This place was listed in my Yelp listing. Walked in and noticed a lot of families. Looked like a local place and had that feel too. It sits in a neighborhood setting. Nice building. Looks new. I had the wasabi salmon. Very good. Cooked perfect. I would suggest this place highly. My waitress was very attentive and kept my water glass full. You must stop here when in Jasper

Came to Mill House with some sort of preconceived notion that it would be more brewery like since they just started a brewery but was somewhat disappointed and more than likely it jaded the remainder of my experience. I wasn't enjoying the mood of the restaurant at all. I felt like I was at more of a fancy breakfast joint. The booth that I sat in was incredibly uncomfortable as well, which didn't help much! Due to the multiple comments regarding their pizza, that's what we ended up with and it was everything everyone said...super delish! Wouldn't hesitate coming back for the pizza knowing what to expect next time. We also ordered the soup/bread for an additional dollar and cents which I wouldn't do next time only because it was a bread roll rather than different types of bread. It's obviously a popular place with the locals though...VERY crowded!!

Good beer, pizza and mac and cheese. I always suggest but most will never offer alternative to pork in sausage and or pepperoni.

This place is 1 for 1- because I will be back! The garlic chicken melt was flawless. The saute'd veggies were great alongside the German potatoes. It came with endless soup and bread, both of which were delicious. And it was only $10.99. The atmosphere isnt anything special, but it's not enough to merit a drop to four stars. Highly recomended if your in Jasper and want a nice meal.

This is our second time here. It is delicious! The pecan chicken is wonderful and the kids menu is great. Kids 8 and under eat free.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service!! I got the chicken cordon blue and my husband got the wasabi salmon. Both were delicious! Portions are huge!!! Our kids both got spaghetti (which was free because kids 8 and under eat free after 4pm). It too, was large portions and good. They had margaritas on special for $1.99. I was expecting wimpy with lots of ice, but they were great. One lasted me the whole meal. Definitely have to try this place!!! We will be back next time we are in Jasper!!

One of our favorite lunch spots for Meyer Dist clients we have in town. They had a jalapeño chicken cordon bleu on special this month. It was out of this world. I sure hope they add it to the regular menu. Other favorite items would be the fajita pita and strom. Both are solid home runs.

Ordered spare ribs - the only thing they didn't spare was the torch they used to burn these ribs beyond recognition. $24 for garbage that ended up in my hotel garbage can. This place sucks.

My favorite place in Jasper for pizza! They have a great all you can eat pizza buffet (at least on Saturdays, when I have been), which I would highly recommend. The buffalo chicken pizza as well as the carbonara pizza are really good. I believe it is all thin crust pizza on the buffet. If you get the buffet, they also offer two soups and breadsticks. I've never ordered off the menu here, but the menu offerings look pretty good too.

I have been to the Mill House well over a dozen times with nothing but good things to say about their food. It truly is top-notch. I have the filet mignon with loaded waffle fries about every-time I go with the wife. Their mixed drinks and ingredients they use are very good. Service is always very courteous. I wouldn't recommend taking this kids if they don't have patience, usually 35-40 mins to get the appetizer and another 30-35 for the main course. Not sure why really, the food is never cold, always fresh and hot. I would and will still be going there with mine, just give them something small to eat on the way there. Superb restaurant. As far as price the food is about moderate with other places, a bit more on some things. The mixed drinks will run you around $9 apiece, but are worth it. You pay a bit more but you get much more quality then other places I believe.

After a family reunion several of us stopped here for supper on a Sunday evening. They had a pizza buffet which looked pretty good; unfortunately, I could not eat pizza for being lactose intolerant. I ordered medium rare fillet and it came out medium instead. I did not enjoy my meal; however, a couple of family members enjoyed the pizza. One person ordered barbecue ribs and it looked great. I felt like I ordered wrong dish. This would be a good place to go for pizza and beer.

I went to the Mill House off of the Yelp recommendations when I was in Jasper for business. I enjoyed it! The almond crusted chicken was recommended and is apparently their specialty- I got the salad and it was very tasty. Nothing too fabulous, but I enjoyed it.

Such a wonderfully quaint little place in little Jasper. The menu choices are broad and everything I've tried is wonderful! A great place to go for lunch as well when they have an awesome pizza buffet. The pizza is top notch quality like nothing else in this area.

After a cold day of geocaching we thought this place wounded like a nice place to get a good hot meal before going to the motel. WRONG! Let's just say we were more than disappointed! We both ordered the sirloin steak. We didn't want the saute' veggies & ask to have green beans instead. Sorry no substitutions was the answer. What is the difference? Could only have one other side without paying extra so asked for the salad. It looked as though it had been made up several hours before (didn't eat). The steak was almost to tough to cut with the steak knife. The sweet tea was good & the bread was good. When the waitress ask how our meal was & I motioned not so good she just walked on by. Guess she was trained to ask the question, but not to listen for the answer. We pass through here 3-4 times a year or more, but you won't find us frequenting this establishment any time soon!

Who would have ever guessed such a great restaurant existed in a town like Jasper, IN? (These reviews are really making it seem like I hated Jasper, aren't they? I didn't, it's lovely, just so not what I'm used to). Mill House wouldn't seem out of place if you took it off of Mill St. and plunked it on Roosevelt Rd. in Lombard. It's a laid back, bar food kind of place, with a couple of (really good) housebrewed beers to make it particularly noteworthy. The food is a solid B. The burger (with fried pepperjack balls on it!) was very good, the fries were beer-battered and delicious, and even the rolls that came as part of the soup bar (a cool idea I wish more places had) were really good. The service was very friendly and on top of things, which is always appreciated. The real star was the beer, though. I had a nut brown ale that had a delicious caramelly flavor to it. I sampled my friend's English pale ale that was also very tasty, with a slight sweetness to its hoppiness. My friend Erin would also add that they had a "young brewery" taste to them, whatever the hell that means. Definitely a great place I wish wasn't 300 miles away.

I was in Jasper for work with some clients and we opted to try this restaurant later on a Sunday night. We were pretty much the only ones in there, but our waitress was very pleasant and super helpful with the menu. I ended up getting the fajita pita as did my coworker and we were both surprised that the sauce was more of a sweeter terayaki type. It was still good. The other guest ordered the tenderloin and he enjoyed it! It is a good local restaurant to check out!

This was a good find near downtown Jasper. I wanted to eat at a locally-owned restaurant and The Mill House has consistently been recommended to me by the locals. I went craving a 12-ounce steak, which I had seen on the menu at their website, but when I got there behold a pizza buffet with homemade potato soup and stuffed green pepper soup awaited me! I think that Mill House may have the best thin crust pizza that I have eaten outside of Scottsdale! The potato soup was awesome and not too salty, as is the case at some restaurants. The menu is diverse with something for everyone. The atmosphere is casual and there were people of all ages dining there this evening. The website to view their menu is themillhouserestaurant.c… . Run, don't walk, to the Mill House in Jasper, Indiana!
