WOW this place is great and NON SMOKING. The dinner plate are the size of a football and come loaded. Plus after dinner ice cream is mandatory and included. Great service. We will be back for sure

Are we talking DelMonaco's in New York? No, but you can go much further and fare much worse. Food is home style cooking, and if you leave hungry it's your own fault. Triple decker sandwiches are to recommended and daily specials by the plate, while not fancy are satisfying and good....

I decided to give this place another try. Frankly, I am still disappointed. One has to pass through the smokers area for a table in the non smokers section. The waiters do not present themselves as people I want handling my food. But above all, the quality of the food ranges from poor to mediocre. The pancakes literally fall apart when you cut then into bite sized pieces. I'm officially done here.

I felt like I was in the land of the lost. No food that is worth eating. (except Don's, and they don't open til spring) I wasn't going to the broken arches and after driving 12 miles to no avail, I had to eat! I walked in and was greeted and seated. I looked around and everything seemed on the up and up. Until I saw my waitress coming at me. Of course I get the hooker that's on parole. But I will say this. With all her, honey, sweetie, baby, she was probably one of the best servers I have had in years. I couldn't take a drink without her zooming by and giving me a refill. I glanced at the menu and ordered a turkey club delux. I was asked if I wanted chicken dumpling or cream of crab. Really! Since we we were 150 miles from the nearest body of water, I chose the local fav. It was delicious. Home made, from scratch, not frozen or bought in a store. (There are none of them around here either) My soda was not the standard P,C or RC? I looked at the fountain and they just said soda. Clear, brown, orange, tea! Wow, that's home made too! My sandwich came out as soon as I put down the spoon. The fries looked overcooked. But, they were awesome! The only way I can describe them is this way. My grandma used to fry them in a cast iron skillet so they were golden brown on the outside, but still had the potato taste and texture on the inside. Yum! The club had thick slices of real from the breast turkey. So much so that the meat was the dominant factor. Places like this in the middle of no where are a real hit or miss. This local gem is perfect oasis when your chomping at the bit!

Fresh from the freezer, canned gravy. This was the turkey dinner. The table may be good but the food left much to be desired.

Good food. We stop here when we visit our friends in Indiana. Cash, no debit or credit cards. Fresh ingredients really makes a difference.
