I do not like this restaurant. There isn't much I can except that it is really expensive for a sandwich, chips, and a drink. And I don't think the sandwiches are anything to get excited about (unless you like your sandwiches with lots of bread and not enough meat). I ate here the first time out of curiosity and a couple other times because I went with friends, and I have been satisfied with what I received for the price I paid.

This McAlisters is a reliable and clean place to eat on the East side of Indy. It is rarely very busy, so you don't have to worry about long lines like happen at most McAlisters. Their service is great: very attentive workers, plenty of staff. Quick refills on the sweet tea! The free WiFi here does NOT work, however. I do have a slight concern that since they are rarely busy that they may go out of business. They used to sell breakfast, but stopped after too little sales.

Aaron was my cashier just now, I asked a simple question, "could you give a discount if I purchased a dozen brownies? " He said we can't give discounts. I paused, he didn't offer to ask a manager. So I proceeded to pick up the brownies at the register, there were 6, I said "do you have more brownies?" Aaron said "looks like there are some at the other register. " So I walked down to the other register and got the 3 that were there. I then asked "do you have any more brownies? I would like to buy a dozen. " Aaron said "so you want to pay for the 9 brownies? " I said "I guess if you don't have any more brownies. " He didn't offer to ask a manager or anything. Great! So I got 9 brownies to take to my party, but I expect better service at McAlister's Deli! I was very disappointed.

If you've been to one McAlister's, you've been to them all. This location, a few blocks from the mall, is not different than the others. It delivers great, friendly service and good sandwiches, soups, salads and massive stuffed potatoes at a fair price. My favorite thing to do is order a half salad and half sandwich, the best of both worlds. Here, they even let you choose a premium salad, rather than just a small side salad. It's a good deal and you can't beat the sweet tea and lemonade. It's a great place for a quick lunch or dinner, solo, with friends or the family.

I always have a good experience when I come here! The menu is a tad pricey for deli style salads, soups, sandwiches, and spuds but the quality is always top notch so I'm happy to pay a bit more than what other local delis charge. There are so many wonderful dishes here - the best bang for your buck is the 1/2 and 1/2 combo. The nachos are delicious, the chicken / peach panini is great, and the pecan summer berry salad is spectacular. Also, the sweet tea is straight out of the south. The tea is for sale by the gallon and I recommend purchasing one or two!

Absolutely worst customer service and Managment I've ever seen in a restaurant. Came in close to closing time, I realize this isn't ideal. I had been working for 15 hours and I was just wanting something quick that wasn't exactly fast food. The manager on site threw a fit and called her worker a moron for not locking the door when it wasn't actually closing time yet. It was extremely unprofessional and made me not want to ever visit this mcalisters location again. I once upon a time worked at this location and I'm disturbed at how horrible the service was. And now I'm settling for the mcdonalds across the street.

This is the McAlister's I always go to, and for many good reason. Great food, clean environment, and a wonderful hard working staff. Lines are rarely super long, good outdoor seating, and the pricing of the food is very good. But most McAlister's are like that right. But there people there work there are very friendly. Some of them I know on a first name bases. If you live on the eastside of Indy and want some great deli food, this is the place to visit. Even if you are not a big tea drinker, have some of their sweet ice tea. It is amazing!

The closest deli is 5 hours from our home. We stop here on our way to KC! I am in love with their baked potatoes, I love getting chili on top! My husband always gets a turkey subs and raves about it. I highly suggest stopping for lunch or dinner the next time you see a McAlister's Deli!

Good place to go especially in the summer. Their tea is really good and I love the variety on their menu. Cranberry club sandwich is one of my faves. The potatoes are big and cooked just right. Sometime it seems as the staff is overwhelmed.

Great food at a reasonable price. I eat out 90% of the year and this place is pretty good. Nice salad choices for those trying to eat healthy. Like myself. The sweet tea is very good. It is a must try. The cookies are great I'm really stuck on the Heath bar cookie. If your in the area come on and check it out. It's definitely better then average here.

I've been a few times, and maybe it is because I don't care for sweet tea, but I feel this place is over-rated. The sandwiches are good, the potatos are large, but it isn't mind-blowing or anything. If you like deli-style places give it a go.

I have been to several McAlister's Deli's all over the city and have never had a bad experience so I thought it would be a good idea to order through their catering service for a business luncheon. Unfortunately, they put me down for the wrong day. I showed up the the meeting early anticipating their arrival and they did not show up. I called and they informed me that they had me down for the next day rather than right now. So as I was there ready to set things up, I was left empty handed and looking unprofessional. I am not going to go after the company as a whole and say that they are terrible but this location/ branch did absolutely nothing to try and make this right. Barely even an apology was made so i wanted to make sure someone saw this at least because I don't believe anyone there is accountable. I will never look at them as an option for catering again based off of this one experience because even though it was a mistake on their part, they did nothing to reconcile the issue,

I like McAlister's because of the illusion that they aren't a chain. When you walk in, you know everything on the menu is something you can make at home. Then again, if you wanted to make it at home, you'd be in a grocery store and not staring at "local" decor on the walls, sucking down a sweet tea. I love baked potatoes and so does this place. We're natural buds.

I've been to McAlister's many times before, but this time I ventured outside my normal comfort zone to try the "Chipotle Chicken Wrap." It was amazing! The fat-free chipotle peach vinaigrette was perfect. With the addition of the fruit cup, I had a well-balanced lunch.

This is by far one of the best soup and sandwich places in Indianapolis and the desserts are great two. Me an my family have never been disappointed when we go there
