I've visited this restaurant 3 times so far and have been well pleased. The food and service are great. Don't leave without trying the bread pudding, it's the best. The place is clean including the rest rooms. I don't need any special assistance but a couple of times I noticed waitresses helping elderly people at the buffet. I will definitely visit again.

Food is always fresh and hot. Great selection of meats, veggie and sald bar. Price is very good for the quality they serve. Waitress was very attentive. I will definately go back.

As I arrived into Marion for a recent fundraising event, my road support person and I were looking for a decent dining option. While I preferred something local, we weren't really finding anything that hit the spot and pulled into Sirloin Stockade mostly out of a sense of "that'll have to do." Sirloin Stockade is part of the Stockade Companies that includes Sirloin Stockade, Montana Mike's and Coyote Canyon. Sirloin Stockade and its sister companies now encompass 80 locations in nine states plus Mexico. It runs along the lines of other similarly themed restaurants like Ponderosa, etc. We weren't really wanting a buffet, after all I was wheeling 30+ miles the next day, but wanted a decent meal. While Sirloin Stockade is very much known for its buffet, it also does offer steak ala carte options. My volunteer and I both ordered sirloin tip steaks. I ordered fries and I believe she ordered a baked potato. I ordered my usual unsweetened iced tea. The pricing for the two of us was in the low $20s. Sirloin Stockade does have accessible parking and, in a rather impressive display, they actually enforce it. While I did not use it since my volunteer/driver doesn't have a placard, another customer in a wheelchair came in not long after me and hadn't been able to utilize it apparently due to someone parking there who didn't have the required identification. The fine folks at Sirloin Stockade actually actively sought the person out and got them to move. Bravo. They do have appropriate curb cuts and easy to maneuver doorways. They have two large dining rooms plus the buffet area. While there are certainly areas that may not be wheelchair friendly, folks in wheelchairs have quite a few options. You order at an ordering counter and the food is brought to you along with drinks. Our server, whose name I never caught, was attentive and helpful. The overall atmosphere was very casual. It seemed like a very "worn" restaurant, though not actually dirty. The clientele was incredibly diverse in just about every way and the restaurant was family and disability friendly with intention. While all these are positives, I can't quite get myself to go above a 3-star rating. The steak was good, but not much above average. The fries were also rather ordinary - they weren't good or bad. I didn't regret them, but I didn't find myself thinking "I want to come back here." I did get my usual iced tea refill. So, while I was impressed with their devotion to their customers with disabilities and appreciated my server, I found the food to be fairly average and the overall atmosphere to be pretty fairly neutral. If I return, and I don't find myself in Marion often, I'll likely try the buffet and explore that option as I really didn't even check out the menu. If you're in the mood for steak but you're on a fast casual budget, then Sirloin Stockade may very well meet your needs. With a clear devotion to ALL their customers, I give them major kudos and gratitude even if I'm not quite willing to fork over that 4th star.

Great everything. One of the best buffets around. They went back to a Ponderosa style of steak which is great to me. Fill up on buffet and have my steak dinner later. The service was excellent. Big smile and a hearty Merry Christmas. I will be driving back to Marion just for this place alone!
