Great breakfast buffet on weekends which includes, pork chops, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes ( I'm growing just writing about it ). Fantastic gravy if you are a biscuit and gravy lover. Friendly is an understatement for the type of warm and attentive service that you will receive here. They don't call it country style for nothing.

City folk, don't be fooled by the decor. Sure the tables and chairs are mismatched, and some of it looked like it came out of my elementary school. But It's called a Mom & Pop because they serve great food. We went on Friday night when they had their buffet and had the catfish fiddlers. If I didn't know any better I'd say the fish were caught that day. (I asked the girl behind the counter and she didn't know). Bottom line is the catfish tasted awesome! The potatoes were excellent. Had a bite of fried chicken and it was great too. They don't have sweetened tea, but unsweetened instead with sweetener on the table, which makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Folks were friendly. Fair price. Definitely worth going and taking the whole family. Looked like they were making special orders for other customers while we were there.

Such a fun little spot in Dubois County. I've only gone here for their Sunday Breakfast buffet. You get the usual suspects...scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, sausage, bacon, biscuits, and gravy. I've had better, but I really go to the buffet for their fried pork chops. Yum! The inside is pure Southern Indiana. The décor includes senior pictures of grandkids and ads for Shooting Matches, clientele includes those coming out of church and hunters finishing up their morning. The staff is always friendly and my coffee rarely gets empty...Not sure how Deb gets away with putting Mickey Mouse on her mugs, but don't tell Disney because Deb's Truck Stop wouldn't be the same without them.

Perfectly titled... It hits the spot for its own place and time. If you are a little off the beaten path and you really want a simple but satisfying breakfast... This is your Huckleberry!

Great little dive for a honeymoon breakfast. The food was pure, red-neck-like-your-mama-made-it! I'm quite sure the omelet had canned mushrooms and velveeta cheese. Although a bit smokey, it was the PERFECT place to spend a quiet morning with my lovely little bride. Stick-to-your-ribs goodness!
