I agree with the 3 to 4 star rating, we enjoy the table side making of the guacamole but every time we order the server hates us, I guess it's a big hassle. Price is fair, food is good and it clean. Chips and Salsa is great. Tacos

I waited for 45 minutes for a take out order. When I got home I realized they had given me someone else's food. I took it back and they didn't even offer to pay for it after I drove up their twice. Once to pick it up, and twice to get the right order. The girl working the front said their was no manager on duty on a Saturday night and she couldn't do anything. The food was cold by the time I got the correct order.

Great food, but service is hit or very big miss. Called in one order to go and was told it would be ready in 15 mins. Then ended up waiting 45 min after I even gave them 20 mins before being there. Then recently, called for another to go order. Was asked to hold which is fine. Listened to them cash out another customer then 4 mins of the cashiers chit chat with the other people at the restaurant. So hung up to call back and they left the phone off the hook. Tried calling for 30 mins and even had time to drive over there trying to place the order in person only to be told the kitchen was closed by the time I got there. And the phone was still on the cashiers table right in front of her still turned on. When I asked to see the manager, was told the girl, who I'm guessing is no older than 17, was in charge and no other manager was there. I've been going to this place from the time it opened have have been typically happy, but lately the service has been terrible.

Excellent authentic Mexican. Atmosphere is not the greatest but the service and food are good. My wife and I visit often. Menu is pretty large and almost overwhelming but I haven't had anything I didn't like.

A classic-go-to option in Greenwood. I hadn't been in since they moved (across the parking lot). Wow: the interior was immaculately compared to their previous dining location. Bright, bold, colorful and filled with carved designs from floor to ceiling. Unfortunately, the overall look of the restaurant and service (Rosie was incredible!) was the highlight of this trip. I usually love their Burrito Acapulco. I don't know if they switched meat providers or just came by on an off day--- but it wasn't my favorite burrito I have ever had from them.

The waitress was great, food was wonderful, and the new location is beautiful inside. Chips aren't great though.

Walked in door 15 minutes before close and was greeted by someone saying we close in 15 minutes so we will need your order quickly. We started with cheese dip that was very thick and cold. Ordered the carnitas tacos and asada tacos, pork in green sauce, and a chicken chimi. None of our group was impressed with the food or service. Before we finished eating the server dropped the check and asked me to go and pay so they can close out the computer. I wasn't even done eating yet. This was my first visit to the new location and it appears that they have lost some of the hospitality and food quality in the move across the parking lot.

First review in the new location... World Cup coverage is guaranteed in a Mexican restaurant so I decided to give the new location of margaritas a try. Amazing decor ... Very homegrown and prideful and all together pleasing. Bathroom's are a little difficult to find. Big XX and seafood chimis were quite tasty. Salsa was a little watered down but not bad. Overall if say they have got a good thing going

This is the kind of place I will go back to. Why? The drinks are cheap, the game I wanted to watch was on, service was attentive and the food tasted good. When I try a new spot I tend to have a drink before ordering and see what others are having. Every meal that came from the kitchen looked great. Huge portions and tasty food. I ordered a chicken and veggie quesadilla with rice and beans and could only eat half of it. It was basically like ording fajittas somewhere else but for 2/3 the price. Really worth the trip.

It was one of the coldest days of the year when we went and I was looking forward to a big fat chimi or fajitas. HOWEVER, there was a huge breeze in the restaurant and naturally she sat us by the window. I should have known we were in trouble because everyone was wearing a jacket or coat (including our server). I barely touched my iced tea I was so cold, and it didn't take long for the temperature of our food to drop due to the interior temperature of the restaurant. My first visit prior to this one, this being my second, was much better, hence the return. However, due to the nature of this most recent visit, I think I'll wait until Spring before returning...just in case

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque.
