I love this place! My first choice for lunch when I come back in town. Wraps are great.

I can't believe I have yet to write a review on this place! Yep, I'm a fan. I love the west-coasty feel of this place (where I'm from). The sandwich offerings and coffee selection are the best within a 20 mile radius. Not so average as everywhere else you get. The pastry selections are also numerous as well as quite tasty! One of my favorite things to do in the spring is grab lunch and walk across the street to the Jasper Mill and find a seat near the river walk. It's a great location for a grab and go picnic!!

Nice people but the food is lacking. Got a salad and the chicken was *extremely* dry. Either they are reheating cooked chicken or just plain over cooking it. Also, got a side of the chicken salad which was made with the same dry hard chicken. Lots of bakery items and beverages to choose from, however, will not return due to the poor quality.

I always stop by this place when I'm home to visit. Fresh bagels daily- sooo good! The also have muffins and coffee for breakfast. The lunch menu consists of sandwiches, wraps and soups. I've never had a bad meal from here. The service is always friendly and it's always clean. I think they even have wifi. 5 stars for delicious!

This is one of my favorite places in town, especially for breakfast. The food is fresh and flavorful, the specials are always interesting (fish tacos especially), and the staff is always friendly.

Great atmosphere, the menu variety is good and the employees are very friendly and welcoming. I especially like their bagels and the veggie cream cheeses. This is an ideal meeting place for informal business meetings or just to meet friends for a quick bite at breakfast or lunch. The parking and location are both excellent. I have just one suggestion, though. I wish that Azura would use half and half creamer rather than the little disposable packets. I just like to pour my cream, rather than stand and open those packets until I have enough cream in my coffee -- just a preference.

I've eaten at Azura a handful of times while I've visited family in Jasper. From previous visits, I've enjoyed their delicious breakfast options and low prices. Each time I've looked forward to coming back, but today wasn't such a pleasant experience. I called and placed an order for pick up. The girl I spoke to was very friendly. I ordered an everything bagel with the veggie cream cheese, a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an oat bran bagel, and a chai tea latte. When I walked into Azura, there was a girl placing an order in front of me. She ordered a bagel and the cashier asked her if she would like it toasted. I wasn't asked that question when I called so when I got up to the counter, I asked if I could have the bagel I ordered toasted. The cashier went to ask another worker about it. The worker (I think may have been the manager.) looked at me and said, "Oh, your bagel is already made up." (My bagel being "made up" meant my bagel that was NOT toasted had cream cheese smeared on it.) He actually seemed very annoyed that I would even ask such a question. He then came over to the register and said, "Some people don't like bagels toasted so you have to tell us if you want it that way." I know I seemed annoyed, but I didn't say anything because I'm not really that kind of customer. I honestly was so shocked that they didn't even offer to toast me another bagel that I had no words to even say. I also don't think I should have had to tell them I wanted it toasted when other customers are asked whether they want it toasted. Ultimately a bagel being toasted or not is not a life changing issue. The real issue here was the lack of customer service. I left there feeling stupid that I didn't order my bagel in the "proper way". I don't know about you, but I don't appreciate businesses that I pay money to making me feel that way. Future customers, for the love of all that is good, please tell them if you want your bagel toasted. Azura, if your customer is not asked whether they want their bagel toasted and it comes out in a way that they are not satisfied, please just ask if they would like you to fix it. Also, for any chai tea drinkers out there, if you don't like your "chai" to taste like warm milk, please go elsewhere.

Best little bagel shop around! It has great fresh made bagels and a nice atmosphere near the river walk. I wish there were one of these in evansville!

We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Hampton In down the street. This was a very convenient spot for a nice breakfast. The bagels were very high quality, and I really enjoyed my sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. Coffee is only okay (lots of flavored options), but all in all a pleasant experience.

Certainly not what you would expect from a bakery/coffee house in a large urban area, however Dubois County should be happy to host this little gem. Ingredients, bagels, and coffee seem to be fresh and tasty. Maybe add a lounge area for the Starbucks experience? Good find!

Dandy specialty sandwiches and the best bagels in 9 counties!! Sandwiches & wraps are all made-to-order fresh, great potato salad and comfortable clean dining area. Really friendly folks that work hard to provide goods eats and good customer service. We stop in often and got hooked on the Triple Crown ... what a great custom club sandwich! Do it on toasted rye!!

I've been here a total of 6-8 times. As I'm not from the area but currently reside here, I thought it would be great to start supporting local businesses. The food here isn't bad. I particularly favor the buffalo chicken wrap. However, it's not good enough to pay $10 for a meal. Especially when the wrap is rather small in size and the "side" you get comes in the same tiny plastic container that you get samples in at Walmart(not joking). The coffee has been alright, nothing to brag about and the pump canisters go empty and stay that way for 20+ minutes if they are busy. Another thing I'd like to mention is the atmosphere. Dubois County is well-known for being a community of snobby individuals and I feel that this cafe really highlights to someone from out of the area. I've noticed that the cashiers are mediocre at best when it comes to hospitality, the kitchen staff will come out and talk to customers they are familiar with, "Can I get you some more ____?", "Would you like me to take this for you?", etc., while no service of such was offered to me while I saw it offered to other customers 4 separate times as I set two tables down. Also, there is a lady who works there, short, dark curly hair, glasses, whom I was told is the owner's wife that has a snotty, short attitude every. single. time. I've never saw her smile and she's there every time I've been. In fact, I ordered a frap and when she handed it to me, it was the consistency of milk and she offered me the explanation, "We can't control it, it's the ice." insinuating the ice was melted. Are you kidding me? There is an ice machine with frozen, fresh ice in view from the front counter and at $4.50 a frap, I deserve it made correctly. I'm a fairly even-tempered individual who worked fast food in high school and generally am very friendly and relaxed towards restaraunt workers because I understand they aren't compensated enough for what they put up with, but she pushes my limits every time I'm in there with being hospitable. Another issue is the hours. They close at 4 PM on weekdays. This seems out of place for the area. All in all, the pricing is too high, the service mediocre in friendliness and speed, and the hours are not feasible. There is a coffee shop 4 miles past Azura in Huntingburg called Cool Beans. They serve a wonderful lunch 11-3 every day with a huge menu, reasonable prices, decent speed, and have much better coffee. Not to mention awesome customer service I general. I recommend it over this Cafe for anyone serious about a pleasing dining experience.

Stopped by for quick lunch and coffee. Wish I hadn't overlooked this place for so long. Was pleasantly surprised by the good food and service. And my cafe mocha rivaled Starbucks and cost less. I'll be back.

Nice little place for breakfast and lunch. Their espresso machine was broken so that was a little disappointing. Service was also slow. The food was tasty, I had the Mesquite Chicken wrap and, though it was small, it was very good. I suspect Azura Cafe really thrives as a breakfast stop as their coffee selection was top notch and their bagel selection looked good. All in all, I'm happy we went as there just aren't that many places like Azura in the area. So it's a breath of fresh air to find them trying to set themselves apart with a little more gourmet selections.
