Was getting very "hangry" while on a family road trip but didn't want to settle for the franchise type places all up and down the strip. We wanted to eat somewhere that we couldn't experience anywhere else and this place fit that criterion. It looks like a truck stop type diner straight out of a movie. The burgers were excellent. Really hit the spot. Our waiter was brand new, on his 2nd day, but eager to serve and with good manners. The lead waitress came over to help him when he struggled a bit. We were patient with him because I tried waitressing once and didn't last two weeks so I appreciate their service. The lead waitress - seemed like the only other waitress there - seemed busy but nice and called out to her patrons by name. The place smells funky, like toilette deodorizer when you walk in but we went straight to the back near an air purifier. Problem solved. Minus one star for smell and the prices were a tad high, but it felt good to support the local economy. My husband said the coffee was watered down. Overall I'd recommend this place for a family like us who are on an adventure!

The food here is top notch!! The hot beef sandwich here is real cook roast beef!!! Just like homemade food!!

This is one of our go to places when we visit Liberal. Food is always good. The servings are huge! Service is fast and friendly. Your cup will never be empty!

Driving through Liberal hungry for breakfast on our way home in San Diego, the Chuck Wagon had the fullest parking lot so in we went. Breakfast was served fast and fresh with a smile from the waitress. What else can you ask for? Okay better coffee with real cream would have earned them five stars. Nice place.

Stayed over night in Liberal after a looong day on the road. When we got on the road in the morning, We saw the lot full of cars and trucks ,usually a good sign. Stopped, good thing the breakfast was huge the eggs were cooked as I like them. The bacon was well cooked, my coffee cup was never empty. The server was very nice.

I knew this was a great place to stop as soon as the waitress called me "Hun". Weary from the road we stopped in midday and I was able to get the breakfast and coffee I had missed.

I was looking to avoid fast food in this small town and saw this family style restaurant by the road...Horribly disappointing! Fast food would have been better. Salad was old and wilted. Canned corn likely microwaved to warm up. Chicken breast should not be called chicken! It was a processed patty and I'm not quite sure what it was made of, but it was not a chicken breast...not happy after a long day on the road. How can they serve this crap and why are people eating it? Terrible.
