Mr G’s Restaurant & Lounge

Reviews:
Do not go into this restaurant expecting cool, chic, or upscale. Mr. G's is dive bar in a small town. It is an OC institution and many of the people there have been there for years! It is my favorite burger place. Their food is always good. This is simple bar food at it's best. If you like local bands, this is the place to go. Things can get rowdy here, but it is always a good time.

I'm a fan because their pizza is different than everyone else's around us. They have a sign in the lobby stating its the cheese they use. The chicken fajita pizza is well worth a shot if you're in the mood to try something different.

The prices are fantastic. You get a lot of food for your money. Everything is all homemade. I come here whenever I am in the Osceola, IN area. The staff is very friendly. I've been coming here a few years now. The management is cool as they allow me to change a few things on my Greek Chicken Wrap when ever I come here at no extra charge. Instead of a romaine Greek salad I usually do a 1-2 dollar up charge and have them use spinach instead. The appearance on the inside is very clean and organized. The bathrooms are small but very clean. The appearance on the outside is litter free.
When did this place go down hill? The prices for everything seemed 2-3$ more then sinilar places. Service was slow, i didnt have anything nice to say about my recent visit here.
A standard and good breakfast place. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere is typical of breakfast places in the area- booths, 4 top, 6top tables. Everything is clean. I liked that you can order off the lunch menu, even at 10am. My dad got a patty melt and it looked quite good. I ended up ordering over medium eggs, bacon, and hash browns. All were good and satisfied my "diner breakfast" craving. Their menu is pretty varied, and I have only really tried their breakfast items, and a few french fries stolen off my dad's plate (they were good). I would like to try more of their lunch items in the future.

Between the Buns

Reviews:
Table was dirty outside in the patio but other than that, no complaints. Our waitress was very friendly & attentive. Food was prepared in a timely manner and was good. Band was excellent that night, as well.
2 stars for TV's at every table. Place serves complete garbage, at all locations. Another example of why everybody in this town deserves to have diabetes.
For as much hype and Between the Buns gets I honestly think they're just meh. The burgers and sandwiches are your typical bar fare and the prices are just as average. The drinks are reasonably priced and the Papa Smurf is pretty fantastic. Service is hit or miss depending on how many drunks are hitting on the waitresses. Overall it's your typical small town bar.
