If you crave a tasty treat, you can't go wrong at Cone Palace. I've been going there since I was a child and now take my own family there every time we are in K-town. My personal favorites are their soft serve creations (think Blizzard from the other ice cream place) and their chili dogs!

A wonderful local joint with very friendly and efficient staff! Nothing fancy but if you are looking for a great old fashioned hamburger, fries, and great onion rings, this is a great place to check out! And don't forget to save room for all of their great ice cream and frozen yogurt treats as well! We've never been disappointed!

I grew up with Cone Palace... Probably been a customer nearly 25 years. I live in Indy now but stop here everytime I come to kokomo. Chili dogs, onion rings, & cheeseburgers are always winners. The ice cream is the best there ever was.... Arctic swirls. Try getting yours made with twin ice cream... it makes it better! I love my raspberry diet cokes from there too. It's worth it.

I've never had the actual food at the Cone Palace, but the ice cream is good enough that we come back every time we're in Kokomo. It's similar to Dairy Queen's ice cream, but it's better and it's of better quality. They also have more flavors. This ice cream shop is clean, bright, and we've never had any issues with the staff or the food. I love to see locally-owned places like this doing well, and it certainly is...it's usually pretty busy!

Excellent service, cheeseburgers are great, cauliflower with cheese, arctic swirls are the coldest and thickest stirred ice cream you will ever eat, the ranch is good, the flavored sodas are wonderful, I'd recommend the cherry or vanilla flavored coke :)

The quintessential locally owned ice cream shop. It's clean, well-maintained, and staffed with fresh-faced Hoosiers. The breaded pork tenderloin was good, but the fries and onion rings were outstanding in my book. They don't salt their fries though--at least not that I could tell. If you're ordering "to-go," request salt packets. And I wish they'd offer ketchup in those new-fangled dipping packets. But anyway... Ice cream is the reason Cone Palace exists. I ordered a lemon shake, expecting a sweet-tart combination, but it was only sweet, so I was a little disappointed. He ordered some sort of shake with candy mixed in it. I tried it--good, but who doesn't like ice cream and candy? I believe I will order a straight-up cone next time and will update my review accordingly. For now, I suggest you try Cone Palace, simply for the slice of central-Indiana-American-pie you'll find there. (Note: I am not referring to a literal pie.) Now, if it's pie you want, Kokomo, Indiana, is the place to be. We just moved here, and I have already counted four restaurants that specialize in pie...as in: actually have "pie" in the name of the establishment. Those reviews are forthcoming.

I always order the fried cauliflower with ranch. Its my guilty pleasure. If im really blowing my healthy diet, i get the coney dog with onions and nacho cheese. Today i decided to have the bbq pork sandwich instead, big mistake. Very salty and not much flovor. I should have ordered the dog! Next time. They also have a sherbert freeze thats my go to drink.

My husband is from Kokomo so whenever we make the venture up to see family I HAVE to stop at conepalace. They the most amazingly cream rich yummy milkshakes I've ever had! Occasionally I'll get a corn dog or onion rings. You can get a giant 32oz for under $4, it's definitely a gluttonous purchase but nobody will know (except all the people I just told here!). If I've already a big meal I will at least stop and get a large Coke with cherry syrup. My husband frequently gets vanilla Mountain Dew and swears by it! If you're ever going through Kokomo, be sure to stop at this local hotspot for all your dairy-filling needs!

This is a Kokomo institution. The place where at least one of your friends or you worked in high school. Awesome slushy drinks. Watermelon Sprite please and thank you! The coney dogs, tenderloins, corn dogs, and ice cream are all on the money. It's good food, and a decent price. Fare like you remember getting from the ballpark food stands after a game. Definitely worth a trip through the drive through over just plain Mickey D's.

This is not: McDonald's, Burger King, Arby's, Hardy's, and all the rest. That alone is worth a couple of stars. Add to it excellent service, a drive through, very clean inside and out and you have a couple more stars. Finally, a tasty chili dog = 5 stars for Cone Palace! Support your local non-franchise business.
