I remember when this business was the buzz of the town. Which doesn't take much.... Since there isn't much in town! The store hours are kind of hit or miss. Best bet is lunch time. I think he finally posted the hours outside. We went in one afternoon when he had first opened. Ross is actually a very friendly guy. He took time out to talk to us. Explained how he is starting slow and building his company up slowly. I admire someone who doesn't go in guns blazing and expect it to be an over night success. I used to drive by there on my way to work. He built alot of this himself. The decor is what you expect for a small BBQ spot. Limited I really was hoping the best for this place. I sadly was disappointed. The BBQ its self isn't so bad. I had the pork. Which should be pulled but was more chopped. Hubs had the brisket and said as always descriptive.. it was just okay. I think the down fall of the this place isn't the BBQ. Its the sides. I tried the Macaroni and cheese. and really never thought it could fail. It bombed. I don't know what all they put in there besides.. cheese and noodles but it was a big ole no for me. The baked beans were lacking alot. I promised the owner that if I liked the place I'd spread the praises and be a loyal customer. Its such a shame to give this bad review. I hope it improves and changes my mind.
