Really cool place with an amazing enviroment for either a family or a date. If you're there also check out the Brick Oven Pizza they serve. Tastes great. The pizza is a touch pricey, but you are getting a quality pizza.

What a great surprise for dinner!! The service was great and the food phenomenal!! I had the pork which was fantastic. Others had Chicken Marsala and the prime rib. All the food was excellent. I will be back with more friends. We may try to sit at the bar to watch the chef. Or, we will try the pizza oven restaurant for more casual dining. Loved it all!!

The food was fresh and properly prepared and served. The swordfish special, chicken piccata and filet were nicely fired and served hot with a clean and smart presentation. Full bar and a good variety of wines in a contemporary country setting make for a nice dining experience.

I'm from Vegas and was visiting IN for a few days for bro-in-law's wedding. We chose Richards Kitchen because it was the only place that really had any reviews in the area. The food was really good, not amazing, but really good. I came here w/ 3 "in-law" family members who are all vegetarian - I am not. We called ahead to see if they could prepare anything vegetarian for them and the chef obliged. The service was good, the food was good, and they made special meals for the vegetarians... that's 4-5 star service! However, my mother-in-law asked if the parmesan cheese was 'vegetarian'. The waiter went to ask the chef (I was watching) and the chef said, "Well what did you say? It comes from a cow!" and they all had a big laugh. Now I don't expect the waiter or most people to realize that many cheeses have animal rennet in them, but I do expect a trained chef who owns a restaurant to know this. I'm not a stickler for things (I'm really not), but I found the reaction both rude and ignorant. I understand my mother-in-law is tough to cook for, but please don't laugh at your customers... especially when you're cooking station is in front of the dining area and not 'in the back'. I almost went to tell them they could look on the packaging to find the answer, but o'well. Anyways, this restaurant had 4-5 star potential for making good food and taking care of the vegetarians... In the end, I thanked the chef for making special arrangements for my family, but didn't tell my family that I saw them laughing because they would've been offended. Oh, and the prices are a bit much in my opinion. I should add that our waiter was fantastic. Put up w/ all the veggie questions, etc. Hopefully, thats a fair review.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
