High Blood Pressure at Applebee's

Most of the foods served at Applebee's restaurants are high in sodium. Unless you are visiting the restaurant or dining here in the group, there are hardly any options from the main meals if you wish to keep your blood pressure in check. You can rely on a few salad options though. If lucky, you may find low-sodium ribs as well at the restaurant.

Food : I ordered medium-rare and got well done. Steak was salty. Wanted roasted potatoes on the side instead of veggie and got literally 4 or 5 small pieces. Too much salt!!!!!!!! Customer service: JORDYN M I dont think you wanted to work today. That was not a good customer service at all. Never came to ask if everything is fine. I asked her if sweet potato fries wear half off after 9pm she said yes and she charged the full price and said its not a night time app. Wrong bill!!! Next time I would sure not want you as my server JORDYN M.

Service was horrible, took waitress over 15 minutes to greet us at our table, another 17 minutes to take our drink order, 14 minutes to come back and get our do food order. Food actually came before our drinks did. Food was cold and was just over all not worth my time and money. Will not be going back.

Average service. Food had some issues such as broccoli in the French onion soup and ketchup or some kind of red substance on the fries. Food tasted good it just seemed a bit sloppy. Very nice, new, and clean. Could be very nice but needs a little bit of caring.

Went there at 12 noon. Ordered at 12:08. Asked for it to go at 12:30. Still didn't have it at 12:50. Well.....we understand that we might not go back if ever in a time crunch, even though it wasn't busy. However, when we got out of there, our salads had no dressing.

Typical Applebees. Super busy on the weekends. Since I was by myself, I sat at the bar and ordered dinner. You would think that my drink would be quickly refilled because of my location, but I had to ask twice. And no the bar keep was not that busy since he was just rinsing cups. I had the mac n cheese with bacon. It was excellent.

My experience at this Applebee's was very disappointing to say the least. I've ate at Applebee's many times over the years and never walked away with bad thoughts as I did this time. I ordered the salsa Verde brisket nachos and my girlfriend has the regular boneless wings. When my nachos came out I tried the first one and my immediate reaction was to nearly spit it out. They were COLD. I don't mean like lukewarm or anything, I mean literally cold as though they had taken the meat from the fridge and thrown it on. It was so bad I called the waitress over and voiced my displeasure which is something I almost never do unless it's really bad. She got the manager who said she would have them remade. Fast forward 10 minutes she brought out another plate. I tried these and wouldn't you know they too were cold, although not fridge cold it was like they threw them in the microwave for 30 seconds but even the cheese in the middle wasn't even starting to melt. Still gross and unsatisfactory. Not wanting to be that whiny customer I proceed to eat as many as I could just so I wouldn't be hungry anymore. My girlfriend also mentioned her wings which looked strange were cold as well. I tried them and sure enough they were also cold. I realized they looked weird because the sauce itself was room temperature right out of the packaging material. The wings themselves had probably been in a holding bin for who knows how long. The only thing that was okay was the service as the waitress was apologetic and not argumentative. I can't say I understand why the food was so cold and terrible because it wasn't busy at all during the time we were there. I took the time to look at the other reviews for this particular location and as it turns out cold food was pretty common here. I wish I would have seen these first before coming. Either way I wouldn't recommend coming to this Applebee's if you are in Wichita because there are much better places to go that are close by.

Okay, 5-stars for our waitress, Brandi (Brandy?). She was energetic, sarcastic and made so many mistakes, our food was almost all comped. I think it was the cooks fault, but whatever. Brandi was a trip. loved her. 4 stars for the shrimp app - great! 2 for the potstickers. 1 star for the margarita.... It was served with olives. WTF? I sent it back, thinking it was an error, but they assured me that margaritas are served with olives.... disgusting!

The new menu is not very vegetarian friendly. I struggled finding a main dish that sounded appealing. I settled on a tortilla salad of some sort (leave off the chicken), but it always seems like a bit of a rip off to be forced to pay for meat I don't want on a salad. I wish the salad were a lower price and you had the option to pay extra to add steak, chicken, etc. That being said, the salad and spicy dressing was tasty. The service was fast and friendly.

Just no! Don't go. I am not a fan of big chain places, and this place is a reason why. Everything taste like it is microwaved or out of a freezer. I will never, ever go back.

Used the Presto screen to order appetizers. Cooks got the order wrong. The siracha shrimp was good, but There was a sweetness to it that I didn't like. Also the Mac and Chz dinner was sweet as well, which I thought was weird. Ordered steak medium, but got well done. It was also very salty... There food is pushing flavors over the top like they are trying to hard.

We were in the other night and the service was terrible. The hostess has an attitude when we walked in, and then proceeded to call the manager up and talk about a problem she had with another employee in front of the full waiting area. Then she was unnecessarily harsh to a guy who seemed new. When we were seated we had to wait 10-15 minutes for anyone to greet us. When they did it was the manager, she took our drink and food order. Our waitress only came over once shortly after our order was taken. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food with no refills, apology for wait, checking in on us. I realize that sometimes things get busy, but I'm always super nice as long as I'm kept in the loop. It was my 5 year old daughters birthday, and it ended up being a huge bust. She was super and hungry by the time we finally got the food and I just wanted to get out of there. I don't think I'll be returning to this location.

Just like other Applebee's. Great food and service but if you drink water you should look elsewhere. I know it's a minor issue for most but the water is just awful tasting here. This restaurant is just a couple minutes from my house but I'll still drive an extra 15 to another.

Crazy busy and always seems under staffed. We were there for over an hour and a half but all we ordered were appetizers. The staff is nice but they don't make any real effort. The food is mediocre.

Eleven of us arrived at 8:30 on a Monday night. Similar experience that others have had: Prepared a table for 10 when we told them 11, service was slow, could not fulfill all of our orders as the kitchen ran out of items, etc. They were not busy, and the staff seemed to be generally unhappy.

I don't expect 5 star service at Applebee's but the service should be MUCH better. This place is always so slow and they have the most apathetic staff I have ever seen. To their credit, the staff is EXTREMELY overworked and underpaid. This is a universal problem at most Wichita Applebee's. I blame the management and the Applebee's corporation more so than the staff. To be honest Applebee's food quality has gone down quite a bit in recent years as they try to keep prices low. I would rather pay a little bit more for better food and better service. So typically I try to avoid this place unless it's really late and everything else is closed.
