Waitress was great. Food was ok. Inexpensive. Upsides: varied menu, but vegans stay away. Comfy. Downsides: they have no real butter, just the Land-of-Lakes flavored vegetable oil masquerading as actual butter. Somewhat varied selection of tea; there is a hint in this statement. Not low-carb in any stretch of the imagination. Tinny country music, worse than the worst Denny's. Parking lot is like Dresden after the bombing-- be very aware just how deep the ruts can be; don't lose an axle.

As you can see from my profile I am from the East Coast and have travelled extensively and frequently post reviews. It is a RARE occurrence which allows me to use all five stars (I don't take it lightly). I rate in accordance with the venue type. You can't compare the Ritz with a fast food joint (let alone a diner). Sunrise Restaurant is at the top of. my list for a Downhome Diner! The Staff during my visit was extremely friendly and accomodating. The Coffee was very fresh, full bodied, and TASTY. My breakfast (eggs, ham steak, and whole wheat toast(with orange garnish)) was perfectly prepared. The facility was fresh and clean. Though some slight maintenance may be needed in a few spots, it didn't take away from this place's charm. Will definitely stop again when passing through and am in need of a meal.

Awesome Diner! House chicken is savory. Breakfast items are awesome. It is a diner, you go here for awesome hand prepared food not ambiance. That being said it is very clean and smoke free. The owner takes great pride in the dishes he serves. Best food in Brazil

Great little restraint! My wife and I were in town for the covered bridge festival and wanted something more than fast food. The menu was incredible, so many choices. Definitely recommend the walleye and the home fries.

We wanted a break from the typical interstate exit restaurants and made the short drive into Brazil for breakfast. The Sunrise Family Restaurant is the place to satisfy your Midwestern hometown breakfast place desire. The a/c required us to retrieve our jackets (evidently the thermostat is near the grill). This no smoking, seat yourself diner gave us prompt service and fresh hot coffee as we were seated. The breakfast menu is extensive and prices are very reasonable. Servers are friendly and polite. Very clean and neat dining area with carpeting. Food is very good. Eggs were cooked correctly per order. Sausage gravy and biscuits very good. French toast and bacon very good. Coffee cup was kept full and hot by excellent server. Would rate this hometown diner with five stars if the a/c was not so freezing cold.
