The food here keeps getting better and better. The chorizo and eggs are fantastic. Be sure to try the homemade black beans in place of retried beans, you won't be disappointed.

Nice little spot to grab a few tacos and some good salsa. I always get the spicy salsa with three steak tacos. The guacamole isn't my favorite, so it's up to you to try. Just a bit too bland for me. The burrito is also very good. My cousin has told me that the chimichanga leaves something to be desired, so I have to give this place 4 stars. Great service and decent chips that are made in store.

Came here for a late lunch. Place was small. Kind of felt like you were in someone's house. Service was good. Salsa was good. I ordered carne asada and it was a tad salty and over cooked. My wife had chicken fajitas and it was good. Would come here again, but will skip the carne asada.

Love love this place. Great owners and staff too. The enchiladas Maria is my favorite dish there. My favorite salsa is the green one. Mexican food is one of my all time favorite meals too.

Great little Mexican joint. Small but solid menu. The lunch specials are a great deal and the chocolate flan is decadent.

A cute little hole in the wall with fresh salsa and outstanding mole sauce. Quick service and kid-friendly. Everything tasted really good - tender shredded chicken, flavorful ground beef, soft flour tortillas and strong crispy tacos. Downside is no alcohol, fish tacos have something like a fried Gordon's fish fillet inside, and their beans (white refried?) have a fishy taste to them. Worth going to, though!

I ate here once and it would be my last. The food is o.k. but nothing impressive. I paid 9 dollars for a dinner and it was small and not that much beans/rice. The sad thing is my wife got a big burrito with large portions of rice/beans which hers was cheaper! What's wrong with this? I couldn have gone to the Old Country Buffet for the same price and had all you could eat plus they also has a Mexican food station there. I won't be back.

The salsa was decent, not spectacular, HOWEVER, I tried the sopa de pollo and loved it! Lots of food for the price! The place was empty wen I arrived and I suddenly found it filled with locals and families who joked and laughed with the owner/cook who seemed to know all by first name!

Had to write an update since we went again yesterday. Their fish tacos are REALLY GOOD!!! Love them! I'm not a huge fan of their refried beans/rice that come on the side for their dinners - but I still think their pork tacos are AWESOME!

You'll be pleased with this cozy restaurant. If you're a fan of fresh salsa, I liked all three varieties. Authentic southwestern food served quickly. Big portions small price.

Nasty ass food. Didn't even make it home before I crapped my pants. Brown guacamole. Salty as hell meat. And strange colored beans. Not good.

Terrific family-run restaurant. Always friendly service and the food never disappoints. Have to try hard not to fill up on their tomatillo salsa and chips. Love their street tacos, enchiladas, sopes, etc.

Simply put...the food is just good!! Its always fresh and seasoned well. We usually make some type of special modifications to our orders and they have never gotten it wrong! Its a quaint restaurant with some seating and the good service. I highly recommend all of their tacos and burritos. I wish they were open a little later, but its on par with other restaurants in the area. I happen to think their beef tacos are the best in the area and the steak is just as good. I hope this place survives..Dyer needs it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
