Tim’s Awesome Bbq

Reviews:
I cam here with some friends from work. Drove up to find a converted gas station to restaurant set up... I knew I'd be in for a treat. I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was with a group (two of them from Alabama) and some of them didn't care for the BBQ, even going so far to say it was the worst they'd had. I, myself, found it quite tasty and , like most other reviews, the sides were great! My biggest complaints... no liquor license, so no beer and expensive drinks.
Always good food at Tim's. Pulled pork and brisket are great. Many good options for side dishes: two types of potato salad, two types of Cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes.... They also do a great job of catering.
I read the reviews and on a recent business trip decided to visit Tim's! It was okay, definitely not the best BBQ ever. I ordered pull pork, corn and green beans. The sides were delicious - green beans well seasoned. But it was just okay. Nothing to right home about. Plus, there were upcharges for extra sauce, water, etc. They did have a vast menu, but I probably will not visit the next time I'm in town! The staff was friendly, and the service was nice.

Taco Bell

A "Better" Taco Bell. Appears to be "Brand Spankin" new, as its modernized "inside & outside." It's clean, & the servers cordial, & the food was fresh & plentiful. In the midst of lotsa shopping possibilities; "Wally-World," DILLAR TREE, Hibbett Sports, GOODY's, & more. Just a short few yards off of the U.S.41 "Boulevard," makes it a good "BREAK" place, while traveling.

Taco Tierra

Reviews:
Taco Tierra is a local favorite for fast food. It is not authentic Mexican food, nor does it pretend to be. Some of my favorites are the fish tacos (Fridays), shrimp tacos(Tuesdays), sancho supreme, and chili dogs (seasonal).
Love this place! They are super fast and the food is worth the prices! They have the best ice ever!!!
This place was a heck of local Tex-Mex treat! I was in town on business for a week, and indulged twice in a Sancho with Nacho Papas. The Sancho was a run of the mill, but tasty burrito on which I ordered some Kickass sauce. The salsa lived up to its name, giving my tongue a fiery yet flavorful kick. The Nacho Papas, essentially home fries covered with zesty nacho cheese sauce, hit the spot. They can be upgraded with more toppings, but I stuck to the basics. For dessert: a warm, crispy churro with a Bavarian cream center. A taste of fried heaven! I've heard comments on this place both positive and negative, but I say unto you, Taco Tierra is definitely worth a try. Be careful though, you may get addicted!

Donut Bank

Reviews:
This is one of those that is tough to assign stars to. I was killing some time in Princeton, Indiana, and desperate for coffee. I found an adorable cafe. Closed. Everywhere they might conceivably have coffee...closed. I searched Yelp and reset my GPS to drive a few towns over, when I spotted Donut Bank. My 'stay away from sugar' rule was out the window as soon as I stepped inside. It smelled like donuts of course, but the smell of donuts is a great smell indeed. I ended up with a coffee and a chocolate covered cinnamon roll (YEAH) and happily wasted a few hours away using their free wifi. It looked like a renovated Taco Bell, which was a strange feel for a coffee/donut place. The coffee was as good as any other normal coffee, and the donut wasn't mind blowing but it was good. Would I pick this place over a little local joint? No. Did it rescue me and comfort me in my hour of need? Yes.

Do you even dip? If you offer dipped cones, at least teach your employees the correct way to dip a cone. That means that if it is barely covering half of the cone, you aren't dipping it enough. It should create a seal between the ice cream and the cone, otherwise you create a melty mess.

Los Aztecas Mexican Grill

Nothing spectacular, nothing great, just ok at best. Located between the Subway and the Marathon gas station. Friendly? Walk-in and a staff member points out a table and tells you to go there. I ordered the carne de azada, three stale flour tacos with chopped beef and rice and diablo sauce,(very spicey hot!) -unfortunately rice and beef had very little flavor, but were served hot! I liked the chips and salsa. Salsa had a fresh flavor with just a bit of heat. The desert cooler was running in the high temp red zone while I was theres, so pass on the GFS deserts. Oh yea, I felt real sorry for the family in the next room, daddy spent most of his time texting vrs talking with his 4 kids or wife. Bad boy. Advice: bypass this place, if you have to have mexican flavor in Princeton hit the bell, Me, I am going to Jared's favorite place & now that I know El Rodeo and this place are owned by same folks - saved me a trip there. Thanks for that heads up. Finally, hope they fixed the A/C, 104 outside - 90 inside.
Prices are reasonable. Salsa is puréed tomatoes with a little spice (I prefer more sophistication in my food). Average service and food. As long as you lower expectations before going, you'll leave satisfied. It's not like there's much of an option in this city if you don't want fast good. Just sayin'.
I have a hard time deciding between here and El Rodeo...unless it is Wednesday; El Rodeo has half-price margaritas on Wednesday. If you find yourself indecisive, don't worry...it is operated by the same people. Most dishes you can get at one, you can get at the other.
