I really love this place. It's owned locally and it's Christian-owned (non-denominational). Very friendly and the coffee is basically the best coffee I've ever had. Local beans, lots of love, and a very chill atmosphere. I always feel safe and I can study here in total peace. Check out their Dirty Hippie or the Milky Way! Both are great choices.

WOW! come here you wont regret it. Oone day after taking a 9hr exam and hanging out in LAfayette of all places! Amazing coffee! Amazing space. Plenty of plugs. Warm And courteous staff. Awesome tables. And apparently they host Nashville artists!! GREAT COFFEE! + GREAT STAFF + and music = gem One thing wrong with this place is that its not where I live in chambana, il! Note: seems like its christian owned from the Christian music (which I happen to be very fond of, im catholic raised) and the design of the tables (the tables seem to have been designed with bible pages see the pictures.) Dont worry the place is not uncomfortable for atheists, agnostics, and or other creeds. Its a coffee shop! A great one! Note 2: im from Los Angeles and have lived in Philly, Boston and am very familiar with Chicago AND this is a great coffee shop!

The drip coffee was okay, but the food was incredible! The decor is also extremely charming, and the staff was very pleasant. Don't miss this spot!

I really appreciated how this place was out of the way and a total hidden gem for the neighborhood. My coffee was very carefully made and everyone that I encountered working there was very friendly and positive. They evidently do have live music on some evenings, but I would bet that much of it is contemporary Christian music. That's certainly my thing but it may not be yours. I gave it four stars because, honestly, the portions that I received were a little big and the chicken salad had a little too much dill for my taste. I'll definitely be back to try other things in the future, though!

Everything said in the previous review still holds, although I realized I hadn't updated the tentative 4 to the well deserved 5. The food is good quality at good prices, the coffee is great (for once a place that does not over roast their beans). And as I said in previous post "he place itself is super cute, brick walls, lots of light. There are a ton of tables for working or studying or just sitting reading a book." But most of all, the people here are just completely wonderful. I feel extremely welcome. How could that not make you want to come back?

Seriously good food and large portions!! Love the Sacred Grounds salad with homemade poppyseed dressing and the bacon ranch wrap (dirty style). Coffee and drinks are the best around!! Love the atmosphere and decor! A great place to relax, fellowship with friends and have meetings.

I found this place recently when searching for a spot to study for my finals around Purdue. The place is very spacious and there's not a lot of activity so it's a good place to sit down with a book and relax or to study if that's your style. The coffee was really good and the service was awesome. I got the red eye with a delicious chocolate muffin. The decoration and ambiance could be better but overall a good place if you want to step away from all the typical and busy places in and around campus.

Sacred Grounds is more than coffee. They offer breakfast and lunch, along with snacks. The Sacred Salad is awesome. They use super fresh greens (not from a bag!) and they are generous with the toppings, plus make their own salad dressing. At around $6, it's definitely a better value than Panera just across the river. The atmosphere is relaxing and eclectic. It's a beautiful space with plenty of room. They are passionate about their coffee. I've enjoyed both their mocha and vanilla latte. Make sure to get a punch card. Last but not least, it's a great place to catch a live show. It's an intimate setting to experience music. The Vesper's show was one of the best I can remember, and I'm excited to see them here again in May.
