This restaurant has changed hands in the last year, apparently, as per our server. We were meandering down SR 40 during the annual garage sale and were starving. This place looked quaint so we tried it out. The ambiance is sports bar meets antique store. The bar was originally at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and is amazing to see. The service was fast, friendly and attentive. My husband had the footlong chili dog which he loved. I thought it was a bit sweet but the dog was grilled perfectly. I had a buffalo chicken wrap and it was absolutely delicious. A bit of heat but not overpowering. The chicken was grilled spot on. Their fries are beer battered steak fries. I wasn't sure about that because I'm pretty old school when it comes to french fries. I ate all of mine and part of my husband's. I guess you CAN teach an old dog new tricks. Great food.

Where to start. I literally made my yelp account to post this review, the food was that bad. Poor quality meat, low end produce, and worse cooking produced a horrible hamburger not fit for human consumption. My daughter got a foot long coney of the same quality. She left it about 75% uneaten, she did however eat the entire coney she got from dairy Queen 15 minutes later. My 2 year Olds chicken nuggets were hard as rocks and the fries all around were horrible. Add 15 minutes to get our drink orders and 20 minutes after that to have our order taken and they assured we would not be back. The server asked how everything tasted, I informed her it was not good, she said well let me know if there is anything I can do. $55.00 later for two 13 year olds, a 2 year old and 2 adults and we are gone never to return. I know this place is new, but wow... bad bad bad. Save yourself the headache or belly ache in this case and just drive to burger king, you'll have a better dinner.

We've been to the Wheelhouse Grill twice. Both times the food was very good. We've had burgers both times. I like it that there are lots of sides to choose from. My daughter had the fries, which were the big steakhouse style. She loved them. I'm not big on fries and got mashed potatoes. My husband got a baked potato. My mother got green beans and my son also had the fries. The previous time we visited I got a salad as my side. The burgers were juicy and a nice size. You can choose to put nearly anything on your burger at no extra price. Lettuce, tomato and onion are automatic unless you don't want them. And then there were 8 (I think) other choices, such a a variety of cheeses, fried onions, blue cheese crumbles, avocado, etc, also at no extra charge. I had a Bloody Mary to drink both times, and it was good both times. My mom had a beer, which she liked, though she wished that they had a darker beer among the choices. I don't recommend going if you're in a hurry. Both times, our food was slow to arrive, though the waitress was friendly and the food was warm and as-ordered when it arrived. This most recent visit was on a Thursday night and we were pleasantly surprised that there was live music. My groups' ages ranged from 16 to 80 that night, and every one of us liked the singers and the songs they played. We'll definitely be back. It's a GREAT addition to Centerville.

One of my least favorite dining experiences... Let's start from the beginning: 1. We walk in the door for the first time and there is no sign posted saying to seat yourself or wait to be seated. So we bounce around for a few minutes before having to solicit help from a waitress who has passed us several times. She tells us to wait and eventually someone else comes to a podium. Before greeting us, the lady proceeds to check her phone in the mountain of junk stashed in the corner behind. 2. The lighting: They have used what equates to flood lights in the low hanging ceiling. It is sooo bright in the dining room that we had to shield our eyes during conversation. 3. The beer: My father in-law and I order a large coors light draft, the waitress kindly accepts and then returns with pint sized glasses. We ask if this was the large and she now says they only have one size. HOWEVER, I can clearly see a 22oz glass of blue moon on the table across. 4. While looking over their failed attempt to be creative with the menu delivery (laminated sheets ringed to clip boards) the family behind us was just biting into their wheel house burgers. They call the waitress over complaining that the advertised stuffed cheese patty was missing the stuffing. The waitress responded with "we'll, sorry." So we proceeded to order onion straws, steaks, and salads. 5. We start sipping our water only to realize it tastes like a garden hose. 6. The onion straws were quite tasty, and the miniature pot for the sauce was neat. However, the sauce needs a little more flavor as it's not on par with Buffalo Wild Wings chipotle ranch. 7. Our steaks arrive and the waitress leaves before asking us to check the temperatures, both were over cooked and not near as flavorful las the #09 restaurant. We both salted and used A1. 8. All the plates are the same size... TOO DAMN SMALL. Each of us had to remove our sides from the place just to manage the meat. 9. The Mac and cheese was lava hot like it had just been microwaved. 10. When we leave, ironically, there are no lights outside and we almost fall down the steps. In summary, I would only return if someone else were paying as I will not be wasting my money here again.

Not impressed. Service is slow, drinks are Dixie sized cups.... And if I ever get to order I'll let you know how the food is but that isn't looking too good..... nacho meat taste like its burnt and from a can, burger size is small and mine came with a 6 inch hair in the burger, yum.... But the waitress was pretty good. This being a new place, I hope it can pull itself out of the opening day slump.

COULD BE NEAT. DEFINITELY NEEDED. (Three of four previous reviews were 1-star. The other was a 5-star. Suspicious?) Surroundings: cool. Service: excellent. Burger: okay. Tenderloin: pork fritter on bun (like in school). Fries: bragged about, but nothing special. Slaw: tiny and tasteless. Wheelhouse Grill is definitely needed and could be neat, but not today. Average food. Big-city prices. 3 STARS

I was passing through town on business and decided to try the new establishment. I ordered a Tanquery Tonic and it was quite good. It was served promptly and on the diesel side, which I prefer. I saw some of the food plates going by and it looked quite good. I retired to a table and ordered a burger, fries, and beer. The food came and I was quite pleased. Fries were golden brown and piping hot. The cheeseburger was impressive! Also had a great draft beer, but can't remember the name, but hte beer was fresh which is a good sign that the lines are properly maintained. The bartender was very nice and the wait staff quite helpful. I have read a few other reviews on here and I'm baffled. Perhaps, they went to the wrong place? New places usually take a while to work out the bugs, the Wheelhouse felt like it was an old CenterVille staple.
