of us got it and when we all took our first bite - pretty much all made the same face. The consistency was like mushy oatmeal, even though we all ordered ours "extra crispy". There was seriously no flavor at all. I'm not sure how else to describe it, other than gross and flavorless. (I've been doing a tour of Goetta btw haha and this place is currently lowest on my list!) Anyway that's my rundown. Take it or leave it. I recommend taking the veggie or Bellevue breakfast bake though and LEAVING the Goetta! :)

3 stars for the delicious food & reasonably priced yummy Mimosas. Negative 2 stars for the Service. Not attentive enough. Had to ask for creamer for coffee. That should come with automatically or at least be offered. My son was given tap water with no ice in it & a floater. Gross. This place has a charming atmosphere & is in a cute little town. But these waitresses are young & don't seem too into their jobs. That's a negative in my book on service & I have waitressed myself and could do a much better job at their jobs. Get it together girls!!

I've been here on several occasions. Only once have I not been disappointed. However, today was the last time I'll step foot in BB. While a few of their dishes are solid (PBJ french toast) it's not worth the hassle. I've had food come out legitimately cold before and their staff has to be some of the most careless I've experienced in the area. I understand this is a neighborhood establishment and you don't have much in the way of competition for brunch but some effort and consideration towards customers would be appreciated. I don't usually complain like this on Yelp. It's actually annoying to read but Bellevue Bistro is a joke. It's getting two stars instead of one because the food isn't bad, the service is.

If you're scratching your head thinking the pictures of the breakfast bakes don't look particularly appetizing, you are right. Food looks and tastes mediocre. Came here with a friend to try a new brunch place. Small cafe on a cute, historic street. They take their fine time preparing the food and what comes out is nothing special. I got the Mediterranean breakfast bake, and he got one of the benedicts, which aren't your typical "benedicts": the egg is fried, not poached. My skillet was a jumble of potatoes, a huge slab of two fried eggs, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, basil (supposedly) and red onions with mozzarella and feta (somewhere in there). I tried (but couldn't) ignore the gigantic chunk of potato and other bits and pieces of more... potato. Hot, ugly mess that a half-asleep college kid could throw together. If there's ever a next time, I'll try the PB&J French Toast. Prices are cheap and worth checking out if you're curious, but I wouldn't roll out of bed to come here again.

My blackened salmon Benedict was amazing, with a generous portion of salmon, grilled asparagus, sun dried tomatoes and spinach, all over a buttery biscuit and covered in melty cheese. The atmosphere was quiet and inviting and the service was pleasant. I will definitely return!

Came for brunch and the food was excellent. Service is not super fast, but the wait is worth it. I really liked the spicy mett Benedict, although it deviated substantially from a standard Benedict and was more like a bake.

Very cozy little place that exudes lots of charm or a particularly nerdy bent. Star Wars characters pepper the place and can be found in some very funny poses throughout the place. The cuckoo clock and lots of local art adorn the walls. Their beer selection is pretty good and should have something for everyone. I had a hearty Veggie Benny ($9) and loved every bite of it. Great fresh ingredients including spinach, avocado, and their veggie chili covered the biscuits and eggs. Service was fine, nothing above average. I would definitely return.

I'm not sure how I haven't reviewed Bellevue Bistro yet, but it is so, so good. This is my go-to place for family, out-of-town friends, in-town friends who haven't figured it out, whoever. I don't want too many people going here, though, because then I won't be able to walk right in on a Sunday morning. I get their veggie scramble with egg whites. The sweet potatoes and veggies are fresh and perfectly cooked. The polenta is a great touch (surprisingly). It's served on a hot skillet and they serve a little piece of coffee cake with your meal, which is a cute touch. They serve Lookout Joe coffee, which is some of my favorite in the city. And even for things I don't eat (most meat), they have really imaginative offerings. I need to come back for lunch, but I can't get past the amazingness of breakfast. Love, love, love, love Bellevue Bistro.

Amazing atmosphere and food. Have eaten here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I've heard great things about this local brunch spot and was excited to try it with my husband. Needless to say, I don't think we'll be back. I ordered the Brie Grilled Cheese. It sounded yummy in the description: Brie, green apples, bacon on French bread. I guess in my imagination I pictured a warm, toasty, melty grilled cheese. I was sorely disappointed when I received a massive cold french loaf, a tiny bit of barely warm Brie, a couple of apple slices and what appeared to be microwaved bacon strips. It was barely edible, I took the top half of bread off and tried it open faced. Still not worth eating. I wouldn't write off a restaurant based on one dish. Everyone has different tastes. However, I tried several bites of my husbands Chicken Chiquilles and while at least they were warm, they were still lacking any wow factor. The one positive note was the coffee. It was delicious. If we decide to give BB another try, I'll have coffee and maybe try one of the sweet breakfast options.

A wide variety of unique dishes- everything from salads with asparagus to a breakfast hash with bacon jam! It was hard to decide what to get! My friends & I each got salads and all really liked them - they were flavorful and fresh. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is so-so. While I'd probably not be the one to suggest it, I would gladly go back with friends - particularly for breakfast. It did take a while, though, so I'd never go if pressed for time.

The place is a gem. Very unique breakfast plates which is awesome when you are looking for something a little different. What a fantastic little place! So much to see. So cozy for lunch with friends. We recently reserved the place for 21 friends because we did a search on Yelp for brunch locations in Cincinnati and it was #5 sorted by high ratings. The first four were in Ohio and this one was in KY. We were looking for a KY location this time around. When we first arrived I got a little bit nervous because they only had about 26 chairs and 10 were already taken. But it was still a little before our reserved time. They were very accommodating to our needs. As our friends arrived everything worked out perfectly. They all were able to sit close by. Some sat by the window with the beautiful, sun shiny day warming their conversations. The rest seemed to surround us with love. Most everybody took turns pointing out the little hidden Star Wars characters randomly placed around the room (found 18 total). Since it is a restaurant, I better talk about how awesome the food was, and not just the experience. I typically don't go for just the food though, I'm a "whole experience" kind of person, savoring every moment, searching out the little details that make it what it is. I ordered the "Bellevue" of course. It has goetta and I've been a fan of goetta since I was a kid. Bellevue = Potatoes, goetta, eggs, and cheese. It came served in a little iron skillet keeping it hot. Excellent idea! Wow, big portions too. Even if you can't eat it all you feel like you got your money's worth. EVERYONE loved their meals. The servers were super nice and did an excellent job! I look forward to going back soon. Good Times!

Breakfast brunch and lunch, all delicious. The breakfast bakes are my favorite for sure. I get the vegetarian option but sub the rosemary potatoes. Mmm. My only complaint is that sitting outside on a nice day, which should be quite lovely, is ruined by the never ending line of trucks that cruise down Fairfield Avenue. They are so loud! So make sure to eat indoors. You won't be disappointed!!

Best Breakfast in Cincinnati. There, I said it. I'd been here for lunch before and meant to write a review. I would give their lunch a 4 or 4.5 stars. The sandwiches were very good. Their breakfast, though, is incredible. I had the goetta breakfast sandwich with seasoned new potatoes - home-fries style. The use Meiners Meats' goetta, which I already think is the best around. The fried egg and cheese were scrumptious, and the crispy wheat toast holding it together was the perfect bow for my breakfast present. I've been on a Goetta kick recently and had the goetta benedict at Tucker's last weekend for my hangover meal. This one kicked its a$$, thus... 5 stars. The Mrs. had the turkey breakfast bake. Think skillet style with grilled turkey breast, potatoes, onions, mushrooms, avocado, two eggs, and - most importantly - GOAT cheese. Put goat cheese on anything and I'm usually a believer. On this particular dish, the goat cheese pulled everything together flawlessly. For the two meals, our bill came to $15. It would have cost me $25 to buy the ingredients and make it at home. The food was delicious. The restaurant is cute. The service was on point. Try it.

Unfortunately the best thing about this place is the decor and service (cool star wars/hipster vibe and attentive service). I was very excited to try this place since I read great reviews about it and it is in a very cute neighborhood. However, the dishes that we tried were disappointing. I had a Veggie bake which is a bunch of vegetables with tofu and eggs - it was bland and underseasoned, lacking even salt. My fiance tried the pork loin benedict (pork, bbq sauce, olives, goat cheese) - the combination sounded interesting but the flavors just do not work together. The bbq sauce is too sweet and the dish cannot decide which direction it wants to go in. All in all I am unlikely to come back here.

I loved this place! I've recently had the opportunity to spend some time checking out some great places in northern KY and have made it a point to try out a new place in the KY instead of automatically driving back across the river to my comfort zone. I must say, I've been rewarded for my adventures and Bellevue Bistro was definitely one of my great "finds". I brought my three-year-old here for brunch one day based purely on Yelp reviews and proximity. Also, one of the best things: they serve brunch EVERY day, as in mimosas and the whole nine yards. The place itself is very cute, almost like a coffee shop/cafe atmosphere. My daughter got their french toast (with chocolate and whipped cream, of course) while I got the veggie breakfast bake, minus the cheese. We both literally cleaned our plates; the food was so good I didn't want to leave any. Even their coffee was amazing! This place is my new favorite for breakfast.

I will first tell you why the food is a 3.5 for me. It's good. And they have a variety of options for brunch items (available til 2 on weekends, 11am on weekdays..but daily regardless). The bake/skillet we got was just way too salty. And a massive amount of cheese. I got the Tarragon Chicken bake, which aside from the saltiness, was adequate, filling, and the best part-- piping hot. Other than the unnatural sodium intake, I thought it was great. But it wasn't amazing. I was tempted to order many other options though, especially their sandwiches, but I'm just too much of a sucker for breakfast/brunch. Then second comes sandwiches, and lastly, salads, which were also described in a tasty manner. And for brunch, $7-$9 is a good deal in my book. Yes, it's a small place. Sometimes, you'll probably find yourself waiting a little. Or if you're Asian like me, you might have to wait forever and be ignored. Which, from this point on of my review, you can read solely if you care about personal experiences, but in my opinion, I think you should read just to get a better feel of what it's like to be a minority race in this region. So Bellevue Bistro, like many classic American restaurants in the greater Cincinnati area, is great over all-- IF YOU'RE WHITE. I usually don't pick up or make ill-assumptions of racism or some sort of racial bias when it happens because I just assume the best in people and the service received, so don't mistake me for some sister-gurl feminist and equality advocate that can't stand prejudice when she sees it. In fact, this is just reality and a reaction of many suppressed feelings of fellow oppressed minorities (be it economic, race, gender, or sexuality). But this was so blatantly obvious that you'd be a fool to not recognize it. The Beau and I walk in and the seats are indeed full, but we get absolutely no acknowledgment of walking in to the small restaurant, where all people are visible. We stand awkwardly just under 10 minutes as people leave and tables clear up before my date ASKS to be seated. The table next to us was filled after we were seated yet they got their orders taken first. I couldn't believe what extra benefits they had just for being white. How come we weren't read a list of coffees they had available without asking? We were finished and clearly needed our check, but the table next to us was attended to first, seeing if everything was fine. We weren't asked that question until the end when it was necessary to do so after clearing our dishes. The feeling you get of being neglected for being inherently different is such a tragedy in America, especially to know that it exists to this day. I will end with a quote: "...you have a lot of privilege for being white in America. Racism didn't end in 1964, and it still exists today. White supremacy is our reality. It's how the world functions. Until then [white supremacy doesn't exist], accept your privilege and f**king combat it instead of letting your neutrality perpetuate oppression." -queerblackandproud, AKA James. Thanks, Bellevue, for continuing this elegiac cycle.

Whatever you do, if you get something on bread, get their pretzel bread. it is soft and wonderful. This place is Hands down the best place to go for brunch in Northern Kentucky. Definitely in the top for the Cincinnati area. Be warned though, the building is small so sometimes you have to wait, they're often full for brunch on weekends. Everything on their menu is great and they also have some clever alcoholic breakfast drinks that will make you laugh. They serve beer all day and have a nice selection for the venue.

This place is absolutely wonderful! My food was delicious and amazing, our service was terrific, and the price was great, too, seeing as how we had a deal from LivingSocial. I will definitely be coming back for more breakfast treats!

Stopped by this quaint joint for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised. Prices were good ($5-8 for most items) with generous portions (esp on the sautees) and tasty coffee. I'll definitely go back.

Seriously what is there not to love??! Great environment..fantastic food and the owners are the sweetest guys in town. I love this place! The menu changes pretty regularly to reflect the different seasonal foods but they always find a way to make everything fun and interesting and out of the norm! Definitely a great place for a first date...quiet enough to be able to talk and feel like you're having dinner at home but with someone else cooking amazing food! And I go there for girls night out and its awesome...the ladies love the bistro!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
