I feel bad writing this review because the guys who work there are really nice. Yet, the sandwiches are not even as good as Subway. That's not saying much because I don't even like Subway. The bread is doughy and bland, no texture, the ingredients are so-so, the dressing is flavorless. The cheese is pedestrian. There is no choice of bread, limited veggies. On the record my favorite chain sandwich franchise is Schlotzsky's. It's hard to beat Schlotzsky's toasted reuben on black rye with tomatos. Jimmy John, claims to make the "world's greatest sandwiches." If this is true, they haven't traveled much, because I can think of dozens of sandwiches better than these. In reality they are the world's most mediocre sandwiches.

Meh. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It was really overpriced for what it was. I gave them a third star because they played a Death Cab For Cutie and a Radiohead song while I was there.

I really do like this place. My favorite sandwich is the #10 Hunter's Club, a yummy roast beef sandwich with provolone, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. Order it light on the mayo and add dijon and light onions. Outrageously tasty, I think. My impression is that the ingredients are really fresh and the meats are of a higher quality. Also, I like the atmosphere. It feels fun, youthful and upbeat to me. I like the energy!

I ordered the Tuna... Comes with cucumber & sprouts... Thought it sounded interesting but it's pretty bland, needs a fun sauce maybe instead of plain mayo. The bread was the highlight- very fresh. Atmosphere was also nice- The smell of fresh baked bread is always a plus! Service was friendly & prompt. As usual in sub restaurants... The sandwich $ was reasonable, BUT the add-ons are way over priced. Adding chips & drink nearly doubled my total. Although not thoroughly impressed, I probably just made the wrong sandwich selection, so I'll probably be back for another shot.

I have to agree with William A. on this place. I didn't find it to be special. The Vegie selection is just not as good as Subways. I liked the sandwich ok but If subway was next door they would be out of business before long...

Many of my friends have been ranting about how great Jimmy Johns is for a while now and I have heard so many good things about it, so my husband and I decided to finally try it. We were so excited. When we got there, we were greeted right away by a friendly man. The place was pretty small, so there was not much seating. We got up to the counter to read the menu and we did not feel rushed at all as the man waited patiently for us to figure out what we wanted. I was disappointed reading the menu because I thought there would be better choices with more sauces, choices, etc.. We ordered anyways because we had heard it was good. Our food was ready within two minutes. Very fast service. The sandwiches were extremely plain. Hardly any flavor whatsoever.. The bread was okay, but kind of chewy. There was barely any meat, almost no mayo, the veggies were fresh but there was hardly any on the sandwich!! I could have easily made a better sandwich at home for a lot cheaper. I prefer Subway, Firehouse Subs, Panera, Cinnamons, Goodcents.. Well I prefer anything over this place. Boring sandwiches but excellent service. We will never be going to Jimmy Johns again because we don't want to spend our money on less than average food.

Had a roast beef sandwich with lettuce tomato. Bread was dry and hard. Meet and lettuce was ok. But very plan sandwich. Got it to go. Service was ok

I had my first experience at Jimmy John's today. The place was clean and the service was great. I did not know how to order my sandwich, being a subway fan, so I ordered a sandwich and ask whether I needed to pick a bread or not. I hadn't finished getting my change from the cashier when the guy handed me my finished sandwich already wrapped. It was made on white bread, which I don't really care for, so the cashier gavel a drink for free. By the time I filled cup at the drink machine, the sandwich maker already made me another sandwich on wheat and gave it to me for free. He said, "no worries, it's your first time." Hats off to them. Oh, I have seen a couple of reviews saying the sandwiches were bland. In my opinion these sandwiches blow subway and all the others away. Nothing bland about them.

Love the Beach Club and jalapeño chips. My only frustration is the service always seems to be lacking. But not surprising for a fast food chain. Wish there were healthier options.

For some reason in my head, I've always avoided eating here. No reasons really, guess it just stuck with me. Well one of my co-workers was a huge fan of this place, so I figured, why not? The building itself is very small, so it's very limited in seating if you're going to eat there. So if you do plan to eat there, you may have to wait about 15 minutes to get a booth or seat. It's a very clean place, playing some interesting punk music choices and a few good songs. Alkaline Trio was one that stuck out to me the most. :) I ordered the #14 Bootlegger's Club which was Roast Beef and Turkey with all the fixings of lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I added provolone cheese which added 75 cents to the total from the base price of 5.50. Fairly reasonably priced because their ingredients are a touch better than Subways. When you add a drink or chips it adds it a bit close to 10 bux. The sandwich alone and a water is probably all you need to feel full and satisfied. After I had ordered it, not even 20-30 seconds passed my sandwich was already finished. 'I've been here about 2 times, and it varies depending on the foot traffic, you may wait about 3-4 minutes. That's pretty good, because Subway's system of making sandwiches is extremely slow. Every time I step into Subway it's at least a 10 minute wait in line, and an additional 5 minutes standing and waiting for your sandwich to be made in front of you. I don't know what Jimmy Johns does, but their are quick and efficient with their sandwiches. The bread used was really good, and in my opinion a bit tastier than Subway. The sandwich as a whole was pretty good, and the meat was fairly good quality. If time is short for your lunch break and you need something quick, come out to Jimmy Johns. They got great service and quick sandwiches. Another note: The cashier was so nice about my preference of eating in, that she got someone to clean off my table as soon as I got my food and was ready to sit.

I've been to this establishment more than a couple of times on my way to work. The service here is uneven, at times, I'd get really good drive-through service, and other times, I don't. The sandwiches are no doubt good, but with the price I'm paying, I'm expecting a lot more meat packed into my sub, rather than a few measley turkey slices, and definitely better service. The worst happened to me the other day when I pulled up to the drive-through speaker. The employee informed me that they were out of sub sandwiches... at 1:30pm, still a peak of lunch hour. Fine, so I reluctantly ordered the sandwich on wheat bread since I've never tried it before. There were two cars in front of me, before I finally pulled up to the drive-through. The employee didn't greet me and just took my credit card to swipe. After paying, I sat in my car for almost 5 minutes, waiting for my sandwich to be made, and usually they have it ready by the time I was done paying. In the time I was waiting, I noticed three trays of sub breads sitting in plain sight and one of the employees was making the sub sandwiches. I thought it was weird. The drive-through employee finally handed me the sandwich, and with a thank-you, he slammed the drive-through door close with a loud bang that it startled me. If the restaurant had to fill out a HUGE order for another customer, I'd appreciate it if the employee informed me and I would've understood instead of feeling so ripped off and lied to. No explanations were provided, and the employee's attitude was plain rude, giving off the vibe that I wasn't worthy of Jimmy John's. This wasn't the first time I've dealt with him at the drive-through, but this one was the worst. I'm a customer, and I like your subs, but your employee's atittude leaves a lot to be desired for. It ruined my day and worst, they didn't even give me napkins. I was left eating a soggy sandwich because they were in too much of a hurry and pressed my sandwich more than they should have, without any napkins. I'm definitely not visiting this Jimmy John's ever again. I emailed the Customer Complaint Resolution and got an email back asking for my phone number to resolve this personally. Why couldn't you provide me with YOUR phone number and I call you at my convenience instead of the other way around? Either way, I'm not going back to this restaurant until they teach their employees how to treat customers right.

Have you ever had a craving that was so strong that you had to go to a specific place to fullfill your every desire? Jimmy Johns is not one of those places for me. The food does not speak to what I was missing in other sandwich shops around town and if the desire for a sandwich were so strong that I had to eat one at that moment; the only way I would find myself in a JImmy Johns would be if I just happened to be driving by. Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are good, but just not amazing enough to be memorable. The place is clean and staff seems nice enough. All in all I give the place 3 stars because it's not horrible yet not quite on my list of favs. If you want your food fast and a good sandwich threw a drive thru then this is your place. Quick suggestion: More veggies (alot more veggies)\
