Tasty potatoes and sandwiches, known for their sweet tea it's a staple every time. Their interior needs a minor update and cleaning though. Other than that the food is delicious.

Grilled sandwiches are nothing to write home about. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Chipotle and Roast Beef with Horseradish. Didn't like the Chipotle, barely had any guacamole and wasn't spicy at all. Roast Beef had a nice flavor, Not enough bite. Maybe the regular sandwiches are better. Soups are quite flavorful, but lacking in texture... tortilla soup felt more like cream of tortilla. Tomato bisque is very light and sweet. Not a hardy bisque, more refreshing. Sweet tea is just ok. Desserts are average. The chocolate spoon cake is very bittersweet, Not great, But good. However, they have outstanding customer service and free refills! The food I might have given 2.75 - 3 stars, but cleanliness and great customer service makes them a solid 3.25.

I liked the ability to order online. It was ready when I arrived. The pick 2 offers lots of variety, I got a salad sandwich combo. The chicken salad was awesome. There sweet tea wasn't to my liking, but it's very popular. The teenage cashier was friendly and helpful. Plus I got a $3 off my next visit coupon on my receipt. I will return

This is my 2nd McAlisters in a week (different states), Hubby went for take-out for the hotel room and my order was half a bacon spud and an "a la carte" salad. He got there and discovered they had no spuds, which the girl at the counter seemed very sorry about (esp when hubby mentioned I was preggo!) so, through text, instead of my half a spud, I requested half a ham and cheese toastie, amended - no tomato, no pickle and requested they throw in some lettuce cucumber, red onion and ranch instead of dijonaise. The girl at the counter who took his order was determined to get me what I'd asked for, so she went back to the kitchen and made it herself!! What great service! My a la carte salad was as lovely as the last McAlisters, lettuce, cheese, cucumber, red onion, croutons and a small bucket of ranch. Hubby had the french dip w/mac and cheese (again!) and loved it (again!) This place rocks!! Great fresh, hot, tasty food, generous portion size and a reasonable price - also less than a mile from the Best Western, only way they could improve would be to start a delivery service ;)

Broccoli cheddar soup and a Harvest Chicken Salad sandwich are best. And the sweet tea is to die for. Free refills on Tea. The staff is friendly and courtesy.

Absolutely loved my experience! I tried 1/2 spud 1/2 salad! Both were great! Iced tea was amazing! Also, kids meal was only $.99 for the sandwich, side and drink!! Lots of room at this location! I will be back!!

If you have to go in do not go to this location. The customer service received is terrible. The young people at the registers really show their lack or maturity and don't seem to care about providing good customer service! Shame on the management staff!

Stopped in here with a group of people for lunch. And when I say a group, I mean about 30 people. Perhaps multitude or legion would be more appropriate. I arrived about 25 minutes after the horde, so I don't know exactly how long they were waiting. However, I was super impressed that although about 25 of our group placed their orders at the same time, the food began coming out soon after my arrival. My food only took 10 min to arrive, which must have been due to either a) divine intervention or b) a kitchen staff that has it together. I ordered the BLT which was delicious. Toasted sourdough bread laden with bacon, a little L&T....YUM. I was feeling particularly unhealthy that day, so I opted for mac & cheese as a side. It also was tasty, and not one of those overdone designer mac & cheese dishes that seem to be so popular. Sometimes you really just want a plain ol' M&C, and McAlister's fit the bill. Typically a deli is the last place on earth you'll find me. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up on the East Coast, and as a land-locked Kansan I can't get past steak and potatoes to see the virtues of a sandwich. McAlister's warmed me up to the idea of deli food, and I wouldn't be surprised to find myself feasting on a deli sandwich in the not so distant future.

Super, they serve very delicious food and love the shrimp salad. The variety of potatoes are yummy too. I love the cheese & chicken spud and their try 2 menu.

It was good. Nice sized restaurant with good sandwiches. The only problem that I have with the place is that it is too pricey for the amount of food you receive. The sweet tea is good, but certainly not the best I've had. It's worth a try and a good place to go for something different. I won't frequent the place, however I do appreciate the business ethic. It's a long story, but they catered to an employee's funeral that my wife attended with no cost to the family.

McAlister's offers a good selection of sandwiches, hot and cold with signature flare. There is a large wall mounted menu as you walk which takes a couple of minutes to review and see what is offered. Order too quickly and you're bound to miss something. The orange cranberry club was good, but their definition of lite mayo was out of proportion to the amount of orange cranberry sauce I received on my sandwich. I had to remove the rubbery bacon which rivaled that which you can have added at another popular sandwich place, as the texture and lack of flavor wasn't adding a positive experience. The chips I requested with the sandwich were piled high, and tasted quite a bit like classic ruffles. I do like the large cups they use for their tea, and they were happy to fulfill my request of half sweet - half unsweet tea. McAlister's was crowded as the lunchtime rush was in full force, but I was able to find a table without much trouble The runners will locate your number and bring your sandwich to you so there is no need to have to try and pay attention for a name or number to be called and then maneuver through a crowd with a loaded tray. They will also offer to get a refill of your beverage for you if the need comes up. A decent experience but nothing that really stood out on this visit. Maybe next time McAlister's.

This was my first time trying McAlister's. I've heard a lot about how great their tea is, so I made sure to order a big one with my meal. I don't know if it was the hype or if they were having a bad day, but I felt underwhelmed by it. The food, however, was pretty darn good. I ordered a delicious melty southwest chipotle sandwich, which I pretty much inhaled once it was set down in front of me. Overall for a chain deli, not bad! I'd come here again.

We stopped in here not knowing anything about the restaurant, and it was delicious. The girls working the front counter were very nice. Our food was delivered in a timely matter and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Great service, great food and a fair price. Definitely will make it back there.

We went on the recommendations of family. I went with the pick 2. Half a sandwich and a cup of soup. The Four Cheese Griller and the Chili were delicious. The rest of the group enjoyed their French Dip, Harvest Chicken Sandwich, the Country Potato soup and the Cheese and Broccoli soup. Food was delicious, prices might be a tad high, but it was very good.

I have eaten food from this location numerous times and it is always good. What we normally do is place the order using the online system which is very easy to use. I have tried most if the sandwiches and all are always prepared to my liking. My wife usually gets a salad and likes extra dressing which they always include plenty. We have a toddler and the selection gives us the option to provide him with a variety of healthy choices. When I arrive to pick up the order they have a designated spot to go so that you don't need to wait in line with dine-in customers placing their order. Make sure and get an iced tea and if you want they sell it by the gallon jug to take home.

McAlister's is really great, and this location is no different. The best sweet tea around, and wonderful sandwiches/soups. This McAlister's is of a fairly good size so there are always going to be seats. It was really slow when my friends and I came, which made it a little disappointing when we were never offered refills. Also, it didn't have a very clean feel but it wasn't necessarily unclean. It just seemed a little dark in the place.

McAlisters is a restaurant that is native to my home state of Mississippi. When the chain first popped up, the food was spectacular. Over time, the food has seemed to take a back seat to the desire of the company to expand its product. Needless to say, I was very surprised to see a McAlisters here in Wichita. I decided to give it a go on the off chance that maybe being so far from home, the folks in these parts would actually make the food what it should be. The decor is typical of the chain. Given that there was a lot of snow outside, the floors were dirty around the door, but that was it. The dining area was very clean. The girl behind the register was friendly and very helpful. I ordered and took my number to a table. Less than 5 min later, the server came to my table with my diner. I ordered my usually Memphian on a croissant. It was much better than I anticipated. They serve a vast array of different foods. Everything from your typical sandwiches, soups, and salads. This McAlisters reminded me of why I started going. Quality food for a decent price. It isn't subway pricing, but you do get what you pay for.
