Healthy Meal suggestions for Logan?s Roadhouse

Good size portions and price was about par for what I'd expect. The waitress was able to easily accommodate out party of 8 at 5 pm Service was friendly and prompt. You can pitch peanut shells on the floor again until the next time some opportunist tries suing them over a trip hazard. The light meal of fish, salad, and broccoli was well prepared and tastey with the exception of the broccoli being a tad over cooked.

Seriously the worst dinning experience I've had in months. Waited 30-40 minutes for food to arrive after ordering. Had to return steak 3 times before walking out. Wife's steak was dry and potato wasn't cooked. My suggestion is to hit up Texas Road house a couple miles south.

Haven't had Logan's in several years but we decided we wanted steak and it was close so we stopped in. We were seated immediately and had a moment to look at the specials. Our waitress, Marlea, greeted is with a lot of energy, friendliness and a sweet Kentucky accent. She was obviously a very experienced server and did a great job with any questions she had as well as had a couple suggestions. I ordered the Kansas City strip steak and found out that they were out of it after I had ordered. Marlea apologized and I changed my order to the ribeye. The ribeye was pretty good but it had a lot more fat than I had expected. I usually eat filet whenever I go out. My fiancé had the sirloin steak and it was a thick cut like a filet. I tasted it and it rivaled the flavor and tenderness of a traditional filet without the high price. I would certainly eat here again. The service was outstanding and the food was good.

It's a cool concept that you have peanuts before your meal. Food is good. Not super memorable experience. I will come here again. Reasonable pricing.

The only positive to this restaurant was our waitress. She was super sweet and very honest about the menu. The food was awful. Our waitress told us that a large amount of people send their food back. The steak was so dry that I could barely force myself to eat it. I would definitely recommend going to longhorn or outback over this.

Service was not good. Came in after the lunch crowd with a softball team waited forever to get seated. Then they crammed us in the back corner of an uncrowded place with not enough room for everybody.

It had been more then a year since we had gone to Logans. We were surprised on a Friday night there was no wait, We quickly realized why. The quality of food was terrible. The steaks were awful. The fried shrimp was soggy. The fired pickles were greasy. The bacon burger was dry and just horrible. Even the rolls were bad. (So drenched in butter the were soggy) Of the 3 meals ordered, not one of them was good. Won't go back again. Sad. They used to be consistent.

I have been to this Logan's a couple of times now, and have mixed emotions about our visits. Although on both occasions the host, servers and managers were super friendly and eager to please our orders were mixed up and way under cooked or wrong altogether. Each time all we had to do was say the word and things were eagerly corrected, but a steak is just not the same when it has been "played " with by being cut into and thrown back on the grill. We also don't like the fact that half the table has finished their meals when our recooked beef hits the table for the second time. I have to say the delicious rolls were served piping hot and the salads were good and to be fair like I acknowledged above half the tables food was served correctly with the right sides and temperature. Each time the managers had been made aware by our servers about the mix ups and did come over to the table and apologize for the mix ups . Maybe in the future offering to adjust the bill or a complimentary desert may help to ease the sting of future diners whose meals are not up to par. Just a little food for thought !

I tried to have lunch at Logan's for the first time today at the bar... No bartender in sight for 5 minutes, and then all I got was an I'll be right with you and was supposed to bring me a Coke. Another 5 minutes go by, and now I am really pissed and noticed little ants crawling on the bar top! At this point I walked out and told the hostess (who didn't seem to give a shit) that they need to get the bartender some help. 10 minutes with NO BARTENDER and friggin' ants! EPIC FAIL! I will not be coming back for a return visit. You charge all that $$$ for food, but you don't have a clue to have enough staff for a Friday lunch hour, and have ants all over the place? HELL NO!!!

Very slow service tonight. Half of the tables are empty and there's a 20-30 minute wait. Something must be wrong somewhere.

Mediocre food. Inconsistent service. Dining companion had to ask about beverage he ordered multiple times before it finally came much later when we all had our food. Our orders were also Incomplete when delivered to table and everyone had to ask for items to complete their order. If you're looking for a cheap meal, and don't mind these issues, it can be a affordable place with a coupon or by ordering a 2 for 1 special.

Female bartender made me wait an extra 30 minutes before she went to pick up my carry out order. Horrible horrible service never coming back. Bar area was also very dirty. No manager to be seen to complain to

The last 2 times my boyfriend and I ate here, we had gnats fly around our booth the whole time. We even killed one that landed on our bread. When the manager stopped by to ask how our meal was, we respectfully explained the issue and showed him the dead gnat. We only received a quick apology and he offered to bring us more bread. His apology was insincere and he acted as though we were bothering him. Really? If you don't want to know how our meal was, don't ask. Not going back.

This was quite possible the most uncomfortable meal we've ever paid for. Our server argued with me on my order, after I read the menu back to her, since what I ordered was on the MENU. Then, our food was delivered by someone else, who didn't bring us the the missing items we needed. I waved at 2 servers, who, ignored me, then finally walked up to one to ask for our missing baked potato. She couldn't find our waitress, so asked what we needed and got it for us. 20 mins later, our waitress showed up and I told her about all the missing items, she sent the manager over who said, and I quote "I heard we were late with some stuff... Well shame on us." And walked away. 20 more minutes and our waitress didn't come back and again we had to ask for someone to find her and get our bill. That waitress came back and said "she'll be here in a bit". 10 more minutes and and manager saw us looking around and sauntered over and we said we needed our bill and said AGAIN "we'll, shame on us". Someone other than our server brought our bill over. She eventually showed up,with the receipt to sign. We were in Noblesville for the Tom Petty show, celebrating our 10 year anniversary... Thanks for the worst food and services we've ever had.

Another first for me while visiting Indy on business, went here for a lunch and the food and wait staff was great! Ordered the meat heads and they definitely didn't disappoint, I did get a touch of indigestion afterwards but they were still great going down lol! Will definitely be returning to sample more of their menu!

Stopped for dinner by myself and had the Angus T-bone. Perfectly prepared and seasoned, beer was very cold and service excellent. Very good for a chain, better than most.

I love the salads at Logan's and the chicken breast are always perfect but the smoke from smokers at this location is really, really bad and needs to stop. Not going back until it does.

Prime Rib is always good. Steaks are not 5 star, but Logans never let's you down when you're ready to get your carnivor on! Good prices here too.

Busy, even on a rainy Thursday night. A barrel of peanuts sits in the waiting area and on every table... it's expected to toss the shells on the floor (although it's not out of control and messy). This place has HUGE sweet potatoes, delicious steaks and great prix fixe meals for two if you get there before 7.

Went for a company lunch today, 8 people in total. For some reason we had two servers, but it still took forever to get our drinks ordered. I would give a one star review, but I think a few co-workers enjoyed their food. Complaints: drink refills-having two servers, I and many others, went a while without getting a refill and, every time I had a refill, they took my drink to refill it even though someone else at the table had a new, fresh drink brought to him. I thinking taking your drink to refill is just bad policy. Second, when the server came to take out order she just stood there, she didn't try to get our attention, just sort of waited. It was weird. Food came out, slowly, one person bringing two dishes at a time. Really? Food runners? Trays? One person's side came out halfway through the meal. I had the "signature" salad and it was awful. I asked for blue cheese on it, didn't get any. Asked for the steak medium, the little nuggets were well done and hard to chew. Presentation was bad. My boss order a steak well done, I know because I was sitting right beside her. Her steak was medium, medium well at best. Another complaint, with not one, but two servers, they didn't clear very many plates. Ever. And, once part of our table left, they came and just started stacking plates on the table while four of us were still sitting there. Again, tacky. Overall, the food was mediocre to bad and the service was spotty to bad with two servers working an eight top. They need to get it together on many levels. I would never voluntarily go back.

My 12 ounce sirloin was 5 ounces of fat and grissle.

Logan's has truly lost its zest. We were there on Saturday and trust me it will be a long while before I make a desision to go back. It's truly not the Logan's it used to be. Save your money and dine somewhere else.

On an outing with my partner and brother, I let the guys pick our dinner location and they agreed on Logan's. I would say that this is a typical steakhouse kind of place. We went at kind of an "off" meal time (i.e., 4:00pm), so they weren't crowded (though there were quite a few people in there) and we were seated right away. There are peanuts readily available for you to eat (e.g., in a barrel at the entrance/waiting area and in buckets on tables). You toss the shells on the ground, but the floors were pretty clear overall. There was a long list of appetizers to choose from and we all agreed on the onion petals, which were also served in a bucket with a horseradish-based dipping sauce. They were quite tasty. When it comes to ordering your entree... if you are wanting to get in touch with your inner carnivore, this is the place for you! Steaks and ribs and chicken, oh my! I haven't ordered a steak in a restaurant for years, so I went for it... a sirloin, medium-rare. Entree dishes also come with two sides... I went with a caesar salad and mashed potatoes. The salad was good and was a good size, not too small or too large. The mashed potatoes were dee-lish! And my steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. Score! At the end of our meal, we were very satisfied, to say the least. We enjoyed the casual, relaxed atmosphere and had some good dinner conversation over good food.
