Nice homemade sauce. I had the lasagna with a meatball and it was very good. Good portions but kinda quirky building/ambiance. I'll be back.

Marion, Indiana. Home of nothing. I mean really...there is no restaurants here. Que Rosie's. Now, this quaint little dive has some great spaghetti, but that was about it. I was excited to try their relish tray, but when it arrived and all it contained was a little cup of cheese whiz, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little let down. The staff is uber friendly and the food was out in no time at all, and like I said, great spaghetti, but if you're looking for a big Italian menu, this is not the place for you.

Really do not understand the low scores of this establishment. We went there for lunch and my wife had the Lasagna and I had the Chef Salad. The Lasagna looked great and tested excellent and my Chef Salad was fresh and huge. The Salad had lettuce, eggs, olives, cucumbers, onions, croûtons, ham and salami and eggs with vinegar and old dressing. It was excellent. The also brought Italian style Garlic Toast to munch on until the dinner arrived. The meal was served hot and quickly and the waitress was friendly and very attentive. Yes the place is a bit small and a little older but that just gives it a bit more ambiance. The place was packed and every time I drove past it the parking lot is always packed. I am really glad I took a chance and stopped. I will be a regular diner here at Rosie's Little Italian. Great food, great service and the price was very reasonable also.

PLEASE don't go in! This has really nothing on the menu, what we got was straight from walmart's frozen section. We ordered a salad witch was just that... Nothing but iceberg lettuce that was old. In plastic Tupperware. Then they want to charge you $10+ for everything.

Just stopped in for lunch and man did this place go downhill. First, the carpet had been ripped up for replacement, so they just remained open with the stench of decades of mildew in the air, we sat down and were questioning our choice when the server quickly took our drink orders, I suspect that was done hastily to keep us there. I ordered a lunch special chicken Parmesan w/spaghetti. I asked for Italian dressing and got the worst effort ever, really watered down with all the spices in the bottom of the dressing cup. Then the entree came and while the spaghetti was fine the chicken parm was a chicken breast from a freezer, not hand breaded with a slice of parm on top. I could've done this at home, at least Hardee's across the street hand breads their chicken. The server was friendly and quick so, while I wanted to like this place, needless to say, we won't be back .

Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The 3 star review is generous considering how absolutely terrible the atmosphere is. This place has so much potential but I would never take clients or friends here due to the atmospherr. Please updste!!!

Really good Italian food. The last time I was there, it was still an 80's style diner type of restaurant turned into an intimate setting. It's worth the visit.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten at. Been a family tradition for decades! We drive in from out of town to eat here on a regular basis.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
