This was my first trip ever to any Papa Murphy's I let them know that and the lady working the register who looked like the owner or manager was so very helpful. She explained everything to me and made sure I knew how long to cook my pizzas. I was very very impressed.

Had the bestest time last night! The patio is amaze balls now and the pool sticks were good too! The juke box has an awesome selection and the staff is on top of it. I will make this a reg place. Good atmosphere.. Great company and drinks. What more do you want?? :)
First time here. Totally remodeled and very clean friendly and inviting Burgers and steaks, along with some chicken. Diffidently coming back.
Best customer service I have ever had. Great food and quite the nice little environment! The couple who runs the place were so incredibly kind! I don't always give yelp reviews but I just had to share! We drove in from Texas on a road trip and were so impressed!

Love going here, food is always yummy and service is quick. Staff is kind and always smiling.
Very unprofessional!!! We ordered 3 different meals and 2 were pretty good. My selection was VERY bland, every bite tasted the same. It was not good. When the server asked how things were I mentioned I did not like my meal, and had pushed it away while sharing the other 2 peoples meals. The lady owner came out and literally started arguing with me, in front of other patrons and wouldn't let it go for 4-5 minutes. Then she walked past us several times making snide remarks about me. Then the cook came out and the argument continued. He took offense and kept arguing with me. I ended up paying full price for an undesirable meal just to shut them up. The lady owner handled the issue so poorly and unprofessionally that she ensured we would NEVER return...EVER.
This is a local restaurant with a family feel. Husband and wife run it and work it so sit for a little bit. Even though the restaurant was a little busy it didn't take long to get our dinner. I had the curry shrimp which was a good choice. We also had egg rolls which are hand rolled daily we were told and Crab Rangoon for appetizers both were very good, maybe cooked a little too long but fine. Overall nice people with good service and good food which by the way is a plateful for a good price too.

Best overall restaurant in Andover. Thursday evening rib night is a must. I have also tried Loafers, hamburger steak, wingdings, and pizza. Service is awesome, prices are great.
While Poplar was on my radar for while, I didn't really consider it a priority until the foofarah from Picasso started last month. Then one boring Saturday afternoon I was sitting around contemplating possible dinner options and saw the proprietors were from Buffalo. If there's one thing Buffalo, NY knows, it's wings. If there's another thing, it might be pizza. I jumped in my car and drove out of town. The biggest thing you should know is that image that you have in your head when you think pizza and wings restaurant? Forget it. The population that packed the place even on a Saturday night was largely older folks and families. And no one was eating pizza nor wings. Rather, they seemed focused on the fried chicken. Okay, it's still chicken and it's still fried, so we're still in wings territory, so I ordered ten of THE HOTTEST WINGS THEY HAVE. Also, a slice of pizza. Given the crowd, I wasn't expecting the wings to be particularly hot even at their maximum, and it turned out to be a good guess, amounting to a flavor that is overall very consistent with traditional buffalo sauce. It paired well with the big, whole wings, which at ten pieces was enough to serve as a meal. Rest assured, the Buffalo (place) continues to live through those buffalo (wings). Buffalo buffalo Bufallo buffalo. Less impressive was the pizza, which - though the dough was made fresh, the sauce was blahdy blah - a style best categorized as 'generic', and not really worth my time. I noticed Poplar offered 'Texas toothpicks' on the menu, which is a dead giveaway of their reliance on Sysco products - so much so that I was not the first person to actually bring it up in my party. Still, it's not like I expect Poplar to go out and slaughter the chickens themselves, so it's not a particularly big deal depending on what's ordered. What's more important is that, despite their heritage, they're a restaurant frequented by Andoverans who are looking more for comfort food than anything else.
We really enjoyed poplar as we were traveling. Thanks to the other reviewers we gave it a shot. Pizza was great and kids enjoyed food too! Give it a try!!!

Wow! Amazing food! What a nice treat on our long road trip. Glad we looked places up instead of just doing the ole fast food off of the highway. Clean, nice decor, friendly service. Great place!
Terrific little restaurant off the beaten path. We had the aioli pasta, house salad with chicken and the brusco sandwich. They were all beautiful to look at and delicious. My only critique might be my salad was slightly over salted. Wonderfully polite server too.
Try the Poblano soup! It's amazing! Sandwiches are very good too. It's the only good restaurant in the area. Friendly staff also.

5 Stars. 1 Supports the Troops, really that's 5 on it's own. 2 Great Burgers and Curly fries. My the other burger place I like, you can't even go inside so added bonus for sit down, table side and a sweet patio. 3 Old school dive style bar with a super friendly staff, that gives you that feeling after you have been a few times like you are visiting a buddies place, The service has always been consistent for me here and better than first expected. 4 The daily Specials are always an added bonus going to class down the street. Great bar food hats off to the lady in the back of the house grilling. 5 Great place to get away from the campus and study a bit for sure. Today's bill $5.00+ tip No WiFi I was able to setup my hotspot.
I was very tempted to give this place a 2 star rating but could not do so simply because the burgers here are very good. The overall atmosphere, cleanliness, and speed of service are all lacking but gosh darn it the burgers are still great. I have been here probably 5 or 6 times since moving to Kansas and I will probably be back but I would warn would-be patrons that the wait times for food can be quite lengthy. The overall atmosphere is typical of a small town "hole in the wall" bar and the cleanliness and condition of the building are somewhat off-putting but the burgers are still very good and the beer is cold and cheap. On that note, be aware that this place does not have a full bar. They have a few domestic beers on tap and probably a little more extensive selection of bottles and cans but do not serve mixed drinks. You should also be aware that they currently only take cash (there is an ATM in the building). The building is not very big but they do have a patio out back that is enjoyable during good weather.
Good burgers and beer. Nice folks and family friendly. Try the corn fritters! The patio is great when the weather cooperates. Don't forget the jalapeño relish!

First time, we enjoyed the 4 course dinner for 2. Great selection and phenomenal taste and quality of each course. Service was fantastic. Awesome going out experience! We did have reservations, but got there early for drinks at the bar. Bartender seemed pretty busy, but kept things moving.
Give me a break, in a country club, but not country club quality. High prices, stuffy service, below average steaks and presentation. Lots of advertising spent in area, Don't believe it and spend your dollars elsewhere.
Should have believed the bad reviews, hoped it meant they simply had a bad day or two. We loved the original Kansas City Hereford House and hoped for a similar experience on our anniversary. Our mistake. #1: Stood at the hostess station being ignored by staff walking past for nearly ten minutes, a gentleman who appeared to be a manager finally wandered up (had been standing nearby) and seated us. #2: After a wait of ten more minutes, our waitress arrived and took our order - the dinner for two. More than twenty five minutes later, our appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) appeared. During the wait, both a man and woman who appeared to be managers walked around talking to the regulars and ignoring the tables obviously waiting for food or service. During the entire time we were there, the patio and dining room remained less than half full. #3: Forty five minutes after we arrived, we finally received our salads, at which time we expressed our frustration (nicely) to the waitress who said the kitchen was 'slammed'. With less than twenty tables? #4: One hour and twenty minutes after we arrived, we finally received our entrees. We expressed our displeasure again to the waitress, who offered to have a manager talk to us. We commented that both managers had been walking past us for more than an hour and didn't seem to be concerned. We also noticed other tables experiencing the same delays in receiving food. As we ate our belated entrees, the female manager who had been ignoring us suddenly appeared to ask how everything was. We explained our dissatisfaction. After we received our dessert and check twenty minutes later, she reappeared and offered to pay our bill, if we would agree to come back. We declined. Hope that was objective enough. Food was okay, not up to standards of KC Hereford House now closed. Lesson learned.

Was traveling through town and this was the first place to stop and eat. Will definitely be back when we pass through. I judge a place by how much my whole family likes/eats from their meal. There was nothing left from any of my four kids. It wasn't crowded. My husband had the Heisman and the rest had chopped beef sandwiches. Good side options as well.
Wanted to try BS and here is the result. The sticker shock for two meals hitting almost 40$ started me off with a bad taste in my mouth. I thought food was good but probably a bit pricey. Didn't like their beans but they do have good sauce. If your willing to throw down about 25% more than you should then give it a try. Don't however try to take a group here for lunch, my spouse tried to call and get a reservation for a group of 8 for a business meeting and the manager on duty told her they don't accommodate groups during lunch unless they wanted to walk in at their own risk.
After paying $40 for two people, I was hoping this place would satisfy my craving for good bbq. It didnt. Brisket was so dry I couldn't eat it, even with bbq sauce. The "hot" sauce was not the least bit spicy. Very little difference in flavor between the 3 options. Ribs were average, little if no seasoning, very bland. Will definitely not be making a trip back here. Very dissapointed.

We have had great experiences here. They have gluten free pizzas ( good & crispy). On Tuesdays it is buy one get the second free! They have our order in the computer for quick ordering. We think their Hawaiian pizza is better than most ( they add bacon & red peppers) and worth a try.
Normally love Dominos. Tonight, however, I fell for the "Now Crispier Than Ever" wings. Big mistake. These were the fattiest, soggiest wings I've ever had anywhere. Nothing even remotely crispy about them. Quite disgusting, actually. If we hadn't had friends over, I would have taken them right back. Instead, they went into the trash. Stick with the pizza, and avoid the wings at all costs!

I have eaten at Las Palmas about 5 times. I have been sick from Las Palmas 2 times. 2 out of 5 might not be a bad ratio for shooting 3 pointers in basketball but it sucks for food poisoning at a restaurant. I want to like this place, I really do (hence eating here again after the first time I got sick)... but I can't...they need to work on quality and cleanliness. The prices are good, the quantity is very good, the atmosphere is alright, and even the flavor of the food is pretty good (hence the 2 star rating instead of 1) but... I can't give a restaurant a good review when they have sickened me and other members of my family on multiple occasions.
My first time here I ordered the chile con queso thinking it would be decently thick. However it came out looking like milk with hamburger chunks in it. I ate one bite. No more words but ew. And to add, our server was reluctant about our service. She gave us no straws.
We really enjoy this place. Tasty chips and salsa to start of the meal, and good margaritas. The margaritas aren't real strong, but they are tasty. The recommendation for the molcajete is a good one. The combination plates are pretty good also if that's what you are into. Prices are inexpensive, and the service is good but not great.
