So the food was fresh and good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The chips and salsa was good. Did not get a chance to order margaritas but the people at other tables ordered them and they looked good. The service was attentive for Saturday night around 9pm.

I hear this place is supposed to be pretty good. But apparently they do not care for carry out business. I have looked everywhere for a menu to order carry out tonight and can not find one!! Their own website doesn't even contain a menu to order from, it has a menu tab, but doesn't show it. So I guess we will order dinner for 5 from somewhere else!!

Acapulcos has been opened again (for awhile now) and is even better! I've never had anything from there that disappointed. One of my favorite restaurants...and a great value!

Fast service. Reasonable prices. My fish tacos were good, not great. My wife's dish was also good. Nice decor .

We frequent this Acapulco's pretty regularly. They have daily beer or margarita specials which are great. Everything I've ordered has been delicious. The service isn't as good as it was prior to its closing, but it is decent. They have outdoor seating and plenty of tables indoor.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I will give you the run down. We come around 7pm on a Friday (6/29/13) the hostess seats us and things seem to be ok. I notice that the table next to us has a large beer and I am curious how much they were. The waitress comes and asks us what we would like to drink. I ask how much the beers are. She doesn't see to understand any English. So instead of answering me she just stares at me. Awkward silence I try to repeat myself a little slower. She eventually says 6 bucks and doesn't specify if that was for Mexican or domestic only. I just ask for a bottle of corona. She eventually comes to Ask for our order. I order the steak and cheese burrito. My wife ordered the verde burrito. Of course that's not wht came to the table at all. We both got burritos that were not the kind we asked for. We didnt feel like arguing so we ate it. I asked for a side of sour cream which I paid a dollar for. The waitress never came to ask how we were doing. She never cracked a smile not one time. One of the most horrible customer service experiences I have ever gotten anywhere. I tipped her 0 dollars and I never ever do that. I hope she got the point. The waitress not only could not understand English, she was absolutely rude on top of it. Won't be back!

Yummy, yummy! I ended up here for a business lunch and this place turned out to be really great. I think it's the best Mexican I've had in the Cincinnati area. Surprising, right? I've been to another Acapulco restaurant but this one was very different. I got the...ugh...I can't remember the name. It was chicken breast with some sort of cheese deliciousness, grilled peppers, and amazing rice and beans. Everybody's meal came with a side dish with lettuce, salsa, guac and warm tortillas. I'll have to go back for dinner and get one of the giant margaritas I saw on my way out!

Might be my most favorite place to eat. The food is very good and the service is good. The place is always busy which is an indication of a great place.

Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but very large portions of very good food. Always fresh and hot. Plenty of choices. Staff are eager to please and accommodating. We have been here many times and recommend stopping in to satisfy your Mexican food cravings before heading to the Hollywood casino as they are just a few blocks away.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
