I'm not planning on going back here again. The food was just ok-nothing special. I had the chicken fried steak and my friend had the sirloin. The salads weren't bad. The bread they served was good. But, and this is a big but, the service sucked. I mean really bad. The gal we had was probably in her mid 20's (blonde gal) and just left us for dead on several occasions. Thing is, it was lunch time and she only had to work two tables. The atmosphere was just ok. It was clean-I'll give them that. But, from my experience, it's not work the money. You're better off at Applebees.

We took a group there on a Friday night, about 20 people. AWFUL..from start to finish. They bring out salads first, before people had even started eating their salads they brought the main course out (pre-defined plates of grilled chicken, baked potato). The chicken had been BAKED in advance and then put on the grill to give it "the grilled look"....they did not taste good. Dessert came - I loved getting a piece of chocolate cake so frozen and dry that I was not able to stab it with my fork. AWFUL place.

We had to wait for 25 min while they had an employee mtg. I had all sides which were quite good Baked potato. Rice pilaf, steamed veggies, sauteed mushrooms.

I went with my mother and her steak was so hard I couldn't even cut it for her. Service was ok but defiantly cracked under pressure of a large crowd. I want to like Montana's but needs some revising. P.s. The bear was kinda cool

My wife and I ate here with her parents and everyone enjoyed the experience. The steaks in my opinion was as good as any that I've eaten in Wichita. Service was excellent, very attentive and courteous. We would definitely return if we had the chance.

Maybe it was our timing, but we came here around 9:00 on a weekday. It was dead and only had 1-2 other tables there eating there. I had ordered a hamburger and a friend ordered a steak. We had ordered some Boulevard Wheat beers and probably only waited about 20-25 minutes until we finally got our food. What we got was not what we expected. First and utmost, the waitress had pretty much almost dropped the food on the floor. The steak came almost sliding off the plate. My burger while looked like any other burger, was extremely dry and burnt. 3 bites later, I decided that I was not going to eat it. I'm confident that this burger had been sitting on the grill for a long time. It was not juicy or even moist. It was like reheated burger throw on bread. The fries were alright. My friends steak was the same result as my hamburger. Clearly the steak was overly well done, dry and had no redeeming value of a steak. The waitress came back, and we voiced our displeasure. I decided that I was not going to eat there and not get a "redo" of the burger. My friend did, and the second time around the steak came out to satisfactory quality. Even though we came in the last hour of opening, no chef should push out something they wouldn't eat themselves. If you're serving food you wouldn't eat, then you shouldn't be working there. The service was not great. It wasn't even busy and she did not act like she cared. The only thing we could tell is that her cellphone was more important and getting out on a reasonable time was the main priority. Now it's possible that the service and food is better during different times, but I will not be eating here again any time soon.

The baby back ribs were not "fall off the bone," as described. The meat was too hard and dry to do that. The ribeye ordered rare was medium or medium rare at best. I liked my Louisiana pasta, but... My lunch mates who ordered a sweet potato side were informed they were out of sweet potatoes. Really? And the scum growing in the Men's room urinal was.... I would estimate... Weeks if not months old. The service was good, hence the one star.
