I highly recommend Arrow! Best coffee in Manhattan! The owner is very knowledgeable on coffee as well as very friendly and willing to help. The pour overs are always great, and my personal favorite here is a cortado. Their coffee is roasted by a roaster in Denver called Corvus, which does a great job with all their roasts. I'm in here several times a week for coffee and to do homework or just hang out. I always pick up my beans here; which are rarely more than a week past their roast date. They also offer a small selection of food and pastries. They stock delicious, high quality chocolate bars as well.

I went here once in the summer just because it was close by, and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the coffee is amazing. You can get an espresso and just sip it. They brew coffee without that bitterness that makes milk necessary at all those other places. You just want to savor it as much as you can, it's that good. It's coffee that makes you stop after the first sip and go "That's really good coffee!" Second of all, I really like the people who run the place. It's local, they're local, and they are very knowledgable and nice. I learned more about coffee in 5 minutes of eavesdropping than I thought possible. Their beans are never more than 14 days old, and they don't like relying on "blonde, medium, dark" roast descriptions because there's more complexity than that. Ok maybe I didn't learn a huge amount, but I found it all very interesting and encouraging. Third (and probably most important): THEY HAVE BOOZE AND AN AMAZING HAPPY HOUR! Yes it's boxed wine, but it's the good stuff! They have their own cocktail concoctions, although I think old fashioneds are their specialty. I don't normally like old fashioneds because of that weird cherry taste, but the couple I've had there were really nice, not too sweet, citrusy, and just a good sipping drink. The white russian was a little funky, because they used their own coffee mix instead of kahlua, and it was a bit thicker (think mudslide), but it was good as well. And they have a great bottled beer selection! In short, this is my favorite establishment in Manhattan at the moment. I liked them a lot for the coffee, and now that they have alcohol (and some food) I might just do all my eating and drinking here. It is a bit small, but very very worth it. Also, happy hour is Monday through Friday, 3-6 pm.

If you are visiting or looking for a new place to grab some coffee and lunch you need to check out this shop. They know their coffee and their brewing methods. And the monkey bread is the bomb dot com.

I really like Arrow.! I am a long time Starbucks member, but Arrow makes me second guess my decisions. The coffee there is really great, and the owner David Adkins is seriously one of the coolest and sweetest dudes there is. The shop is also really neat and cozy. I would highly suggest this coffee shop to many, what's not to love?

Visiting Arrow was the highlight of my time in Manhattan. Rediculously friendly staff, and really unique coffee options. Check it!

Arrow coffee is the best thing to happen to Manhattan coffee in, well, forever! Sweet deliciousness in every cup. David is super cool and knowledgeable. The coffee? Made right, from good beans. The hand pours are fantastic. Suspect the espresso is great, but I haven't really gone there. The lattes look dynamite. Pastries excellent. Music? Yep, it's good too. It's definitely a good thing! Get your act together and check out what these young folks are doing in our fair city.

Great little coffee shop to add to manhattan's coffee scene! They offer pour overs and it is similar to intelligentsia without all hipster snobbery. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Definitely hit this place up if you are in town. On a side note- the place is smaller and not quite as private but that means you can just sit outside :)

One of the best, if not the best, place to find a cup of coffee in Manhattan, KS. The guys working Arrow are super friendly and pull a great shot of espresso/brew a cup of coffee. Since it's in the middle of town, it's also more convenient than driving all the way over to Radina's Bakehouse (if you're coming from the west side of town). I'll definitely be hitting this place at least a few times a week.

A great place to get well made coffees and liquor. The Voldemort is my favorite iced coffee, and Ben makes a killer strawberry daiquiri. You won't be disappointed! Best coffee shop in Manhattan!

This place is awesome! I am only a tea drinker, so I can't speak for the coffee goers, but the chai lattes are delicious. They're the best I've ever had! They make their own chai mixes including a black maple and a vanilla chai. I love both mixes. They also have really good breakfast burritos. There are many other fun things I'd like to try such as their old fashions and bread pudding. So...to be continued!

My boyfriend and I were driving cross country and stopped at this place for a pick-me-up. After reading the stellar reviews on Yelp, we had high expectations for this place, but ended up being a little disappointed. The pour-overs that we ordered were blazing hot! An expert coffee barista knows that boiling water should never be used for coffee as it burns the coffee. Consequently, our drinks were pretty tasteless. After a few sips, they ended up in the garbage.

Arrow is a great local cafe. Located in Wildcat Landing off Claflin and Denison, it hosts a comfortable place to work or study, and has an additional seating space across the sidewalk in another space. At first, this was a coffee spot but expanded recently to offering cocktails. The coffee is a specialty drip coffee, but I do not know anything about coffee, so I left that to my brother when he visited - he really liked Arrow. On the first visit, your coffee or tea drink is free! I am not kidding. There is a frequent drink card (non-alcoholic) that you are given on the first visit. There are a variety of teas to choose from, including my favorite, green jasmine. Last Saturday we went out with another couple for dinner then came to Arrow for cocktails. The menu is extensive and the prices are very reasonable. I asked 20 questions of the barista, because Arrow has little twists of several classics and I do not know much about liquor. I ended up with the house-made White Russian and it was really good. I like the atmosphere here and the staff is very friendly.

Loved this great little coffee place! Everyone that works there is so knowledgeable about the coffee and they really take the time to share what they know. They do serve cocktails in the evening and food. No vegan options but everything else they have !

This place is an absolute gem! A friend of mine highly recommended it and I had to see/taste what all her excitement was about. Now I am highly recommending this coffee joint! It's small, but quaint. You feel such good vibes as soon as you walk in the door. I got a 12 oz chocolate hazelnut latte and was blown away. Let me tell you I am not a coffee enthusiast by any means, but I can see myself growing an addiction to Arrow's coffee. Not only was I blown away by the coffee itself, but also by the fact that I got my coffee for free! I had told the barista that it was my first time there and I wasn't sure what to order, and to that he inquired about my tastes and said first coffee is on the house. I was like shut the front door no way! It definitely makes a statement when a business offers you something free because they're confident in their product and know you will like it. I also ordered a Hawaiian sandwich and tomato pesto soup for lunch. They make a mean tomato soup. It was creamy perfection! Every time I'm in Manhattan, I will stop at Arrow. It kicks Starbucks' butt. Try it for yourself, if you haven't!

This is a great place for everyone - from the first time coffee goers to the more experience coffee aficionado. The owner, as well as the employees, are great at explaining the difference between the types of coffee and recommending what you should try, based on what you like. Every time I go, I try something new and each cup never fails to make me fall in love with this place over and over again. The shop is the perfect place for studying, meeting with friends, or just an afternoon by yourself with a book and a cup of tea/coffee. There is a separate seating section from the actual shop, which provides a more quiet and private area for those who want it. I love taking people here that have either 1) never been to Arrow before or 2) have never had coffee before. With that being said, if you want to try a new place that has unique drinks, a great environment, and awesome employees, I would definitely recommend Arrow. P.S. Try the Turkey Pesto BLT... Definitely a favorite.

Free first cup on the house, small little hipster joint stored away off the street and that serves liquor, Oh Yes I'll be back!

Crop-to-cup, craft-focused coffee culture has definitely arrived in the little apple, and it completely made my morning! There's no shame in their nerdy coffee game. Walking in you'll immediately find their shiny pour over station, but a quick glance at their coffee menu reveals that they are skilled in all of the latest and greatest in bean slinging, from aeropress to cold brew and everything in between. For those keeping score, they offer single origin beans from Corvus (a roastery out of Denver), but they have a solid tea offering as well, and I saw someone walk out with a mean lookin' Italian soda, so there's truly something for everyone. My iced coffee immediately made me a believer - it was vibrant, floral, and practically perfect in every way. (It was the Malawi if you're asking.) A few simple, house-made food options like brekkie sandos and burritos, muffins, and a smattering of savory sandwiches put the finishing touch on this charming little shop. It's an establishment that'll please the snobs and novices alike, and that's no simple task!

This is an excellent coffee experience for a beginner who wants to avoid condescending baristas or coffee aficionados who want it done right with the details taken care of. The food menu is concise, but very well prepped and has been super fresh on every visit. I love their turkey pesto BLT! If you can only take time for coffee at one place in town.... Do it at Arrrow!

Without a doubt, the best coffee in Manhattan. You won't find better product or better service anywhere else in town. Amazing and super friendly staff, brilliant coffee and outstanding food. You won't want to miss out on this place if you're in the neighborhood. And if you're not in the neighborhood... it's well worth the trip.

Visited today while in Manhattan for a couple of hours. Staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and watching them make my pour-over coffee was interesting. The coffee itself was delicious! All in all a great find in the Little Apple. Be sure to get a loyalty card, you'll want to come back!

Best coffee, service, and atmosphere in town. I spend many hours studying, reading, and talking here! The owner is extremely nice and knowledgeable about coffee. LOVE the pour over method they use to brew their coffee.
