Just finished our lunch from Timbrook and it was very good. That would be our third trip here since our first visit a week ago! Today we had Crab Nixon Pie, turkey meatloaf panini, spinach and Kerry gold cheddar croissant (with ham), chicken artichoke pie, and corn chowder. We have also tried the bacon cheddar hash brown pie, salmon dill havarti pie, mushroom feta pie, croissant-wrapped kielbasa, spinach feta pie, potato soup, strawberry cream cheese pie, and key lime pie. Everything has tasted incredible. Savory and sweet, there are no misses so far on the menu -- all hits. If we were to nitpick, we like our soup thicker, but the flavors were bold and tasty. And we have at least half the menu to try yet, with new items to look forward to. Customer service is outstanding. Pay by credit or debit card and get your receipt via email. Fill up your loyalty card and get free items! It won't take long if you are like us!

Timbrook was a delightful gem to stumble upon on route to St. Joseph MI from Chicago. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick lunch, and decided to come here after seeing the good reviews. We walked in and had a warm greeting from the shop owner, Chris, who walked us through his entire menu. We both got the $10 lunch deal (which included a main item, a side, a dessert and a drink!)--so for both us us paying only $20 total, we ended up with two pieces of savory pie (chicken artichoke, and feta spinach!), two pieces of sweet pie (strawberry cream, and chocolate peanut butter--mmm!), one HUGE turkey panini, a cup of soup (with all kinds of yummy things in it), a hearty portion of asian slaw, and two drinks. The portions were super generous, but most importantly, DELICIOUS! We talked with Chris about about his pies and other items, and it's clear he has a passion for food--keeping up on trends and experimenting with ingredients that you'd find in big cities. My boyfriend and I are from DC, and travel to other cities often, so that sets a high bar with food!

We found our go to place for pies in Northwest, IN!!!! We met the owner, Chris, and had a fantastic time chatting it up, drinking gourmet coffee and enjoying chocolate pecan pie!! They also have salads, sandwiches, breakfast pies and savory pies, like Crab Nixon! This place is a must visit if you are within 30 minutes of Munster! Call before hand to make sure they have what you want. When it is gone, it is gone!

I'm happy to say that Chris the owner of this cute bakery-cafe isn't shy about his product! Not only was everything we ordered fresh and delicious, it was creative! The banana cheesecake was the bomb! Everything on the menu sounds so yummy. Can't wait to go back and try some more, next time some of his savory pies. Thanks Chris for taking the time to get to know us. We will see you soon

Love this place! We go once a week to stock up on breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. All items heat up great even 5-7 days later. Everything he makes is delicious and fresh. The cinnamon rolls are out if this world. His pies are all great. The peach pie is probably best pie I've ever had. And his key lime is as good as any in south Florida. We love his savory pies for dinner. Breakfast at the cafe is also great!

Can't believe it's taken this long for me to write a review. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Came across Timbrook Kitchens while visiting my boyfriend's family. An assuming place from the outside leads into a lovely oasis once you walk in. EVERYTHING on the menu is fantastic and you can tell it's made with lots of love and care. From the custom savory and sweet pies and pastries, we had at least one of everything and we even took some to-go. Seriously, they give the places in New York City a run for their money. Be sure to stop in and say hello to Chris and Tony!! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I first tried Timbrook Kitchens at the Munster farmer's market. Now that the market is done for the year my partner and I will be making a visit to the storefront our Sunday morning tradition, because we are not willing to give up our weekly dose of delicious savory pies. Some highlights: Breakfast hand pies with hash brown crust. I especially love the bacon cheddar pie (as does everyone else, it seems, since it sells out very quickly). The sausage one is also very good. There are other varieties, all of which sound delicious, but I can't remember them because all I ever pay attention to is that bacon pie! Savory mini hand pies. Smoked salmon and dill and ham and cheddar are the two that come to mind. I believe there is one with crab. Full-sized savory pies with phyllo dough. You can get just a slice of these (but you should probably get more than one). The buffalo chicken is delicious. I'm also always eyeing the feta spinach one, although I haven't gotten it. There are also, of course, sweet pies. I'm not much of a sweets person, but I did try the Butterfinger pie and I couldn't stop eating it. There is a dark chocolate pecan pie that I'd really like to try. Their pies are always rotating. They have soup at the shop. I had rosemary tomato, and it was probably the best tomato soup I've ever had (even if I was nursing a burnt tongue the rest of the day). I don't know why savory pies aren't more popular in this country, but I do know that I'm glad to live near this place.

This place is a true Munster Gem! Everything is premium quality and very delicious! The menu is full of creative options (Greek pot pie) Not to mention they brew Intellegentsia coffee! More places should model this type of quality and deliciousness this place offers to their customers!

This is the most shockingly upscale bakery in ALL of northwest Indiana. And if you're one of those people who says "that's not saying much", well, I kinda agree. But seriously, the attention to the food here is phenomenal. The pies (both sweet and savory kinds) have the richest, flakiest crust I've ever had. I had an individual nutella cheesecake dessert with a popcorn (!!) crust. Most of the menu items are similarly unique. The menu seems to change quite often. Whole pies get quite expensive, but the prices for individual slices isn't too much more than Baker's Square, and there's just no comparison. I hope this guy sticks around!

Been here a few times now and just love the desserts. Today I grabbed slices of Lemon cello and Key Lime cheesecake, chocolate pecan pie, and some cinnamon rolls for a get together. All the desserts received rave reviews. Guests were sharing and enjoying themselves. Always swing by Timbrook Kitchens when I am nearby. Suggest you do too!
