I am typically not a fan of chain restaurants. I am also a barbecue snob since I am a Big Green Egg 'Egghead' and have tasted some of the best barbecue at home. That being said, Bandana's Bar-B-Q consistently delivers excellent barbecue and service. The pulled pork, ribs, and turkey are excellent. I also like the fact most of their barbecue is served with the sauce on the side, which is the way barbecue is supposed to be served. They hold true to their motto of 'Smell That Smoke', too. When you get out of your car, the smoke is inviting...

The service was fast and friendly. The pork and beef BBQ were both very good. It melted in our mouths. The sides were also very good. Stick with the lunch portions (served all day) if you do not want to explode.

If you're looking for BBQ in tristate this it it! We came in close to closing time and the whole staff was genuinely upbeat, quite unexpected but very appreciated. Our sever Jessi was very prompt, nice and responsive without a hint of rushing us out. The food itself was fantastic and quick. I especially liked that the calorie counts were provided on virtually every menu item. Some seriously good BBQ. Give it a shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for some good BBQ, Bandana's is your place. I opted for the pork platter which comes with a 9 oz. helping of perfectly smoked hand-cut pork, two sides of your choice (I chose green beans and applesauce), and 2 slices of garlic toast. The unique thing about Bandana's is that the meat comes without sauce. YOU get to choose from the six sauce options laid out on your table. And now how the heck do they expect you to choose from Southern Style Original, KC Style, Memphis Style, St. Louis Sweet & Smokey, Chicago Sweet, and Carolina Smokin' Hot...I of course tried every sauce to have a bar-b-q throw down on my tongue. Each sauce offered a different adventure, but my favorite was the KC Style, for sure. Not to sweet, but sweet enough. Delicious. And of course you can't forget dessert. Although I was stuffed, I have a second stomach for the sweet treat offered after dinner...SO NEVER FEAR! We got their famous and ever so delicious donut holes. These are deep fried, funnel cake tasting little balls coated in powdered sugar. Don't breath in too deep when popping one of these little guys in your mouth or you'll be coughing up a storm. I give you a round of applause Bandana's.

Pork was way over cooked very dry. The thought of putting cold barbecue sauce on top of cooked meat is kind of disgusting. They really should warm up the BBQ sauces. But their $5 deal is a ok deal just order water. If you get a drink that's how they get you.

This was great for not being on Texas! The sauces are amazing. Spicy was my favorite but the Carolina Smokin Hot was pretty good. I like the heat but a little on the sweet side for my taste. The prices are great and the service outstanding! Will most definitely be back!

Evansville is essentially a food desert; there is not a lot going on there food-wise. Thank goodness for Bandana's! Solid BBQ and sides, and lo and behold Boiled Peanuts!!! In Indiana!! I'm not sure how that happened, just glad that it did!

We usually do carry-out and have always been satisfied. Their Ribs are unique for this area. They are very good stand alone but there are plenty of sauces available if you like them wet. As much as I like the Ribs, I think their Chicken is their best meat and that is not usually my preference. My wife loves their Potato Salad. Friendly staff.

Sometimes Yelp reviews let you down. Not the case for this restaurant. I got a 3 meat combo with ribs pork and beef. The smoked flavor was awesome. So flavorful on its own there was no need for sauce. Garlic toast was tasty, the sweet potato fries with crispy. The only thing a little less than stellar where the baked beans which were just ok. If I lived in this area, I'd be here once a month at least.

I've lived in Texas so I like to think my opinion can be trusted with it comes to bbq. What I wasn't expecting from the place in Evansville, IN is how damn good it would be. I had the ribs, turkey and beef... all so well done.. absolutely delicious. He had ribs, sausage and pork.. and loved it all. The sides were wonderful... The bread that comes with the meals irresistible and the beer was cold. We stopped by on a busy Friday night so the waitress wasn't spot on, but that's to be expected.

A trip to meet friends at Bandana's BBQ, 6636 Logan Drive Evansville, IN 47714 was a pleasant surprise. They offered a nice selection rubbed and smoked meats. You have a choice of Lunch size and Dinner size meals. They have a nice selection of sides dishes, sweet potatoes fries ,potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, green beans, fried okra to name a few that our table tried. I had the ribs and was very surprise at the wonderful flavor. I needed no sauce for these tasty and savory ribs they were delicious. My friend let me try the smoke turkey, it was moist a flavorful. On the table were squeeze bottles full of different flavors of sauce if you wanted to add them to your meat dishes. Our server Bre, greeted our table with smile and knew her product well. I will definitely go back here again to enjoy their delicious meals.
