This place is as good as it gets. Hands down, best sushi in Indianapolis. Very inventive and just overall absolutely amazing maki and dinner entrees. Even presentation is so modern. The fusion of Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai in one place is just so creative. One of my favorites happens to be their namesake "miracle" sushi. It's white tuna with lime and spicy wasabi. I even told the friendly owner that I'm comparing him the chef to Chef Nobu...Yes, it's that good.

I have never seen a place go down hill so fast. After eating here a few times, and each time having a great experience, i gave it a 5 star review. I went there the other day and it was a service and food disaster. We made reservations for two but we were forced to stand there waiting for a table And a group of 4 walk ins were seated a head of us. We were then seated right next to the people who were seated before us, at a table for four, so it was not a case of waiting for a table for two to open. Then we waited and waited for our drink order, our food order, and the bill. I was never offered a second drink and we had to flag down another server to get a second drink for my guest and the bill. It took so Damn long I just wanted to get out of there. The scallops I ordered were a bit undercooked, and they complete forgot to bring the frites we ordered. My guest ordered a sushi roll and they told us that it Might be a long wait. For a sushi roll? I can't recommend this place going forward.

My wife and loved it! - a true "Miracle" since she's a beginner at the sushi lifestyle. Pros: - Excellent Sashimi and Rolls - Amazing Service - Small Business - New, Clean, Modern Restaurant Cons: - Can't think of anything So stoked that this new sushi place near my apartment was so good. The staff was friendly and didn't mind explaining dishes to myself and beginner wife. The restaurant was spotless and decorated in a modern Asian style. The food was amazing. We had the Crispy Smoked Salmon roll, Firecracker roll, Super White sashimi and the salmon sashimi. Sean, the owners son (I think) checked on us regularly (in addition to our assigned waiter) and was extremely helpful in explaining different items and even showing us photos of the dish from his phone. A+++

Miracle is close to home and a great value and they have reasonable prices. We stopped in on Saturday just before noon, the dining room wasn't very full but that didn't bother me at all. The wait staff was great and very attentive, the spring roll app and the maki rolls, firecracker and crispy delight, were great. We'll defiently be back!

Some great creative presentations along with some punchy flavors; had The Miracle, Japanese Pico de Gallo and Crispy Smoked Salmon. Also had some interesting desserts: Banana Spring Rolls with Ganache and an Orange Icebox Pie with Meringue. Definitely a place on the repeat-list.

Finely-crafted rolls packed with fresh flavors. My husband and I split the Kazan and Apple Blossom rolls and they were equally delicious. We'll never go to another sushi establishment so long as Miracle is here.

Ugh, I had such high hopes. Looking at some of the reviews here and a personal recommendation from a friend, we tried out Miracle for take out. It was a comedy of errors. First, they denied ever having received our order when we arrived. Maybe denied is a bad way to put it, really, they just stared blankly at me obviously confused. Eventually they discovered that a waiter had taken our order. All was good and we were all smiling until I realized that, while the waiter had taken my order, he had never put it in. I had waited for 25 minutes before coming down and it looked like I would be standing in the restaurant for 25 more. I got my food and headed out without an apology. Disappointing. As for the food, it was middle of the road. The sushi we got was good, not great, but still good and I could see that they were willing to play with flavors so I appreciate that. I don't know that I would pass up Sakura to come to Miracle, but at this point I was thinking that maybe we could give them another shot. Maybe it was an off night. That was, until we got to the duck eggrolls. The duck was cooked well but my wife and I agreed that there wasn't enough veggie in it. As in, very little, almost none. Pretty much just a nicely fried roll of duck. The duck had to have the dipping sauce because, while cooked nicely for texture, it had not been flavored. Bummer. But wait, my friends, there's more! My wife goes for her last bite of eggroll only to pull out a 2 inch shard of duck bone. It had been cut with a knife (or neatly broken) and was really sharp on one end. Had she swallowed it, we would have been in the ER pronto. It was a serious yikes moment for two people who will generally look on the brighter side of a restaurant experience (hence my 2 star rating, instead of 1, because I hope they can get better and refine some more). Just gotta be honest. We won't be going back. Indy is no longer sushi starved like it once was and, while I wish Miracle good luck, we just can't give them another shot.

The staff was very nice and the atmosphere comfortable, taste was good , however the portions are small and not satisfying if you are very hungry.

Tonight was our first visit to Miracle and it was beyond our expectations. The waiter brought us a nice pre-appetizer of duck cracklings with sweet chili sauce on the house. It was a very nice teaser. Tapas we tried were the short ribs and Thai Curry calamari. Both were so full of flavor. Short ribs were oh so tender. The main course was the Nutty Crab and the Flaming Dragon. Both were so full of flavor. Still needing a bit more so we ended with the Apple Blossom. It had such a nice fresh flavor with the apple, jalapeño and cilantro. Will definitely be back.

I could not be more impressed by the entire staff and food. I have driven by this new Asian cuisine sushi bar a numerous amount of times, for one reason or another I underestimated this delicacy located so close to my girlfriends home. After reading excellent reviews we decided to give it a try for her birthday dinner. The atmosphere was fun, the plates were beautiful, and of course the food was delicious. They have an interesting tapas style of menu that allows several items to be chosen in one dinner. We talked with the owner immediately for a few seconds and even met him after we indulged on amazing salads, sushi, quail, green tea mochi, and of course some damn good cheap sake. Never thought I would find a place to compare to south side Sammy's Ichiban, but the day has come. I will absolutely be adding this one to my list of favorite modern Asian restaurants.

Wife and I went here on a whim after all the great reviews posted here on Yelp. I was somewhat skeptical of all the glowing reviews but I was completely blown away by Miracle. The ambiance is interesting. A very trendy looking bar greets you as you enter from the rear of the building. The tables are fairly unassuming and avoid the cheesy "welcome to how Americans perceive Tokyo" decor. This review is coming about two weeks after dining here so I don't remember exactly what we ordered. We got 3 specialty rolls and a sashimi. It was fantastic. This place has now jumped to the top of our best sushi in Indy list. Now we don't have to go to Broad Ripple for good sushi! I will say Miracle is a little pricey. The average specialty roll is around $12-$15. But for the quality of the food the price is worth it. From the outside Miracle is a pretty plain looking storefront amongst a row of shops but definitely give this place a try!

Right off the bat, the chef brought us out some wasabi deviled eggs which were complimentary and incredible. Don't usually get appetizers but glad we did with the egg rolls--some of the best I've ever had being crisp and fresh. Very attentive staff with one of the most uniquely inspired menus I've seen in all of Indiana. Definitely will be back to try their dinner menu.

Enjoyable atmosphere. Spicy sashimi was nicely spiced - nice warmth remained afterward. Nigiri - tuna and white tuna was excellent. Eel good. Spicy tuna roll was heavy cucumber and lighted on fish than my guest prefers. Seared scallop spoon was enjoyable. Service was good. Pricing fair but as with sushi will add up. Recommended. If you are familiar with the old restaurant this one is more up scale. Also have an interesting non-sushi menu.

Very newly opened, but off to a good start. We tried 7 or 8 different sushi items and almost all of them were very good. The sushi balls which are their signature item seemed a bit bland, but we really liked the miracle roll and orange roll. The apple blossom roll was good too, but only if you're OK with really spicy the things things. The decor and atmosphere and location are very nice. Feels more upscale than E. Miracle did, but still casual enough to be comfortable. Nice wine and beer list, if not extensive. Service was friendly and prodessional. Food was little slow, but we did order a lot and again they haven't been open for long. Good experience, I'd recommend them.

Fresh and innovative. We enjoyed the rolls, but don't miss the meals. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a fantastic sauce. Relaxing atmosphere.

This place is great, we love it here! My husband and I have been in a few times and the owner and some of the servers recognize us now, which is nice, makes it feel neighborhood-friendly, since we live nearby. We came once in the first few weeks it was open and it was VERY busy. So busy that the food was taking a VERY long time to come out. The owner was apologetic and discounted our bill. Since then, they've definitely worked out the kinks and we haven't experienced wait times like that since. The sushi is amazing, some of the best I've had. The sushi roll with the apples in it is my favorite! But we've tried them all and there hasn't been one we haven't liked.

I decided to give this restaurant 3 stars for overall experience. The environment was very clean and chic. It was pretty fancy!! The waiters, waitress' and owner was exceptionally nice, professional and attentive. They made sure to make our experience there wonderful and personal. As busy as it was, my water was always filled and emptied plates were always cleared from the table before another entree came out. We ordered the braised pork appetizer which was awesome! Loved the flavor and just how tender the meat was. The steak was delicious! The only disappointments I had was that the Quail Pad Thai I ordered was overly salty and didn't really taste like pad thai, which could explain why my water glass was filled several times, and it was pretty pricey! Quail was yummy though! Since I'm pregnant, I wasn't able to order sashimi, which I believe is the main highlight. But we're definitely coming back again after the baby is born to try it out!! Thanks Miracle for making our experience awesome! See you again soon!

Loved this place when it was in Fishers as EMiracle and today ate at the new Miracle in Carmel. It was wonderful as always and plan to go back as often as I can.

Went for first time with family 3 young (adult girls). Food was very good. Small portions, as expected for sushi, and not just standard fare. Some unique flavored. A bit expensive. We had 3 rolls, 2 nigri, 3 miso soup, 2 entrees, one desert and no drinks for $121. Would go back with just wife.

  • Jennifer R.

Excellent! Sushi was fresh and flavorful. Oysters were fairly good, though little compares to Noah Grant's. Dumplings were tasty - interesting and different. Cosmo smelled better than it tasted. We will be back!

My favorite sushi spot in Indy. Creative rolls that are absolutely AMAZING. My favorites are the Kazan (spicy), firecracker, Apple blossom, the Miracle and the Nutty Crab. The curried sausage egg roll appetizers are amazing. Be sure to come by on Monday nights for football and try the surprise wings. The flavor is a surprise (Thai curry is the current favorite), but surprise in a good way.

I'm not sure how to appropriately rate this place. The food was pretty good but horribly overpriced for the portions but the service was horrendous - so I had to score based on that information as well. I went in on a Saturday evening for dinner with a friend. As soon as I asked for a table for 2 I was told that they were under staffed and that food might be running long. I thought to myself, well it's a hostess so maybe she really doesn't know how the kitchen is running, she looked like a teenager. Sadly, she was right. It took the server forever to take just our drink order and then even longer to bring the drinks over and take our food order. He told us about 5 times that they were understaffed and he was having a hard time handling all the tables and that food was running behind. Honestly, the place isn't that large - it's smaller than a McDonalds if that helps you guess. And although it was busy, there were a few other servers. He told us to expect an hour wait for food - of course after we had already ordered and sat there for awhile. It didn't end up taking an hour and the sushi rolls were really great but definitely not worth the price. Everything is al la carte so I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes because he said they wouldn't take long to make. The al la carte side items didn't match the menu at all - mashed potatoes? But then again, I got them, so who am I to judge? I'm not sure if I will go back to this place. I had no miracle occur in my sushi, my mouth or my wallet.

After reading recent reviews, I was prepared to be underwhelmed. No way - the sushi was fantastic. The rolls were unique, with flavor combinations that surprised me. There is one with lime that particularly blew me away. Service was strong and polite. So were the cocktails. Would not hesitate to go back!

Yum. Had lunch here today--had a great roll and dessert. This place is immaculate, food is very fresh, chefs are legit, and staff is uber friendly. I've tried sushi all around Indy and I've never had a better experience. I'm looking forward to stopping by for lunch again, and trying out their dinner menu. (scallops! steak!) My sis and I will definitely be going there soon for sushi and cocktails. GREAT!

Absolutely delicious! Had the Nutty Crab and the Miracle. Service was excellent . . . Server was very informed and offered great suggestions. Great presentation. Intimate atmosphere. Certainly lived up to the recommendations from friends. At the top of our list.

Best Korean/Japanese food you'll find in Carmel. The sushi was pretty good (interesting flavors and textures like orange, almond, and lotus), but our appetizer, the pan-seared tofu with kimchi pancake and edamame purée, was a knockout!

Went for lunch with friends, enjoyed the sushi and pancake appetizer. A good option if in the area, but not sure I'd travel out of my way for it.

Went here for dinner on 10/19 SERVICE/AMBIENCE The ambience was very nice and quiet - a little pretentious but hey....it's in Carmel. Our server was attentive but not friendly at all. He seemed annoyed that we showed up for dinner but provided good service otherwise. APPETIZER We had the Thai deviled eggs and they were very good although I don't know they were much different than regular deviled eggs ;) Tablemates reported that both the house salad and seaweed salad were good but seaweed got higher marks ENTREE The Firecracker roll was amazing! Other rolls were fresh and good quality as well. We also got the baked oysters and the flavor was odd as if the oysters had not been cleaned properly... DESSERT GET THE MOCHI ICE CREAM!!! We tried both the pineapple and strawberry and both were outstanding!!

We were invited for a wedding/dinner rehearsal for about twenty people. The staff was beyond pleasant, accommodating & attentive. Not only did the owner engage in conversation with our party - I noticed he went around & did the same with all his customers. Very impressed. The food!! Oh my, we had a little bit of literally everything on the menu, it was so fresh & so clean(lol). Absolutely fantastic!

Went here for lunch, started with kimchi pancake (kimchijeon). It was four individual round pancakes with a sweet sauce drizzled on top. Each about the size of a sand dollar. Overall, pretty good and the sweet sauce was really delicious. Only complaint would be that Kimchijeon is not that difficult or expensive to make, so I felt like they could have been a bit bigger, or there could have been a couple more of them. For my entree, I had the (dolsat) Bibimbap. It was faaaantastic. It had bulgogi (beef), tofu, carrots, bean sprouts, zucchini, and a poached egg on rice in a hot clay pot. It also had a spicy chili sauce on the side. I'm used to having a hot pepper sauce (gochujang) for my bibimbap but this one had an awesome sweet kick to it. I would definitely get it again. Overall, the food was good. I look forward to trying one of the sushi rolls next time. I know that the restaurant is "modern asian" so they really try to Americanize some asian dishes to make them more appealing to the non-asian people of Carmel. However, it would be nice to see a few more traditional options. That's part of the fun in going an an Asian restaurant sometimes. "Samgyeopsal? Oh that sounds awesome, I will try it." I really wish they had some type of ssam dish. Like bossam. That would be pretty awesome. Or some kind of modernization of ramen (the good Japanese kind, not the kind you eat in college). A couple notes about the experience. No banchan with the bibimbap. But I went for lunch, so I wasn't very surprised. I asked for a spoon for my bibimbap and was given a normal spoon. Would really have preferred sujeo. I'll probably try asking for a soup spoon next time instead. Or maybe just take my own because I'd prefer stainless steel chopsticks to their wooden ones anyways. Also, the music was like soft rock or something - felt a little off. The waitress was awesome, though! Definitely planning on returning in the near future. Maybe next time I'll get "service" like a couple of people have posted in their pictures. ;)

Let me preface this review by saying - I'm not a big fan of the large swath of culinary delights known as "asian food". In fact, I hate sushi and seafood. This quick review is largely based on the service side of the place. The decor feels like it's only half done. There are split-in-half chinese village doors hanging on the walls horizontally -- I think that was an odd choice. Unfortunately they did not offer enough color to offset the TARDIS blue that permeated every surface on the place (walls, chairs). The service was acceptable. No complaints, but also no standouts. The water-guy was attentive but our waitress was harried and rushing around. While they say they have a full service bar, don't ask for a margarita. Stick to their martinis because - if they had any tequila back there, I didn't at the bottom of my lime juice. The food I did eat - was ok, but lackluster in asian spice or taste. I ordered the quail dish (quail, egg, noodles). First, the waitress brings out a steak knife - I ask her what it was for, she said "To cut the quail." I joked with my dining companion that the knife was bigger than the bird. Second, the noodles were SWEET. I'm not sure why - I expected something savory and salty, not sweet. Next, as a side, I ordered "Garlic Wasabi Mash" - hoping for something "hot". Unfortunately they must be "dumbing it down" for anglican palates because, out of three bites, I only had a hint of wasabi on one of them. Luckily one of my friends at the table had ordered sushi so I stole her wasabi and blended it in until the mash was green. The star that bumps this from a "just ok, sure, whatever" to a "they have my appreciation" is that the owner came by, asked how we liked the desert, and when we confessed we found it to be disgusting (and not at all an ice-box cake, which coming from the south, we were very familiar with) - well, he removed it from our tab. That's classy and deserves my appreciation and benefit of the doubt.

My first thought walking in here was that I had made a huge mistake. Fancy Asian fusion places have not resulted in good experiences for me in the past. In fact, I tend to prefer the hole-in-the-wall places much more. I find that restaurants like this tend to charge you an arm and a leg for food that is much less flavorful and authentic than the real thing. Well...that was sort of the case here. All I went here for was the sushi. I didn't get any of their real fancy specialty rolls. I stuck to nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. First...the spicy tuna roll was small. I mean...tiny. I'd say it was about 1/2-3/4 the size of a regular sushi roll. They also used a lot less rice than I'm used to. I normally prefer less rice in my sushi. But this was a rare case of me wanting a little more. The same could be said for the nigiri. Now, the flavor was very good. And I could tell the fish was frozen, but hey...we're in Indy. I can't really expect fresh caught fish I guess. I ended up spending $40 for 10 pieces of nigiri, a roll, and a beer. Think about that...that's like a little bit over 2 rolls for...say $35. That means roughly $17 a roll. For that price I definitely should have gotten more rice! Haha. I'd come back for the quality I suppose. But only if my company was paying for it.

AMAZING SUSHI!!! I seriously haven't had this great of sushi since I last ate at Japonee in Bloomington *before it burnt down in 2013. It has since been rebuilt and reopened, but I haven't been back there since then. Anyways, at Miracle, I had a bowl of White miso soup, a spicy tuna roll and the Apple Blossom (which has: Apple, Jalapeno, Spicy Salmon, Cilantro, Masago, Spicy Mayo, Sweet Wasabi Sauce.) Let me tell ya, the apple blossom was AMAZING!! It was a delicious party in my mouth! TOTALLY GO!!! It is really good sushi and really well priced. I honestly didn't mind paying $10 for the Apple Blossom roll because it tasted amazing.

I am not from the area so I yelped to find a good sushi place. This place had good reviews. Well the reviews did not match the food. The sushi was not fresh. I would hesitate to go back.

OMG. I this is something I didn't think existed in Indy, but turns out it's right down the street from me. By all means, try the bulgogi bang mi. I'm sure to expand, but boy did I like that.

This is my favorite sushi in town. Whether you get the rolls or sashimi I'd expect one of your better sushi experiences in Indy. The staff is great, atmosphere is somewhat cosmopolitan but relaxed. Really good spot.

What a great restaurant. The food and the service were both fantastic. A place you must try. The Flaming Dragon roll and the Nutty Crab were the best sushi items my wife and I have had in Indy. Our server, Christian, was awesome. Service was fast and the food arrived quickly. Prices for dinner were inline with other sushi restaurants with some items priced lower than expected. Overall a great place to enjoy an evening. We're definitely going back! Don't miss out on this place.

I love sushi and am a Sushi snob! Miracle Sushi in Carmel, blew me away with the service and the quality of sushi, my only regret was I couldn't eat more, so many options on the menu this is a must for any sushi lover. I will for sure be a regular! Bibeau

  • Ann T.

Presentation was awesome! Decor was nice, modern and clean. Service was good. Had the mackerel nigiri and the taste was great but the portion was way too small. Also had the egg rolls which were not very good. They had an Indian flare instead of a Japanese or Korean flare I was expecting. Biggest complaint was the music. It was too loud, extremely outdated and the genres didn't match the elegant ambiance of the restaurant. Enjoyed this restaurant a lot more before the move to carmel when it was in fishers.

This is one of my favorite places to go for sushi. The staff is always so knowledgeable about the menu and the service is fantastic. The food there is really outstanding. I would say that the only 'con' that I can think of is the ambiance. It feels a little unfinished, but being such a new restaurant I think that will resolve itself in the future.

We went here with our kids, the service was super friendly and very quick. The maki rolls were great, I really liked the Miracle roll and firecracker roll. There really is no kids menu so we ordered fried rice, broccolini (which was amazing!), and a California roll. So it worked out. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place has exceeded expectations both times we have been there. Very special touches and some unique dishes make this a standout. The Bacon Kimchee is addicting. My husband was skeptical but I convinced him to try and he loved it! The sushi is some of the best I have had in Indy.

Upscale sushi now near you! Miracle is a lovely place for a date or to celebrate an event. Personally, I prefer lower key, casual sushi joints (primary reason for the 3 stars). They have a wonderful selection of Special Maki; be sure to try the Apple Blossom and South of the Border. The staff members are very friendly and professional. Sometimes they have half price bottles of wine so time it right. One downside is that the service is slow but that could be because they are new and just figuring out what works best. Enjoy!

Great food and service! The rolls are very interesting and different in a good way. All 3 of us loved the food and the experience. The owner came over and chatted with us to see if everything was OK, which us always a nice touch. It almost looks closed because the windows are tinted but it is open and you should go

Finally a great sushi restaurant in Carmel. Excellent service. Dining room is quiet, classy casual. Bar is a more relaxed, hip, chat with strangers experience. I had nigiri (super white was perfect, yellow fin, also perfect). Braised pork belly small plate wis a delicious add-on. Topped my meal with the green salad which has a surprising little spice kick. I am very lucky to have this spot in my neighborhood. I'll be back, often.

Wow! I had lunch and ordered the miracle roll, apple blossom and had their green tea. Those two rolls were the best I have ever had in my 30 yrs of having sushi. Atmosphere was pleasant and wait staff was so helpful. ..they are not afraid to make recommendations...will definitely be back!!!

A good friend recommended Miracle Sushi to my sister and I the other night, claiming it was their favorite sushi spot in Carmel. Being longtime residents ourselves, we jumped at the opportunity to try a new place. Expectations were set high after doing extensive menu research on yelp and the company website. We ordered duck egg rolls, calamari, nigiri, and two maki rolls. The duck egg rolls were much smaller than pictured and had very low quality meat inside. The calamari was average, but cold when we brought it home. Sushi rolls were ok, but small. All in all, this place was very average and I probably would not return. There are many other options in the Indy area that are much better.

Wow! Absolutely amazing fresh sushi and rolls. Nigiri super white tuna and salmon was the best I have had including restaurants in San Francisco and New York. The Miracle roll with Jalopeno had an amazing blend and balance of flavors and textures including citrus, savoury, crunch and heat. Excellent meal.

Joshua was my server he was amazing and very informative! I had eaten sushi before but he made the experience eau and exciting. The food was delicious and was some pic the best sushi I've had in Indy! The desserts were our of this world I can not wait to go back.

From the modern decor to the "hello" tasting spoon from the kitchen when you walk in, this new addition to the Carmel foodie scene is on point. The wait staff was extremely attentive and offered amazing recommendations. The menu has already undergone two iterations to make sure it has the most unique offerings in the city. The spring rolls kalbi option served with miso sauce was the perfect start. Look to pair the spicy Flaming Dragon with the sweetness of the Orange Salmon roll. The only downside to dinner was not having enough room for one of the delicious sounding desserts. I look forward to a future visit to try out the highly recommended Firecracker, along with the Apple Blossom and Lemon Grass Panna Cotta. Closer look at their lunch menu has me excited for Bento in the near future.

I honestly do not know how this place can not get anything less than 5 stars. I have been here 2X's, each over a year apart (I live in AZ) and I was completely impressed with every aspect. The customer service was phenomenal - every person was above friendly and went way out of their way for us and the rolls were some of the best I have ever had, and we have amazing sushi here in Scottsdale AZ!. Highly recommend this place. We did sit at the bar so that might help some too with the customer service interaction.

What a total bummer. I'm not sure if this was worth downgrading to 2 stars from 4 or not but after finishing this review, I decided that indeed I'd give it a 2. I think the majority of the issues experienced today was from the fact we arrived with a group of 10 and possibly overwhelmed them. This should not really be an excuse for them as they have seating for around 50ish and there could not have been more than 18 people there including our 10. First thing that made me sad was that my favorite item on the menu, the chicken teriyaki sandwich, is gone. :( Oh well, time for something new! We arrived and ordered our food. It took a while which was expected, but when it came out, the majority of the food was cold. In particular the Ginger Frites. I'm guessing they made a batch that sat there until everything was done and then plated. The problem is, fries get cold very quickly and you cannot let them sit that long. The manager came by to apologize and replaced the fries for us. Unfortunately, my sandwich was also cold, as well as two other sandwiches at the table. It was not worth the trouble to send back and wait again so we ate them. I ordered the Bulgogi Honey Roll which was a new sandwich on the menu replacing the chicken sandwich that was my favorite. This thing is TINY. It has about a quarter cup of Bulgogi beef on a roll sized sandwich bun. In their defense, the dish IS called honey roll but for $14, I did NOT expect such as small sandwich. What exactly was worth $14 about this thing? I would pay $6-7 MAX. The fries being cold was just a cherry on top of a disappointing dish. One of my co-workers ordered the Asian Taco Salad. This dish promised a play on the Mexican taco salad with Asian ingredients. They basically use Bulgogi instead of ground beef, and wasabi instead of guacamole. It also has a few other elements like curry and edamame beans in there. Sounds like it would be good right? NOPE, it was pretty flavorless after trying a bite. I tried a bite after my co-worker complained "ew, this is terrible" and I didn't believe her. If you see this dish, it actually looks great, in fact, I was jealous. After trying it....wow do looks deceive. The chips they used for the shell were normal tortilla chips that were flavorless and boring like chips you get from large generic brands from GFS. The Bulgogi was poorly spiced, and none of the other ingredients came together in the dish. The worst part? This thing was $15!!! We had a few other issues that I believe stemmed from miscommunication between our party and the server that I cannot be mad at anyone for. but still left a bad taste in people's mouth. Other than the manager coming by after we complained regarding the fries, no other apologies were given. I'm not sure how a restaurant can afford to have 10 people leave unhappy and tell people of their experience. It wasn't like they were busy and couldn't get to us in time, it was more like they were annoyed. I understand being annoyed, I understand they probably felt like we were just complaining, but you never let the customer feel that way. At the end of the day, I have to ask myself the question I always ask when I finish a review. Would I pay the price I paid for the quality I received? The answer is a HUGE resounding no. The chicken sandwich I used to get was $9 and was meaty and delicious. This Bulgogi Roll was $13 and tiny like a dinner roll. I have no idea why prices have been raised, but it just put Miracle outside of my lunch budget allotment. I may give this place another try at a work event, or if a vendor is paying to see if things have changed as I've enjoyed this place in the past. I just can't see myself going back soon.

Nice place! Rolls were good, but were smaller than I am used to. However, the bowl (small bowl) of miso was HUGE. I asked to make sure they had given me the right one-it was! Giant! It also had mushrooms in it, as well as a very slight wasabi taste to it. Sushi was fresh. Good experience!

Wow glad to have this close by. My wife and I had an opportunity to get out for a late dinner and having just noticed this place a few days prior decided to stop in and give it a try and we were both glad we did. The interior was modern and very nice and the service was outstanding at providing knowledge of all the dishes as well as suggestions on what would pair together well. The meal started with a sweet chile cucumber amuse that was just given to us for coming in. The sweet chili flavor was good but I'm not a big cucumber fan so that part was a miss for me but the fact that it was just given to us was a great first impression. After that we shared a small plate of pork belly in broth with a rice ball and also a couple sides of garlic ginger fries and a bacon kimchi. The pork belly dish was amazing and could have probably eaten 10 of those by myself. The fries were nice and fresh but the garlic ginger flavor was very faint so they basically just tasted like regular french fries. The bacon kimchi was our least favorite dish of the evening but having never had kimchi before it may just be that we don't like kimchi in general. After that we got some sushi to share and what we ordered was a tuna nigiri, a flaming dragon roll, and a Kazan roll. The tuna was very good and seemed very fresh. The Kazan roll was ok but there was a smokiness to the sauce that overpowered the rest of the roll. The flaming dragon roll was outstanding and something I would definitely go back for. We also shared a banana spring roll desert that was tasty as well. Overall this was an excellent meal and I can't wait to go back to try some other dishes with a 5* being totally possible.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this new gem. Ambiance was trendy and casual and while I was not expecting amazing things from an Indy suburban sushi joint, I now have a standard to compare all other Indy sushi to. I started with the tuna tartare as an app. Very fresh tuna with the perfect amount of seasoning. The egg was delish (didn't need to be deep fried but was still boiled to perfection). For dinner I went with the apple blossom roll (truly amazing). The sauce used was incredible and the minced cilantro with apple bits on top was genius and unique. My second roll was the spicy yellowtail roll with scallions added. Both rolls had extremely fresh fish and were artfully crafted. Not too much rice, small bites, good cuts of fish. Service was very friendly, especially when I left my kindle there and they let me come back after closing to retrieve it. I will gladly return here every time I an in town. Miracle can easily give any Chicago sushi joint a run for their money.

Very impressed with this contemporary asian cuisine spot! The location is close to home and my husband and I intend to stop by frequently. Simple atmosphere and a clean, organized, and well stocked sushi/bar area. Plenty of booth seating and friendly staff. I loved how we were greeted and seated immediately, our waiter introduced himself and brought waters, then gave us his recommendations since we were new. Professional and informative, just what we were looking for! Also, the waiter (Robert, he was great!), brought us out two spoonfuls of something that were the chef's special and let me tell you, it was a tastebud awakening bite. So refreshing and great way to start off our meal experience. Since I am still new to sushi we ordered the Crispy Smoked Salmon which included smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber, and was fried. Crunchy and creamy, perfect roll for me! Then my husband chose the Firecracker roll per our waiter's recommendation. I tired it, skeptical of the spicy makeup, it was delicious! We were very satisfied with our choices. We were anxious to try some sashimi as well and the owner, Sean, came right over with suggestions for beginners. The Super White Tune was chilled, fresh, and had a new thick texture I've never experienced before, we loved it! So much so that we had him suggest another, the Salmon. The Salmon was almost buttery the way it melted in my mouth. I could have swallowed it whole! We considered trying one more roll but we knew we'd be back! Thanks Miracle, we loved our dinner!
