Word on the street was that this place was ranked in the top burger places of Wichita. My companion and I had to seek that out for ourselves. Not having a big sign out front for their restaurant made it a challenge to find Buster's but after it was all munched and grubbed, the U-turn was well worth it! Upon walking into the burger joint, I thought my confidant and myself had stepped into the wrong place! The restaurant is shockingly small but don't let that shy you away from their succulent burgers and hot fries. The kitchen is right there in the open so you can watch Buster himself make it for you. I found this entertaining! After we ordered our food, the woman pointed to the wall where we could obtain our beverage. The wall had cases of soda pop that we passed on and got a bottle of water instead. (We're so healthy!) It was about a 5-6 minute wait and then our burgers and fries were right in front of us. From the first bite of that juicy burger, I knew I was going to want to come back. The burger was well cooked and made my tummy happy with each divine bite. The fries were gone in a few seconds; they were simply delicious. Another thing I enjoyed was that the restaurant has a very small town vibe about it. If you are in the neighborhood and are curious about Buster's, go for it! I rated 4/5 because I was a little disappointed in the portion size. I could have eaten two meals but that's my only complaint.

If you look up the word "dive" in the dictionary, I'm pretty sure you'll see a picture of this place. It's kind of small so there's not much seating and they only have canned pop available but the burgers and fries are pretty good albeit greasy. The lady that took my order was nice enough but saw the guy who was doing the cooking get kind of rude with another customer that complained about how long it was taking to get his call in carry out order. If he's going to run a business that is open to the public then he probably ought get a little thicker skin...

It may be small and somewhat grungy but the food and service couldn't be found this awesome anywhere else! Delicious always

The main draw of this place is that it's a burger fries and drink for $5, which is unheard of these days. The burger is made with your garden variety pre-made frozen patties that are bought in bulk so they're just average tasting. The fries are okay but a bit soggy for my taste. I wasn't a big fan of drinking a soft drink from a can, they should get a fountain machine like everyone else. The people running the place seem a bit grumpy and aren't talkative at all. If you're on an extreme budget and don't feel like eating at home this would be the place to go.

The neighborhood burger dive is nearly a cliché at this point. In a small building that would be considered low-rent to anyone other than Jack's Coffee Shop, there's just enough room for a couple rows of tables, a broken cooler full of soda, and the burger-making operations in the back. The burgers are dirt cheap and the meat is plentiful. The meat isn't the greatest quality, and lacked a bit of seasoning when paired with the slice of cheese that sat between the two buns. While many in this town are content to let their burgers wallow in their greasy, ultimately causing me to ingest it, Buster's has the decency to wrap the burger in wax paper, wicking away some of the fat, though that piece of paper was at its limit by the time I finished eating. Fries were homemade, and in an attempt to get them crispy, they were cut thinner than average and fried extra long. It was probably a little too long, in the end, and the objective wasn't accomplished. The charm of these small burger restaurants is in their personality and intimacy - everyone knows each other, and they would probably all tell you that Buster's makes the finest burger in Wichita. Just like the patrons of TJ's, Ty's, Bomber Burger, and Sport Burger would tell you the same. For a nomad like me who's out to try every restaurant in the city, it's more of the same, though that's not to discount that - at the end of the day - Buster's makes a pretty good buger. But so does everyone else.

5 bucks for a yummy cheeseburger, fresh-cut fries, and a soda. Hard to beat that deal. They have a "wall-of-fame" where people who have achieved a major burger/ fry eating feat can tack their paper plate to the wall! Seating is some-what cramped, Cash Only.

Tastiest burger in town! And for the price, it's hard to beat. Just be aware that toppings such as grilled onions, jalapenos, pickles, ketchup, ect. are available but have to be specifically requested.

Decent burger for the money. Fries are homemade so that is a definite plus. OK but I might not be back. Worth going to though just to say you've tried it.
