This place is absolutely amazing, they have the bakery in one side of the place and the restaurant on the other. Even though I'm not a huge fan of sweets, the bakery goods that I've had from there were fantastic. The restaurant is simply amazing and very reasonable in price. I really enjoy coming to this place.

This is my favorite Mexican place! They give you enough food to go home and live off of for at least a week. It is prepared fresh and the service is always top notch. If you haven't tried this place....YOU MUST! They also have an adjoined bakery. So many things to choose from. You will not leave disappointed!!

I'm wondering if this is mistakenly the restaurant that's in New Chicago on Michigan St., just right around the corner from the actual address listed on here. If so, then this is the place I usually go to have food from. Yes, it is a Mexican style bakery along with a small selection of Mexican food items. They have carnitas, barbacoa, menudo, and tamales on the weekends. Adjoining the bakery is the small restaurant. My favorite dish is their "carne en su jugo" which is this awesome combination of pinto beans in their broth along with strips of carne asada, bacon topped with slices of avocado on top. So yummy!!! Perfect to warm up the soul and tummy when it's cold out.

Good selection of bakery items. Agreed, the tres leches cake by the slice is great. The adjoining restaurant is also pretty good.

I ordered (to be safe) the 3 taco dinner (1 steak, 2 chicken), which also came with a side of beans and rice. Very decent food. Its definitely nothing to write home about, but the food is good. I preferred the chicken over the steak...the beans and rice could have been completely optional. I also purchased some baked goods while there. The large sugar donuts were by far the best and super fresh! I'd come back for donuts over the food anytime...speaking of donuts, I totally had a dream about being in the Simpson's cartoon last night!

I ordered a tres Leche cake for a birthday party, it was amazing. Had the white cake with vanilla creme frosting. I will definitely be ordering cakes here in the future.

One word. Chileaquiles. U won't be disappointed. Love this family Mexican restaurant. The baked goods r delish!
