This is my favorite place to eat in Martinsville, hands down. The strawberry margaritas are the best... 22oz for $4.99 Can't beat it! I usually order the chicken fajitas but the menu has a lot of options. I also highly recommend the Carnitas or the Pollo Los Reyes! All fantastic choices! The owner is a really great guy, he always checks on you to make sure your please with everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

Yikes - 4 stars? This place is one small stop above Taco Bell and Below Don Pablo's. The chicken may have been butchered in someone's backyard in Martinsville. Chips were tasty and price was right. However, I still don't like subjecting myself to mediocre food because it's cheap.

I like this place. It's very bright and colorful inside with fun booths that were hand carved in Mexico. The food is great and comes out in HUGE portions! Be aware!! They also have great chips and salsa. Just an overall great, local joint that has good food, good service, and great atmosphere. It's right on the square in Martinsville across from the Courthouse on Morgan street. Parking is limited, but during the weekend, just park in the courthouse parking lot and cross over. It's all good!

The food here is always great! They have exceptionally good fish tacos. The price is always fair and they have daily specials. The waiting area is quite small, especially if you come in with an entire family. Overall, I think it is great. I love the employees, atmosphere, and the food!

Wooooo Hoooooo! Gotta give this place a HUGE THUMBS UP!! I no longer live in Martinsville but now live in CALIFORNIA (where you'd think with all the hispanic population, they'd all be creating some good Mexican food, but naaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Nothing great at all)....Los Reyes is da' bomb! Seriously, the best Mexican food around.....it's the real deal! So good. The cheese they use is excellent, not some nasty shredded cheddar crap! The salsa is wonderful. For me, that's always the 1st test as to whether a Mexican restaurant will be good or not. It's great, an so are most of the entrees. I prefer the Cheese Enchiladas....the Shrimp Quesadillas are great as well. Let's not forget the drinks, dont' forget to grab a margarita. They come in many different sizes. Skip the strawberry and go straight for the regular ol' original. You Martinsville folks are lucky to have such a great restaurant to eat at....and for that matter, all ya'll Hoosiers. Be sure to get there. You'll love it! :)

Located a crossed from the courthouse downtown, this place has a distinctive aroma of real Mexican food, once you enter the front is very small, but you usually don't have to wait more than a few seconds before you are greeted pleasantly, offered your seats, and very prompt with getting your orders, the chips are hot and fresh, haven't been chewy like another place in town, and the salsa is always fresh. They come back often to check on you, but not annoyingly so, but they don't abandon you completely either. and as for the menu, there is a large selection to chose from, but the waiters/waitress's are always a great help in suggesting something great, just by telling them what your looking for or trying to get, and they come up with something that turns out great. Even if your as picky as my wife, She is never disappointed. Altogether the prices are seemingly great for all that you get, and you are always asked to come back . We always leave with something for later do to the portions. We don't get the chance to go out much, but if we're going for Mexican, this is definitely worth retuning for !

Decent. I ordered chicken and got beef, but it still tasted fine. Everyone who walked in (including me) seemed a little confused if they should wait to be seated or seat themselves (Correct answer: Seat Yourself). Overall it was fine. The staff were nice. The service was quick. My dish was a little less than the posted price! I probably won't go back.

This place isn't bad for the area I'm sure. There was a very small waiting area in front of the restaraunt. We were finally seated near the door and cash register. Since the place was so small we had people standing next to us almost our entire meal either waiting to be seated or wating to check out. If you want mexican I would keep driving until you get to either Indy or Bloomington.

Generally high quality food (at least for this area). Better than the other mexican restaurant in town. The have done a nice job of remodeling the place and staff is friendly.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
