I ordered the Tuesday special (old-timer burger with cheese and fries) for only $5.49 at my table. My order was delivered in 13 minutes. The burger patty was perfectly cooked, thick, and delicious. The fries were plentiful, thick, and well-seasoned. My $2.25 soda was never empty, but tasted flat. I found the service to be friendly and attentive. The interior was clean, with classic rock music playing. It's a good deal.

I think we got the new guy. Food was good, but service was miserably slow. It took 2 hrs from the time we got to the table until the time we received our final check. The check was still wrong after multiple corrections. Never got a refill without asking for one, despite all drinks on the table being obviously empty. Removed the gaming devices from the table when we sat down, yet we were still charged for a game.

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. Last time we were in here I ordered a Bacon hamburger, which came with cheese. I asked them to not put the cheese on and not to butter the bun. A simple request really. When the bacon burger came out there was cheese dripping off the sides and butter slathered all over the bun. I asked the waitress to have them remake the burger. She took it back in & about five minutes later brought it back out. There is no way they could've remade a burger in five minutes. They had changed the bun and had pulled the cheese off. How do I know they had just pulled the cheese off and not remade the hamburger? Because there was cheese residue all over the burger. Blobs of cheese actually stuck to the burger. At this point I called the manager over and showed him what was given to me. I explained to him my dairy allergy and how this seriously could have hurt me. He said he would take it back and have them remake it again, as he watched them do it. I explained no thank you, I do not want another burger just give me a check for our drinks and my husband sandwich and we will leave. He tried talking me into staying, or comping my husband's meal, which I said no thank you, just give me my check so we can leave. He did end up comping my husband sandwich and we paid for our drinks. I admit the manager did try to make up for the incompetence of the kitchen. He didn't charge us for my husband's sandwich but there is no excuse for what the kitchen did. We will never be returning.

Mediocre food. Mediocre service. It's close by and better than McDonalds though. Last time we were here we waited for about 30 minutes just to pay the bill. This was after waiting 30 minutes for food. Everyone is friendly enough they just aren't very attentive and the food is just so so.

Our waiter was AWFUL he didnt bring drinks another waitress brought them. Our appetizer didn't come with napkins or appetizer plates let alone silverware. The he over charged us. Never going back!

I haven't been to a Chili's in forever (they all moved out of the Portland metro area while I lived there), but I was with a friend and our little ones yesterday and this was convenient for what we wanted. My friend and I both ordered grilled chicken salads for us and grilled cheese with a side of pineapple for our kids. Everything was about what we were expecting - not great, but not bad by any means. Our waitress always made herself available and everyone was patient and accommodate our needs. It's a good kid-friendly place to go for lunch or dinner, but I don't know if I would rush back there otherwise.

Food's ok but I've placed 2 to-go orders here and had 2 ridiculous experiences with the HORRIBLE and EXTREMELY unprofessional, absolutely SLOPPY servers. (And, I second the review about the trash, even in the to-go area.) The first time I was completely ignored and they even helped someone who came in after me, stood there and chatted about all kinds of personal issues and then finally asked what I was waiting for. The second time, I was overcharged slightly and the cashier insisted over and over that the tax was included in that one particular item. Is she really that uneducated or did she think I was? I won't be back.

I'm not really sure if it's just because it's a chain or what but Chili's doesn't thrill me. The food is just OK.. nothing outside of what I could get at a ton of other places. The booths annoy the heck out of me; I am tall and the table tops are not. I always feel like I'm eating off my knees. I haven't ever experienced "bad" food but it's not particularly thrilling either. Oddly enough, the Chicken Enchilada soup is one of my favorite things on the menu. So, all in all, nothing bad about this or any other Chili's, just not my style, I suppose. Oh.. and I HATE getting a wet table and/or menus, which happened both times I went to a Chili's recently. Yuck!

It's Chili's. meh... Really, I would give the food one star (except for the southwest egg rolls- but how can you be southwest and egg roll at the same time??). But the service at this location is always great. One a few seperate occasions my wife and I have had a quick weekend lunch and had shockingly good service. Overall, Chili's is decent if you are wanting the highly predictable chain experience. And at this location you receive service that tends to fare beyond the average chain.

I mean, it's Chili's people. Nothing overly special. Decent steak, lots of broccoli (which I asked for double since I didn't want the baked potato), and good cheese fries. The service was a tad slow and I think we saw our own server only once. A bunch of other people assisted and filled water, brought food, etc.

A little better than average. My mojitos needed a bit more simple syrup but I appreciated the rum content. Tingley! I usually order the same entree but decided to try something new. Fajitas! Shrimp and carnitas fajitas with perfectly grilled peppers and onions. You know that sweet caramelized onion flavor...yep it was perfect. The carnitas were tender and the shrimp were juicy, definitely not overcooked. There was a fajita fixins tower and warm tortillas. I used the guacamole and sour cream and that is all. My fork was all I needed. Well seasoned and sizzling hot. Not bad Chilis, not bad.

Went to this location a few days ago. The food was pretty good, and the 2 for $20 deal is nice - one appetizer and two entrees for $20. Our server was really nice and personable. Service in general was only okay, and it too quite a while to get our drinks. The technology they use is kind of annoying/unnecessary. They take your phone number if there is a wait, and even after we were seated, the "no wait" app texted me, called me, and left a voicemail. The little computers on the table are somewhat convenient to get refills and stuff, but it also seemed like an excuse for our server to not be around much. Basically, it's a Chili's. Decent food, hit-or-miss service.

Visited this Chili's while dropping the son off for school and sadly disappointed in the service. Outside of it taking over 14 mins to even be acknowledged (yes, I know we should have spoke up or walked out, but then it becomes a challenge to see how long we sit there) the food is almost always consistent so can't complain about that. Just be warned service is re-donk-ulass! Yea, that is a photo of seven chilis employees setting ten feet away as we continue to patiently wait.

Every time i go to a Chiles something happens. So I questioned going to this one. we stopped there cause I had to get some dogfood at Petsmart and it was in the area....had I glanced at the Yelp reviews....famous last words. It's not as bad as the one in Independence, MO. We were seated immediately. It was pretty busy and they seated us at a table with an obvious cold draft shooting right on our faces. But I let that go, and my mom when out to the car for her sweater. The dining area is kind of crunched like they pout too many tables in one place. The Royals were on one t.v., on the other t.v. they weren't. How odd. Eventually we were given water, and menus. We ordered. I had to ask for salsa. It eventually came to our table at a snail's pace. Also, in the middle of waiting for our food, the waiter offered us chips and salsa. I said, "Is it extra?" he hesitated and said it was. Eventually we received our order. I had choose 3 tacos, which were good, heck, the shrimp taco was the best. We ate. I wouldn't have hated waiting forever for our check, and we used the electronic table waiter. Wow, I hate those things, I think they are lazy. but atleast it got us out quickly without any more waiting. Really it was rather meh. But I don't live in the area, and won't be back when I go to Ikea.

We don't frequent this Chili's, but upon walking in this place, peering into the bar area, it seemed a bit on the dingy side. We were seated promptly at a large table for 6. Looking around I noticed small pieces of trash all over the floor. I'm not sure when they last cleaned up the place, as I'm sure the help had time, as the place was only half filled. Our server was very nice, knowledgeable, but not very efficient. It seemed to take her awhile to get us drinks, while she only had a couple tables. The menu is extensive, but the food at this location proved to be only average, I've had better meals and been greeted with cleaner surroundings at other chili's. My son and I did the 2 entrees for $20, including an appetizer...good deal. We did the chips and salsa app, which was fine, then came the entrees. He did the Dr Pepper baby backs, he enjoyed them, I did a simple bacon burger. It was nothing special, and I didn't finish it. I had asked for honey mustard for my fries, I ended up having to stop a another server and get it, as once our food was dropped, our server disappeared, oh well. The wife had the California flat bread pizza, which was supposed to be without onions, guess what...it came with onions. My other son did the 4 burger sliders, he ended up with a stomach ache and didn't finish them. My mother went with crispy chicken tacos, she enjoyed them, but would have preferred the shrimp tacos, but the server advised her they were hot, which was appreciated. My niece did a kids burger and fries...pretty sure they were ok. Overall, the level of service was below average, the meal was ok at best, but the dinginess of the place was a big turnoff.

My other favorite Chili's! This one is usually slightly more crowded than the one in Shawnee, but the staff is just as attentive. My meals come out fresh & correct and my drink is always filled. I have never have bad service here. Once we had an issue with a group of a horrible parent and her awful children sitting behind us, but the manager took care of us with a free dessert and a $20 gift card for a future visit. (We weren't the only people in the restaurant with a complaint about the group.) Better selection than Applebee's. So a first choice!

We always ask for the same waitress "Dawn". Why you ask ... good question! Dawn is the only only who treats us like guest not a burden. She is so nice, sweet, loves the kids, and always helpful. Our order is always right. Our drinks are never empty. Our kids always have a good time. The food is always good too. Havong Dawn there makes it worth driving accross town just to have a meal. Keep up the awesomeness!

We are missing some of our food. Again. So two stars for the fact that when you were talking to me you were nice. But still missing various components of our meals. And this is the second time that it has happened.

Chili's is usually pretty consistent even between locations, so we didn't have a lot of surprises here. As much as I hate to criticize for this, our server was incredibly over-attentive as well as his supervisor. We were trying to have a family dinner and one or both of them were at our table every two bites. It really got to be annoying... they weren't just stopping to look over, but interrupting us each time to yak and then if we said everything was fine, they'd still just linger. Wait staff has got to pay attention to the delicate balance between overly attentive and lack of attention. Plus, realize that families don't usually go to restaurants to chat with a stranger. If a family is there, they will probably engage you. I was even waving them both away from our table because it was really starting to tick off my dad, but they just ignored my very obvious gestures to still come up and say "So, do you need anything?" Grrr. I doubt we'll be back to this location for fear they may invite themselves to our next Christmas dinner.

Absolutely horrible service. All of the Chili's in Kansas have been bad experiences. Our waitress had probably 8 tables, we waited 15 minutes for drinks that another worker ended up getting for us. Another 15 for our appetizer, which was guacamole...didn't even require much time/effort to prepare. Food order came out wrong & the fries weren't fresh. They weren't even busy, they just gave every single table to one single waitress. Very disappointing and frustrating!

Went over a year ago and have not been back and won't be going back again. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they had a clear freezer burn taste. This was very disappointing. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it was evident that that the sauce went from the freezer in a bag into a microwave onto the pasta. It was clumpy, stiff, and lacked taste. No thanks.

We stood and waited 10 minutes for a table, we were 4th in line. I looked around and saw 10 tables sitting dirty not being bussed. There were 4 clean tables sitting and no one was getting seated in them. My wife and I decided that if this Chilis was this poorly managed when it came to seating that we didn't want to take a chance on how the kitchen was managed, and we left.

Can I give this place a zero!?! Sat down on a Sunday evening with one other group in the dining area, food took about 45 minutes to get to the table. Once the food came my mom had order the tacos which comes with rice on the side, she couldn't find the rice...well because it was under her tacos in a clear plastic baggy!!! (See photo posted!!). Had the manager, Julissa, come to our table to explain this & she was extremely rude, talked down to us and basically said there wasn't anything she could do! Then the rest of the wait staff all decided to walk passed our table to stare at us like we were a freak show!! This place is a joke!!

I had a gift card and decided to visit this location. I am so glad I did. The service from beginning to end was excellent. Our server, Shannon, was efficient and engaging. She was there with refills and extras. It was nice when Shannon wasn't around that another waitperson, who had a water pitcher in her hand, didn't pass us by because we weren't "her" table. She actually stopped, gave us refills and talked to us. Our meal was just house salads (full of iceberg) and a shared platter of combination fajitas. It wasn't anything special at all. But, I have to think the pleasant attitudes made our meal better.

Wonderful experience. Almost didn't go due to some of the reviews. We wanted a simple meal of chicken or country fried steak. Mashed potatoes and a veg. The cf steak was crisply fried wonderful flavor. The mashed potatoes fresh, hot good. Gravy like your gramma made. Broccoli flavored with a buttery garlic, seasoned salt. Great food, great service. Good margaritas and at a nice price.

I spent the whole night with cold sweats, a fever, and violent stomach spasms. Today, my entire abdomen aches as if I were beaten with baseball bats due to the painful convulsive spasms my stomach went through. I want to say that I'm thankful for not vomiting but maybe this would have been less painful had I vomited. The only thing I ate that day were the sliders at this Chili's. I came down with violent cramps within 30 minutes of eating there and my entire torso is in hell right now. The problem is, who do I blame? Did this happen in their handling or do they simply receive questionable ground beef that has been adulterated with pink slime (ammonia gassed beef trimmings)? I would call their management if I had any productive goals beyond venting but at a place with frozen pre-made food and institutional food vendors, you're kind of playing russian roulette with your intestines anyways. I mean where do I go with that conversation, "I'm sick, can you please make fresh food?" They do what they do and we all know this. A friend of mine later told me that she received raw wings at this same chili's so you begin to wonder if this is systemic here or something? I wonder about that claim though since sometimes the bones in wings will bleed out in the fryer and freak people out when they go playing CSI forensic scientist on their food, also I would imagine that their wings are already premade, is a raw wing even possible? I'm not idealistic and I expect a few ill meals in my lifetime. The only reason for this review is just that I'm bed ridden, bored, and generally pissed off since I had a case of Fat Tire in my fridge and I probably won't be touching it for a week over this bullshit. Is there anything else I can cry about? Oh, the service was phenomenal. I got refills without asking and I received that usual upbeat friendly attitude that this place is known for. Maybe I'll just stick to a salad next time, my wife is a vegetarian and she never gets food sick.

This is my local chili's that I eat at atleast 2 times a month. I have never had any problems eating here and the food has always been good. Aaron is our favorite water and he is always there. We usually sit in the bar area and I love the Strawberry Limonade....It taste like a strawberry orange julious drink...I miss OJ!!!

This was a very disappointing experience. This particular Chili's is a horrible place to come eat. My wife walked in with our daughter first and as I was coming up behind I noticed that there were a couple of waiters standing in the entry way laughing and looking at my family. Then the hostess was laughing and none of them were tending to my wife. It really made her uncomfortable. Well, it just so happened that we needed two high chairs and the hostess said, "Well, we have a booth that you can sit in". ARE YOU FOR REALZ? We just told you we need to high chairs and you want to sit us in a booth. So I thought, let's see if she knows something that I don't. As I thought, she did not think this through correctly, so I told her that it wasn't going to work and they finally sat us at a table. Well, let me preface this next part by stating that the waitress was decent. She took care of most of our needs, even though at times we had to call her. What really upset me was the experience in the beginning. So I went to speak with the manager and she said that she would address the situation with her workers, but that they were not laughing at my family. I am not a moron and I know what it looks like when you are laughing at somebody. In any event, they took care of our lunch. This is not the first time that I have had a problem with this Chili's. They have always done something to botch up our food, service or anything else. In fact, the food that was served to my wife was not properly cooked and she is not the type to complain, but I just can't stand indifference. I really want to give this place 1 star, but due to the fact that the manager was proactive, I will give it two stars. I would not recommend this Chili's to anyone though.

Yeahhh everyone's been to Chili's the chain restaurant. But just so you know, the Grilled Chicken Carribean Salad (minus the peppers, cilantro, and green onions) is the best salad I've had in my lfie. Oh and the skillet queso is to die for. Along with a mango tea, perfect dinner.

Just don't waste your time. I used to go there all the time before or after movies at Cinemark, and in fact, I've been going there ever since high school. And after my last experience, being served an undercooked (bloody and runny) piece of country fried steak, I'll never go back.

Went to Chili's recently with friends before going to a movie, and it got a little "Chilly" at Chili's. The experience started with being seated and waiting for friends to arrive. The server was friendly and polite when I arrived. My friends arrived shortly and we started to order. One of my friends had a relatively difficult order for a salad to start off the meal, I ordered a salad off of the menu, not something I created in my head, and my other friend ordered the soup and bean dip with chips. My salad was brought out as ordered along with the dip and chips, no salad for my friend or soup. We waited a little while longer and the soup came out but no salad. Eventually my friend had to ask about the salad. It was clear that the server didn't understand what my friend wanted and neither did the cooks. She had to go back and check on it. Still no salad, when confronted, the server said she thought she didn't want it anymore since it took so long. That was a mistake, my friend still wanted her salad. The salad finally came out, but apparently not what my friend asked for. Since I was confused about what she wanted, I wasn't surprised that the server couldn't figure it out either. This put a damper on the entire experience. All of my food came out perfectly. I ordered the bbq burger and enjoyed it thoroughly. My other friend with the soup and dip drinks a lot of iced tea. At one point there was no ice left in the glass from being filled from the pitcher with no ice. When my friend asked for more ice, he said the server rolled her eyes at him. I didn't see it. The server did make a nice recovery and overall the visit was ok, but my friends not being happy ruined the experience a little bit for me. I guess that's why I usually order off of the menu and not try to create something new. Since it's near a place I go to movies a lot, I'll probably be back. The server was obviously new and not as knowledgeable as she will be, and she did recover nicely. I'll just chalk that one up to bad luck.

We did not have the bad experience that the other reviewers did. Our waitress was wonderful and was very helpful. The food was great and the price was good. I believe most Chili's restaurants are setup the same (smoking in the middle). At least it is enclosed for the most part. Applebee's, at least in my home town, does not enclose their bar/smoking area and we always have to request the back corner in the dark.

It had been two years since we ate a Chili's before today and I have to tell you I don't feel that I've missed out on much. The host station was empty when we walked in, as it always is at this particular location. We were seated at a dirty table, the host tried to wipe of crumbs from the seat and table with his hands. Our salads came out the same time as our meals, but the waiter did apologize, so no biggie, it happens. I tried the new avocado burger. It was alright, nothing I would order again because it was pretty unremarkable. The side salad I ate did have gigantic croutons. In fact, they should have been classified as biscotti instead of croutons. I tried one and it was pretty bland and not worth the effort of trying to spear the beastly crouton with my fork. They did have some good looking drinks, I didn't have one because I have to be hydrated to give blood tomorrow but if I were to go Chili's again, I would probably have to try a few. Maybe it would make the food better.

Overall, this is a pretty decent chain restaurant. The service has always been average or above average and I'd say the food is probably my favorite of the chain gain (Applebees, Chili's, TGI Fridays, etc). The only real gripe I have is that genius layout common in many restaurants where they put the bar and all the cigarette smoke right in the middle of the place so everyone gets to choke a little bit during dinner. The good news is that the decor is a stone theme, so the smoke doesn't have you coming out of the restaurant with that greasy-ham-served-in-a-dirty-ashtray aroma on your clothes. Overall, if you are just wanting a good meal at an average price at a pretty clean restaurant, this is good.
