I have only been one time so take my review from that perspective. My wife and I sat on the deck and observed the happenings in the channel - definitely recommend!! My wife had a chicken salad and I have the Fish & Chips basket. Both items were good - not outstanding. The cole slaw was very good. The homemade tarter sauce was excellent! The fish was very good. We were very disappointed with the service. Granted the place was very busy when we were there on a Friday night. We felt like the regulars (locals & lake owners) got very good attention. The rest got neglected. Out waitress forgot to bring my mixed drink and walked by our able COUNTLESS times without even checking on us. It did take a LONG time to get our food too. Overall....I would recommend this place to try at least once - especially if you sit on the deck!!

It is a fun place to hangout with friends and have a drink. The service was great but the food was bar food, not much to right home about. Will go back because we can drive the boat right up and have fun.

I'm from California but when I'm visiting Indiana, this is mine and my families favorite spot. It's in the perfect location as you can pull right up to it in your boat. Pretty bummed they close the bar early on weekdays. The food is good and the locals are my favorite. Thanks for a solid good time-all the time. Until next time!

The all you can eat Walleye is really good, the amount of fish given on the first serving is so large, you will probably not ask for more. I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, no flavor... Not so great.

I come for the broasted chicken. The atmosphere is colorful. It's definitely a part of the local lake culture.

You can tell the local economy is hopping when Coody Brown's is hopping again on Thursday night. So, 2 stars just for the youthful clientele, some playing darts, some sipping Alpha King, a new addition to the somewhat limited beer selection. As for me it was Crown on the rocks - not terribly generous but I've seen much worse. For dinner I had the the hot ham & swiss club with a side salad. The latter was fresh, generously dressed with bacon, onion tomatos and fresh croutons. The ham club came with a 3/8 inch slab of grilled ham that made the bun look kike an English muffin. It also included 3 slices of bacon, melted Swiss cheese, lettice, tomato and slathered in mayo. I would eat this again. And again. Coody's is worth a stop when in LaGrange County lake country.
