Pros: Great food and great service! The menu was huge with all kinds of great selections. There was a big white board in the lobby with the daily specials. There were so many to choose from and they all sounded delicious. I went with the Kentucky Benedict, poached eggs and sausage gravy. Very good. My wife went with the blueberry pancakes and they were out of this world. Cons: After a short wait, we were seated. While our server was quick to get coffee and drinks, and take our order, it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Others were waiting too. We were there at a busy time, and I'll give a pass on slow service this time because of the food quality and friendly staff, but if this was a normal food delivery time, I probably wouldn't give it a 3rd chance. Also I wish they had the daily specials printed on a table menu. I couldn't remember all the great choices I had to choose from.

Why have I never stopped here before! I drive past it at least once a week. Plenty of parking and right off the highway. The dining room is large with tables or booths. It's very clean and the waitresses were awesome. Very good customer service. They have a large menu, but we decided to order off the breakfast special board. The coconut almond french toast sounded good to me and my husband picked the Hawaii 5-0 omelet. We also had coffee. My pancakes were to die for! I didn't even put syrup on them. It was six pieces and I could only eat three. I took the rest to go. My husbands omelet was huge. It was made with ham pineapple and cheese. He loved it. He had a choice of home fries, grits or fresh fruit, he chose fruit and it was a good choice! Also the toast looked like it was home made. Great choice for breakfast.

Sunday morning 10:30 9/20:. I ordered what I always order. The egg was not prepared correctly. I returned it. Ever 3 minutes for 25 minutes the waitress told me they were working on my eggs. By now, I presumed somebody back there must have there hand half way up the chicken trying to yank out 2 eggs. I saw a lot of follow-up customers around me getting their eggs. Finally my French toast was beyond cold. My bacon had coagulated into a hunk of grease. That is when I returned my breakfast. I received a flippant "sorry about that" as my food was withdrawn by a "has been" fast food order taker. When I paid, I was asked if my meal was okay? To which, I filled the cashier's ear with information. She said, "she she was sorry to hear about that." It was the most honest thing she could say since she didn't want to hear any more about it. She was obviously disappointed in herself for asking. I paid, and it was as if Penn and Teller had walked into the room. She disappeared into sudden non-existence. There was no effort to rectify the situation, compensate the situation, or escalate the issue. It is a waiter/waitress's responsibility to understand what you order and to be sure they are delivering the order the way you requested it. A real waiter/waitress doesn't just deliver what is given to them without verifying correctness and hope it hits the mark like fast food order takers (actually they don't hope for anything}. This is the result of low expectations, poor hiring practices, and non-existent training.

Ate here on the way to the airport with my sister and her boyfriend, and it was fantastic! Maybe it's just me being used to attitude and iffy service on the East Coast, but I was blown away by this place (in a good way!). Had pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns, all of which were delicious. The iced (mocha) coffee I had was also the best I've ever had, period. And the service! Our server and girl who seated us, and even the girl who rang us up afterwards, we're all so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this spot to anyone within a reasonable travel distance - I will definitely be coming back the next time I visit my sister here at business school!

First time here. Looked over menu and decided to go with the polish sausage skillet and what I got was a hot dog skillet. Not even all beef hot dog. Husband ordered a omelette that looked pretty good. I'm really disappointed that they advertised a polish sausage skillet but I received a hotdog skillet instead. Boo

We stopped at this restaurant on our way back to the Chicago area. Huge menu and everything that we saw on other people's plates looked absolutely delicious. We had: The Reuben Sandwich. Freshly prepared and cut off the roast, awesome marbled rye bread and absolutely fantastic! If you like Reubens, order this, as you won't be disappointed. We also had the BLT Club. Very good. Included home made soup and french fries. Very yummy. Finally, we had a breakfast selection including hash brown potatoes (awesome! Not greasy and very tasty), as well as pancakes, which tasted like a cake. Very, very tasty...better than any of the chains including Denny's and IHOP! Liked the fact they left a big quart container of fresh maple syrup at the table. And, with great food comes excellent service. We had a waiter named Dalton. Young man, very attentive and extremely polite and competent! All and all, a 5 star dining experience. We will return!

I love this place! Me and my husband, daughters and in laws checked this place out. It was on a Sunday, the busiest day of the week, because everyone goes there after church. The waitress was sweet and always asked if we needed any more of anything. She was always smiling and happy go lucky kind of gal. This place makes you feel like you are in your grandmas kitchen. The food is amazing and very inexspensive. This is a wonderful place to go for breakfast or dinner. I wish this would allow me to give it 10 stars. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!

Awesome place to stop for a late breakfast. I had the Mexican skillet with pancakes on the side. The coffee was delicious and the portions large enough for the money. I loved the chorizo in my skillet. The waitress was prompt and attentive. Overall I'd say better than IHOP and considerably cheaper. I'll definitely return.

First time I was here, I got the Mexican skillet with a side of toast. Everything was delicious and I wished there was more. After stealing a bite of hubby's pancakes, I lamented the fact that I didn't get any. They were fluffy and delicious. I stole a few more when he went to the bathroom ;) This time, I didn't make the mistake of missing out on these awesome pancakes!

Great food & great service. Big menu, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner during all hours of operation. Felt like I was back in Chicago at a great Greek diner.

I feel like if there were a 2.5 star rating, it would be more appropriate. There was nothing particularly bad about this place, but it was nothing special. Service was average to above average. Menu was breakfast standards, no stand outs, but no essentials missing. The food was passable. My hashbrowns were cooked well (yes, shredded potato goodness) and my country fried steak was pretty delicious. It appeared hand breaded and was well seasoned. Surprising, the worst thing there was my side of pancakes. When I try to make pancakes at home, they always come out tough. I've wondered the secret to good pancakes. Apparently they haven't discovered the secret here, either. The pancakes were dense and difficult to cut with a fork. A stolen bite (or two) of hubby's French toast was much better. The prices were extremely reasonable. I think it was around $40 for 4 people.

A delightful hometown pancake house. With their breakfast lunch and dinner menu, it reminded me of some of that diners I've visited back east. The menu consists of a variety of items, you can get practically anything, from pancakes to catfish or even an open face turkey sandwich. I had the Gyro which was served with chips and a side salad. I skipped the chips but the enjoyed the side salad. It was nothing to write home about but it was made with fresh lettuce and was basically what you expect in this type of establishment. The gyro was also good with a side of cucumber sauce and sprinkled with feta cheese. I was a little apprehensive to order a gyro here, considering the vast array of foods that they prepare. I was thinking it wouldn't be very authentic however, I was pleasantly surprised. The meat on the sandwich might have been a tad bit overcooked but still quite tasty. Our waitress was charming, to say the least, very attentive and had patience with us as we had a party of 12. Since we had such a large party, I called ahead. They had a table set us up for us in the back when we got there. I highly recommend this place especially for large parties.

I had a small orange juice, one egg over medium, grits, wheat toast, and some fruit. I read the first reviewer and he wasn't so happy about it, but if Blueberry Hill can't manage an egg, grits, and toast, we'd be in serious trouble. Service was pleasant though not very attentive, and the place at least seemed clean! You check out up front, by the way.

I'll save you some time by telling you to just go with the namesake and order the blueberry pancakes. You won't regret it. I'd recommend asking your waiter/waitress for some whipped cream to perfectly top off the huge stack of flap jacks. But go hungry! Too good to let any go to waste!! I wasn't particularly in the mood for coffee since I was going in for a late lunch meal, but when I saw the nostalgic brown coffee mugs already set on our table, I thought "hmm, maybe a cup of coffee WOULD go nicely with blueberry pancakes...." and then the big bowl of various creamers set on the table caught my eye!! Indecision OVER with the sight of Almond Joy, Hershey Chocolate Carmel, and Amaretto flavored creamers. Yum. I've never seen these flavors of creamers at any other restaurant so I was very excited! Pancakes and coffee from Blueberry Hill were a perfect combo for a late Saturday brunch.

Good diner in Mooresville. Breakfast offerings are plentiful, tasty and reasonably priced.

Blueberry pancakes = pancakes with blueberry topping. If you are going to use the words blueberry and pancake in the name of your restaurant then I'm going to expect pancakes with blueberries IN the batter.
